This stuff worked amazing! I have always colored my hair for fun, but nothing too drastic, then after a pregnancy, my hairdresser accidentally somehow turned it black. Then the next few visits she tried to get it back to the reddish/brown it usually is. She thought she had it, it looked great, waited two days to wash it like she said, then was devasted. It was SO dry and kept breaking. i had never had that happen before. It was so awful. I tried a few products, and didn't do much good, but this one totally made my hair feel soft again after the first use. I am so happy I found it. I've used it for a few weeks now and it seems just about back to normal. And a little does really go a long way.

This is my all time favorite hair conditioner. It really makes my hair so soft and manageable. Great for taking out the tangles after I wash. I wish it was in a tube though.

This is an fantastic product. My fine hair was feeling dry and brittle after colouring and blow drying at the ends but oily at the roots. The mask was worked so well my hair is now full of body, shiny and healthy looking again (this is only after one use too so hopefully it will keep improving with repeated treatments). It didn't weigh down my fine hair but actually gave it more fullness and volume after use. I love the smell too. Its expensive but a little goes a very long way so it should last for ages. All in all well worth the expense.
UPDATE- I am going to take a lipstick off as whilst its good it doesn't really do much for the ends of my hair and leaves them still dry. The technician color care mask does a much better job of deep conditioning.

This is one expensive hair treatment. But, I love my hair. So i figured it would be worth a try. And lo and behold. This is my HG hair treatment. It just totally blows that kerastase masquintese shit out of the water. My hairs feels so soft after using this. Looks pretty healthy too. A little goes a long way so don`t go wasting this gem thinking that more is better.

I tried this but i dont see any difference...i like the smell but i dont like the feeling on my hair...after i m done with this, i will buy the oscar blandi's exfoliating mask...it smells better and makes me feel fresher...

I have been using this product for two years and it really has helped to repair my hair that had been very dry and brittle due to heat styling and hair color. This has been the only deep conditioner that has not given my blond highlights a muddled color. I use it every time I wash my hair. The regular Protein RX conditioner in the bottle doesn't quite cut it and leaves my hair more frizzy then if I had used the mask.
Also- I use the mask as my shaving cream and it leaves my legs super smooth and lasts longer then if I had used a shaving cream. Make sure when your purchasing to look for the newer updated font on the container. I have found that the new labels had a slightly nicer and thicker product.

I'm on my second tub of this. It seems to make my hair appear healthier and softer. I love the scent. It's pricey but worth it.

i needed some OOOmph to my thin, blonde hair and this truly is a miracle! I've used it twice this week and already see a signifigant diff. in my hair. it's gotten thicker, shinier, and just looks much healthier than last week. i wish i could give this 100 lippies :)

So when I was looking for a product that contained protein my hair was breaking. I tried it a few times and did not like how it left my hair. It left tangles and almost dry like. So I stopped using it. Also be careful when using because too much protein is bad for you hair. Anyways I would not buy again. Maybe my hair wasn’t that damaged, but it’s been 2 years since I’ve used that product. Now that my hair is growing out and my natural colour is coming in my hair is healthy and shiny. (KMS hair products have helped to maintain my healthy hair, for now)

Love it !!! I have fine dry brittle damaged hair. I cant even blow dry my hair its so baby fine and damages and breaks. I dyed my hair with permanent dye twice in the last six months to cover golden highlights and my hair has turned dry and brittle and overall the condition was starting to turn bad!! I just used Protein RX mask for the first time about an hour ago and my hair is wonderful!!! I love this product. I paired it with the Technician Color glaze and my hair is so soft no brittles. If you are strapped on cash get the Protien Rx mask first and then splurge latter and get the Tech Color Glaze. You will be glad you got the mask, I am!!!:)

PS. The smell of the mask is beautiful. Nice vanilla/flowery scent. Love it

I have only used this product once and FF products tend to get better with time, so I may update later. Anyway, I was a bit disappointed with this product. I absolutely ADORE the smell, however, which was unusual for me with FF products, but the smell alone is almost worth it. It didn't seem to make my hair too much softer (and I left it on for a good 20 mins under a plastic cap) but once I straightened it, it seemed smooth and silky. I will use it a few more times and hopefully its effects will improve.

Update: I think the problem the first time is that I didn't leave it in long enough and didn't rinse it out properly. The next time I tried it, I left it in for about an hour, then rinsed very well. I absolutely loved it! It left my hair silky, shiny and soft! I will definitely be using this at least once every few weeks!

This is a FANTASTIC product. My hair is damaged between blow-drying and straightening - I get severe split-ends, but I would say it's moderately damaged and dry. Once I used this mask, however, my split ends were no more! And the end of the hair shafts that were once dry to the touch are now are completely smooth after a couple of uses (I have really long hair so the ends tend to get the driest due to the straightening iron.) I use in in conjunction with the Fekkai Technician Color Care Mask and my hair is so much healthier than before. Yes, it's expensive, but this is one of those products that's well-worth the price. I really think the Fekkai Protein products are great.

This mask is serously good for hair! From Christmas Day until a few days ago I was really sick with being in the ER twice and pretty much sleeping most of the day away which left my hair all knotted and pretty impossible to brush through ........ I knew that I needed some serious conditoning and while my preferred shampoo and conditioner is Ted Gibson, my hair was in need of much SOS that I would pretty much have to use the entire bottle of shampoo and conditioner to get my hair back to normal but then I remembered that before the holidays I picked up the FF Protein RX Reparative Mask at Sephoras and used it ------- I actually just wet my hair without prior shampooing it and used a small amount of the mask and just let it sit overnight and the next day when I showered I could not believe that I could actually run my fingers through my hair ----- this cured my severe hair mess. (love the detangling properties, however, wish that the matching shampoo and conditioner detangled just as well.) I believe that I paid around $28 or $29 for this item and I will continue to use maybe once or twice a month ..... well worth the price and a small investment to pay for a product that actually works.

I really love every Fekkai product that I have tried and this one is no exception. My hair feels wonderful after using it. I keep touching it, so shocked that it is MY hair. Pricey but worth it. I agree with reviewers below about the jar not being so great - I would rather it be in a tube or something and I, too, like reviewer several reviews below said, broke the lid. But the product is A+!

Wonderful results!!! This is a thick paste-y conditioner in a jar. A little goes pretty far but the BEST part is that your hair is not weighed down and flat. This conditions and softens while allowing you to have a great hair day full of volume and bounce. I usually deep condition on a not-leaving-the-house kind of day but that is NOT necessary with this product! Big rave and a new HG for sure!

I really don't like spending tons of money on conditioner. Reason being I have thick, damaged hair and I go through it probably at least 3x quicker than your average consumer. And who wants to spend money anyway? So seeing as this is $30 a jar, I was a bit hesitant. I finally just gave in.


This stuff is good. I don't need to leave it on for an hour in order for it to calm my hair. I didn't really notice any build up and I used it every other day. My hair was really soft and manageable, even after a blow dry.


My only complaint - aside from the price - is the packaging. Is there really any benefit to putting hair "masks" in a jar or is it just some gimmick? I'd be willing to bet the latter but I really don't know. I'm just sick of getting all these jars and having to scoop it out while trying not to get any water in it in the shower. Annoying.


I'll be buying this again if I get a raise or something.

I always shyed away from FF products because I thought NO product was worth that amount. After a bleaching fiasco that left my hair breaking and straw-like, I spent the $30 and bought this hair mask. Not really sure why. I hadn't heard anything about it. Being protein-based, I know you have to be very cautious because it can crystalize on your hair causing excessive breakage. This is NOT a product that you want to leave on longer. 1st usage- my hair was shiny, not breaking nearly as badly and was very soft. 4 days later and 2nd usage, even better. I've always heard that you can't reverse the damage. BS. This did it. My hair is as healthy and strong after 2 uses as it was before. This stuff IS worth the money.

Excellent product. It has really done wonders for my fine/colored, naturally curly hair. I use it for a couple of minutes daily in the shower and have noticed a huge improvement. I do recommend being careful with this in the shower, the lips of the lid break rather easily. I just ordered my second jar.

Amazing hair treatment. I've been using this for years. I only use it once every week or two, as it's a treatment, not a daily conditioner. I have fine hair that I regularly torture with blow dryers and flat irons that becomes extremely dried out mid shaft to ends. It's so moisturizing and actually does seem to repair hair.
HG status for me. It's not cheap, but a little goes a long way and as a treatment once a week use is plenty. Wonderful product.

wow... i bought this because my hair is snapping off due to flat ironing...i thought that it would just fortify my hair, but after leaving it in for 5 minutes my hair is silky to boot! it's soft, silky, and thicker looking...worth the hefty price tag, will repurchase and nex ttime will try leaving it in for a longer time

can't wait to see the results after a few weeks/months!
