It's love. It's weightless and extremely natural looking and yet offers great coverage. It lasts all day and even through sweaty workouts. It's free of parabens and octixonate and other stuff I'd rather not put on my face.
The only complaint *maybe* is that it's missing moisturizer and sunscreen. But actually, I like being able to use my own moisturizer and sometimes, I'd rather skip sunscreen (night time) so maybe it's just perfect that it is what it is.

I have finally found my HG base. This blends beautfully and lasts all day without looking cakey and "overly" made up. I also love that it has Argan oil to evenme out. Will definitely purchase again! I bought the Light/Medium BTW...

Love this foundation. It is on the sheer to medium coverage side, which I like. It dries to nice semi matte finish and does a great job at evening out my complexion. The color is exact with a healthy looking finish. I love the fact it is natural and nourishing.

Ordinarily I use MAC's studio fix in NC43, and Studio Sculpt in NC42, just to give you a reference. So I use medium/dark in this.
I first tried it on by using a primer and a foundation brush...and I was disappointed. It felt like it sat on my face...bleh! The next day, I decided to give it another go by applying it with my fingers...and boy what a difference it makes. I absolutely loooove it! After washing my face...I use Caudalie's Beauty Elixir before I apply it...that's my primer or toner I should say...I then apply it as a moisturizer...with my fingers...a few dots on my face. Honestly...my face feels smoother and moisturized...and even though it says Argan Oil...it doesn't leave my face oily....my face stays fresh looking all day.
I used to have to use MACs blot powder throughout the day...now I only use blotting papers...once, maybe twice at most.
I absolutely love this foundation...it makes my skin actually feel and look better! The only caveat I have is the hefty price...ugggh!

I have been using this for a month. My first big concern was the color match, since other foundations that claim this same ability have yet to impress me much. For reference I have lighter side of medium, yellow/olive skin tones. The application is easy, it doesn't take much which is a good thing because you don't get much. The pump is nice. I find the best application technique to be my, yikes!, fingertips. I am a big brush/applicator fan, but a foundation brush just seems to make the color sit on my face like a mask, and a sponge is completely useless as it doesn't bring about whatever synergy needs to happen to make the color do its magic. With my fingers it blends very nicely and I get a good tone match. I would describe the coverage as medium; I do use extra in problem areas. I wear mineral powder over it, and get good long-wearing coverage, but we haven't gotten anywhere near our humid season here in the south yet, so time will tell. It has not caused me any breakouts or clogged pores. It will be interesting to see if the technology here can keep up with the change in my skin tone this summer. I will keep you posted. UPDATE: A fiber optic brush works well with this, seems to get the foundation blended into my skin instead of sitting there like a mask.

This is NOT for all skin tones! I used the light medium and it was far too dark for my fair skin. I do not have yellow undertones to my skin and this showed up as orange. Not a good look! Additionally, it made my very oily skin even oilier - I was having to blot every hour or so.
I like Josie Maran products, but I think this one needs to be reformulated to consider more skin tones - I'm sure a product that doesn't accomodate very fair skin is unlikely to meet the needs of richly pigmented skin, too.
I also think that oily skinned ladies need to think twice about this one.

Wow, this is brilliant! After having all traces of my daily base of foundation/concealer/powder wiped clean during a bang trim, I wandered into Sephora for a quick fix. They were all out of this!! But one squirt of the light/med onto my face was sheer magic! It felt like taking an eraser and blurring out any imperfections leaving only an even-toned clean looking face. Mind you, I would need to dot some concealers for stubborn marks, but this helped create a smooth blank canvas. I actually did not mind staring at my own complexion under the store's bright lights! Am sold! I immediately put my name down for when the next shipment arrives.

Like the previous reviewer, I was concerned this product would pull orange on me but it does not. I am a NC30-35 and find the Light/Medium a great match. With that said, I can see where this product would be too dark for those NC20ish or lighter. This foundation is lovely -- very lightweight and not greasy at all. I wear it over the Josie Maran SPF 40 (my new HG!) and set with MAC MSFN. Love it! I still love my YSL Teint Resist for my really oily days or when I absolutely need all day/all night staying power but will wear the JM the rest of the time as it's less expensive. I got the JM foundation brush and think it's just okay....it's a little too small for me...I prefer my 187 to apply.

I am a non-foundation foundation girl. I loathe the greasy mask that liquid foundations give to unsuspecting woman. This stuff is IT for me. I was sceptical about this product as I've done alot of research and many women have found that this gives an orange glow. One pump is plenty of product to adequately cover your face. It comes out in a thickish white serum and literally melts onto your skin, becoming the perfect shade and finish. I don't become greasy at all, and I'm extremely oily. The first day I found myself looking in every reflective surface and lighting situation to make sure I wasn't orange and was missing it! Ha! Do your research first, as this isn't cheap by any means. I think you'll love it too!

I've read so many reviews on sephora and QVC about how this looks so orange on people and I guess that's why it is recommended for ladies with yellow undertones. I bought the light medium shade and I love it! For reference, I use BE Golden Medium or Medium Beige and MAC NC35. I have both pink and yellow undertones and I guess that's why it works for me. I tried the medium dark as well and THAT was orange on my skin.
The formula is liquidy and serum-like. I tried using the brush but it was just taking too long so I used my fingers and ended up preferring that over the brush. It has Argan oil but dries to a lovely finish that was neither too dewey nor too matte. It gave me what looked like glowy healthy skin in the middle of a harsh and dry winter.
The coverage is decent but doesn't last the whole day but it really makes me feel beautiful especially during this winter season when my skin is so dry and flaky. Definitely try it in the store first before buying and good luck to all the lovely ladies out there who are interested!
