I absolutely suck at applying eyeliner, however the brush and wand on this product is so flexible and long, eyelining has become a breeze for me! I have really oily eyelids, so nothing really stays on them (I don't prime them as I haven't had time to buy/try primers but I'll be getting one soon).
I was amazed at the staying power of this product. Usually the liner flakes and smudges after 10 minutes following the application, but not this one! The colour is nice and rich, not a watery black like the Line Stiletto (no offense).
Pros:
- Cheap
- Versatile brush (you can make REALLY thin lines with ease if you please LOL)
- Rich, dark colour
- A little goes a long way
Cons:
- The formula is rather "wet" so it might take a little while for it to dry.
Overall I really love this product and I'll definitely be buying this again~

I love this eyeliner! It was the first liquid liner I ever used and it's the one I always go back to. (For a while I couldn't find it in stores and I was DEVASTATED!!) It seems to me the formula has changed somewhat from when I was first buying it; it seems a little bit more watery now, but it's not that big of a deal. I love the brush tip- if you have a steady, artful hand you can definitly create a fierce cateye effect. The brush allows for smooth, fluid motion and with the brush being thin it leaves the option for fine lines (I can even line my under-eye with no problem)or you can always add more to make it a thicker line to suit your mood. My eyelids tend to get oily, especially during the summer, and this liner does not budge. The liner also dries almost instantly, which is also a plus. HUGE TIP: keep your hand light and never apply without knocking some off the brush (back into the bottle), you need to treat the brush as you would if you were painting- too much paint on the brush and you get globs that might run, but too little doesn't work either. You need to play with it and discover the happy medium. I give this product all my thumbs. BUY IT, TRY IT & HAVE FUN!

This eyeliner absolutely blows; when I bought it I was new to liquid eyeliner, what they say about it being great for beginners IS A LIE!
Not only is the brush absurdly thin, it's also rather long and hard to control (if you're just starting out, opt for a felt tip, MUCH, MUCH easier).
Besides my issues with the manouverablity of the brush, this eyeliner also took for-fucking-ever to dry, I honestly had to wait, with my eyes closed otherwise it would smudge onto my eyelids, for over 10 minutes! Not to mention the fact that it literally BURNED, especially around the lash line- and then ran all over the place when my eyes watered from the burning sensation.
This eyeliner is crapity crap. Use at your own peril!

I'm a liquid eyeliner virgin and I bought this product (unfortunately, not on sale) after reading some reviews saying it was the perfect beginner liquid eyeliner. Well, Ive been practicing in front of the mirror, and I just cannot grow to like this liquid eyeliner.
The tip is way too small and awkward to hold. The formula seems a bit too watery and it takes a very long time to dry, which I'm thankful of right now because it makes it easy to wipe off. I paid about $9 for this dinky little bottle, and I'm sad to see the money go into the trash.
I don't think I'll be using liquid eyeliner any time soon.

I'm surprised this has bad ratings, because I am pretty critical about eyeliners and this is my favorite. I have oily eyelids and nothing stays on, but this does...stays on through naps, long nights in a hot club, crying, etc. It also comes off easily with normal face cleanser. In fact, I layer it over any other eyeliner I might use so that it sticks around, and the fine point is good for making a delicate cat eye. It's the only makeup item I've ever bought more than once. I love it!

I would not recommend this product. The liner itself is too watery. The brush is very small. It removed easily with water. There are better liners out there.

This was the first liquid liner I used, and I stuck to it for two years. The wand is great, thin so you don't get it all over. Its good for girls who are just starting to use liquid eyeliner, because you can fix it right up with q-tips if you smudge it, it doesn't just dry up instantly. Its super cheap and lasts a while, at least 3-4 months. Only reason I won't be repurchasing is because I have just started using gel liner.

I use this eyeliner all the time and have to say it works fine for me. I like the formula and it dries fast so I can apply my mascara without looking like a panda afterwards. The price is very nice as well, esp. when looking at how much use you can get out of it and the tip is just perfect for precise work. Def. a must have for me! And the best thing is: it stays on the whole day :-)

The first thing I noticed was that the brush is very thin and good for precision work, the hairs on it do not stray so you always have a fine defined point. The problem I have with the brush is that the tip of it is so pointy that when i go to apply it, it feels like it pricks my eyelid each time I go in for a stroke. The other main problem i had with the product is that the formula they used is quite watered down so you don't get a nice opaque black. Instead you get a sheer black, like nail polish, you need to apply 2+ coats until is actually looks black. I do not plan on buying this product again. The main reason is that the brush is not pleasent to use. Unless the brush is held nearly paralell to the eyelid, it feels like it's pricking the skin on my lids and it is very uncomfortable to use.

This is my HG liquid liner.
I find that it's a good everyday liner. It goes on nicely and doesn't take too long to dry. One problem I have is that it comes off if I pinch my eyelid when I'm curling my lashes, but that's my own fault and it's easily fixed.
What I really love about this liner is that it'll last all day. Even if it's splashed with water, it will not come off as long as you don't wipe it. I would think that it was waterproof! It comes off very easily if wiped off with water, but it will stay on if it's untouched.

I have really mixed feelings about this eyeliner...
Let's start with the negative ones: I hate the formulation, it is too watery, doesn't show up and irritated my eyes really bad!!!
The positive side: amazing quality brush in the packiging!
So I ended up throwing away the product itself, but kept the liner brush and use it for my gel-liner. It provides a nice, clean and thin line, I really like it.
That's why I gave 5 for the packiging, and 2 for the product itself.

i bought this product because it was cheaper than other eyeliners and have found rimmel to be a pretty decent brand.
the liquid is very watery. when i apply it it takes a while to dry up and when i go over the line a few times to get a decent thickness, it smudges it. in about half an hour i can see it smudge and cake on my eyelids.
The brush on the other hand gives perfect wings and the applicator is thin which isnt so bad for when i want thin lines. the tip is so pointy it poked my eyelids a few times and it HURT. disappointed overall though

My review is for the Rimmel Professional Liquid Eyeliner in the bell shaped tube.
I bought this to get practice in using liquid liner.
It dries pretty quickly to me, but the formula does seem a bit watery and the brush is thin and flimsy.
It's very dark and stays true to color all day on my oily lids. I like that I can do a very thin line or two thin lines to form a thick line. This eye liner removes easiIy with Pond's Cold Cream.
I won't buy this again, not because I don't like it, but because I want to try different formulas/brush types out there.

Picked this up on sale, I absolutely hate this liquid liner, applicator is so thin found it very hard to do a straight line, took a long time to dry...only good thing about this product was the price which is why it got 1 lippie from me.

I bought this in black and brown. It's okay, but I don't love it. The brush is on the long / thin side, so it usually takes a few swipes to get a decent application, and the formula is kind-of thin, so it can look watered down unless you do a few coats. It does last throughout my work day though, and in a pinch, it's better than any pencil I've used.
Update: 11/7/12: I saw a picture of tighlining on (where else?) Pinterest and decided to try it using this and a Lancome Artliner on my upper lids. Although this needs a bit of cleaning up on the lower waterline after applying, I think this is a great product for learning. The brush is small and maneuverable, the product applies easily. The Lancome was totally awful for this purpose--I couldn't get the product to adhere at all.

The formula itself is okay, it takes a bit to dry but otherwise it's nice and lasts a long time. The brush is pretty bad though, I must say. It's fairly long and very flimsy and hard to work with. I'm usually very good at putting on liquid eyeliner but this takes me a lot longer to put on than any felt tipped eyeliner.

I have this in Aqua Glow, which is really vibrant on the lids. It's a gorgeous and eye catching color but I'm definitely not a fan of the thin brush applicator and the amount of time it needs to completely dry without smudging. This is cheaper than most of the other drugstore eyeliners but keep in mind the brush is different from the usual felt tip applicators.
