I love this mask! I bought it bc kaolin clay was the second ingredient (after water).
I could do without the fragrance, and I worry it may irritate sensitive skin... but, I've never had a problem with it.
The price is awesome. The tube is huge and lasts a long time. It drawas the impurities out of skin without being drying or irritating.
I dab this on pimples (formed or forming) to speed their drying process. If I catch them early enough, the pimples never form-- they dry up and disappear overnight!
Yay, Queen Helene Mud Pack Masque!

I got a big tub of this at Sally's, I try to use it at least once a week or so, I love it. It does have a old lady rose scent but its not overpowering. It gives your face a cooling and tingling sensation as it dries, you can see the oil it sucked out when its dry, and it really tightens the pores and leaves your skin soft. It is a pain to wash off and it stains so I wouldn't wash it off with a white hand towel like I did, because the towel won't be white anymore.

makes my skin smoother
makes my acne scars less red
evens out my skin
makes my makeup look better to! more natural..
smell is kind of strong but i can deal with it. it has a very strong rosy smell.
air gets trapped so sometimes the contents inside just pop out when you try to squeeze it out.
would def. purchase!

Since masks don't really do anything long-term (like AHA/BHA, retinol, etc) I refuse to shell out big bucks for something that only offers temporary benefits to my skin. I was @ Ulta, looking for a cheap mud mask that didn't have 101 ingredients and wasn't more than $10 when I found this. I have to say it's a great product for the price!
I have combo/acne prone yet senstive skin and wanted a firming mask. This didn't cause breakouts and I noticed my skin did feel a bit firmer.
Yes, it has a strong rose scent but it's not enough to stop me from using it. Out of all the masks I saw, this one had the least amount of ingreidents and Queen Helene does not test on animals:)

Right, sooooo... yea, this mask freakin' reeks to high heaven BUT I still love it! (That's all that really matters in the end, no?) Seriously, though, it's a pretty fantastic product. Inexpensive and uncomplicated – I recommend you try it and see for yourself :)

i might buy this again..but there's no option for "might"!
this is working well so far - i see how it firms up and tones skin a bit. i think i might start using on other parts of my body other than my face and see how that goes.
very inexpensive and scent is light enough to not be too offensive to folks. - and i have a very sensitive sniffer!

I love this mud masque...I got a great big tub at Sally's for $5.99 and it's the mask that I have been using everyday since my purchase. It tightens my pores (for a short period of time), and it makes my skin so soft. I use an old wash cloth or a Buf-Puf to remove it from my face. I still use the mint mask when I have breakouts, but my skin is clear right now thanks to AlphaHyrdox products. I will purchase this mud masque again...

This clay mask is one of the few face products I swear by. If I'm breaking out, I will smear this bad boy on my face about a half an hour before bedtime and wear it all night. (Just in case, I also sleep on a darker pillowcase on those nights.)
Boy, thank the Lord I'm single. I know I must look really stupid with this gunk all over my face all night. But whenever I rinse it off my pores appear smaller, my skin feels taut, smooth and soft, and my zits are less red. This stuff is cheap and it works for my normal/combination skin.

I picked up 2 jars of this at Sally's when they had a sale. It has an old fashioned rose scent but it's pleasant and not overwhelming. I decided to use this on my legs. I applied it from the knees down and let it dry for about an hour. All I can say is, "WOW!!!" My legs were so soft and smooth. (If you're going out on a date or really want to pamper yourself, try this) I did find the mask a little hard to wash off but I did it in the shower so it's not a big deal.
I also read that clay masks are great for the feet too. I'm going to try that next (even though my feet are pretty soft already) because I love pampering myself. I have 2 jars of the stuff (and it's pretty inexpensive) so I'm thinking about doing a full body mask including hair. But that would entail me spending an awful long time in the bathroom so I'll have to think about that. Ahhh....the possibilities.
I highly recommend this for anyone (any skin type). :)

This is an OK mask, i like the mint julep mask better. I feel this is an average clay mask but i don't like the feel of it on my skin and it's not for sensitive skin

I don't know if I'd call this a miracle mask, but it's the best mask I've found for the price. I use it about once every two weeks. More often if I've had a stressful week or I have a break out. It leaves my skin really soft, makes it really easy to apply my make-up afterward.
I take one lippie for the fact that the consistency is weird and makes it a bit hard to apply and the smell. People in my house can literally smell me coming when I have this stuff on. If you don't think you'd mind the smell, you should try it. It's cheap so it wouldn't hurt. I'd buy it again.

it a great mask if you want to get it get it yoou will not regret it

I bought the tube thinking it would be handier and keep the product from drying out. Mistake. I got a lot of splatter from air trapped inside the tube and ended up transferring the mud into a jar with a close fitting lid. The mud stains so be sure to have a washcloth you don't care about handy for removal. Without a cloth helping the removal effort, it's like splashing away at the Rock of Gibraltar. I look even toned, smooth and rested after the Queen Routine, so that keeps me trekking back to Sally's. Next time I'll get the tub.

Ok, I really really really wanted to love this product because I absolutely can't live without the mint julepe masque, but unfortunately this saddened me almost immediately...My super sensitive skin is really oily and so when I sensed the unbelievable fragrance strength of this clay mask formula, I nearly chickened out!! It was SOOO strongly fragranced, but I somehow managed to try it anyways.....It was really really hard for me to smear this stuff all over my face as i feared the worst--irritations, breakouts, redness, itching, etc, especially since i completely avoid fragrance in ALL my facial skincare--so i really placed it only in my T-zone, which is usually sensitive then my cheek area...After keeping this mask on for fifteen minutes and washing it off, i found it did absolutely nothing....i felt as though i had been psychologically duped....nonetheless, this seems to work for a few people, and more power to them if it does...sadly though, it didn't please me in the least.....sigh oh well...

I love this! I use this at least 2-3x a week. I can feel it working. My face gets all tight. It looks hilarious after dabbing it on my face. It looks like baby poo HAHAHA. It works though. I dab this on my boyfriend's face. So cheap too!

Pretty awful stuff, now sitting under my bathroom sink. I guess i could use it as a weapon. Its hard enough to whack the intruder out cold, if there is ever a burglary in progress. Sorry, it just didn't work for me.

I am 59 and look as though in my forties according to my friends. I lived overseas and we used to use the natural clay kaolin but it is a pain to find and mix. I put this mud mask on at least every two days if not every day and even on top of makeup and let it dry for 30 minutes. You can talk about doing face exercises to tone up skin. This does it all. After every use I feel as though my skin has gone to a gym on its own. I tell my friends about it all the time when they ask about how smooth my skin is. Cannot beat the price and I hope it is never discontinued.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Sensitive, Fair-Medium Hair: Brown, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
the smell is WAY too strong. it's stronger than my perfume, and it smells like bad perfume. basically a weaker version of the mint julep mask, but for whatever reason, it stings just as bad. doesnt suck as much oil as the mint julep mask. only thing i liked about this was that it dried faster.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue
While I would not repurchase this, preferring the Mint Julep mask myself, it is a decent mud mask for the price. I have oily, acne-prone skin, so this mask is not really as oil-absorbing as the mint mask. It has a strong, flowery fragrance to it, and doesn't dry as tight as masks made for acne. I think this mask would be perfect for someone with normal to dry skin that just wants a refresher during a home facial.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Medium Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
Love this mask, I don't really know exactly what it does, but after I use it my face is a lot softer and my complexion slighty brighter. As for my skin being smoother after...I'm not sure. But it's super cheap and fun for when I'm just sitting at home not doing anything.
