I never thought I would use liquid liner, but here I am. The pen packaging is sleek and functional, the brush tip is precise and easy to control, and the formula doesn't flake or smudge at all, while being easy to remove. It's not the blackest of formulas, but the 'ultra black' shade is a decent enough black. If you buy it in 'black', you'll end up with something that's more charcoal. I haven't noticed any lash lengthening, but I love this enough that it doesn't matter. HG status.

I love these! I have it Ultra Black and Brown, and have repurchased both once already. They last forever, are so easy to control with precision, make a dark line, and don't move once you let the line dry. There's only minimal fading over a full, busy day. As the first liquid liner I ever used, I would recommend to new and experienced users for it's boldness, ease of use, and lasting power. I don't know about the growing lash powers..but as a trusty eyeliner, t's just a good product :)

I'm already on my third one. This product is just amazing. I been looking for my eyeliner match for about four years now, and I seem to have found one. All my other eyeliners would always travel down my eyes, giving me unflattering panda eyes throughout the day. But not with this eyeliner, this does not smudge..AT ALL. I will say that the lasting power isn't super fantastic. It does fade a little through out the day, but nothing too terrible.
The packaging was also very easy to use. The felt tip allowed me to draw super thin lines. The only downside of this eyeliner is the price. For a drugstore brand...I'm not too crazy about spending 10 bucks on an eyeliner....But still.. worth every penny!

Edit- tried ultra black/ v hard to find/ adore it. Been using every day. ..
I am glad that I bought this. Do not recommend "black" for those who want a genuinely black line. It is a slate grey. I like the greyish colour, but it's misleadingly labelled as "black," so that's minus one point. Haven't tried "ultra black", though. Applies well, nice calligraphy-style brush, makes winged liner a cinch, good quality, have to go over the lines several times for opacity though (minus another point).

I love this eyeliner and I am surprised it is not more popular. I am not one of those talented ladies that can line their eyes, with ease. I never wore eyeliner until I reached my 30s because I simply did not know how to do it. Every single time I tried, I either make a sloppy line or it would just look crazy. I decided to get this eyeliner based on good reviews and because the local cvs was having a great deal on it. I love this eyeliner, it glides on with ease, the sharp tip is precise and is long lasting. The very black shade is very black, and I have really no other complaints about this product.

Closest to a HG eyeliner. This doesn't smudge for hours (maybe a little by the end of the day) which is hard for me to find because I have the type of eyelid where if I used a pencil liner it would smudge all over the place in 3 mins! I can only use liquid eyeliner for decent wear. This eyeliner felt tip makes it easy for me to draw a line and I've had this for almost a year and the tip still has not dried out yet. I didn't buy this for the lash growth claim so I can't say anything about that since i also don't wear make up every single day. Downside is that I wish this eyeliner was "blacker." I don't think it is black enough it's kinda a really dark grey to me. Maybe it's cause I had mine for a long time? I'm planning on trying their thicker marker eyeliner and hopefully the solution to my colour problem is just a new product.
Edit: Oh also I'll like to mention that I used this on my recent summer trip to Hong Kong and it did not smudge even in crazy humid weather. Because of that trip I ultimately decided this was the closest to an HG eyeliner for me

I have gone through so many eyeliners; crayons, liquid, gels, EVERYTHING to find the perfect one. I'm a big fan of most things Physicians Formulan so when I found this at my local Rite Aid 9 months ago I was stoked to try it.
I haven't bought another liner since. I have stocked up on these in case it's ever discontinued but I've only had to open up one. It lasts forever and goes on so smooth, not too watery and not too pasty. Honestly perfect.
I didnt care too much about the serum part of it until about my 2nd month of using it, I finally started to really noticed the changes. My lashes have gotten significantly longer since I've been using it, which I never expected to happen.
Recommended for the perfect cat eye, or just a precise fine liner.

I have had this in Ultra Black for about a year. I only wear makeup once or twice a wk, and almost everytime I do, I use this, and it has not dried up. It is one of the very few liners that does not smudge or flake on my greasy hooded Asian eyelids (small fold/crease that causes upper eyelid to touch the lashline). It has a glossy polish-like finish and does not budge until you take it off, but comes off easily w/ makeup remover. Out of all the liquid liners I have tried this is also the easiest to apply with it's super pointed brush tip that can draw super thin or thick. I don't use it often enough to comment on the serum, but makes me feel better thinking this won't make my eyelashes fall out. It is not the most pigmented eyeliner, but this is pretty close to HG for me. I still need to try Jordana Fabuliner recommended by NouveauCheap, but if that doesn't work out, I am definitely coming back to this.

This is a great liquid liner that is very easy to use. It is pigmented and consistent in color (unlike some liquid-pen liners that can be very watery). It dries quickly and stays on till you take it off, but comes off very easily with a foaming cleanser. I find it comparable to Stila liner. The only complaint I have is that the brown shade is very dark and way more black than I would like. It is definitely one of the best liquid liners out there if you are looking for black or a very dark brown.

love this eyeliner so much! It's easy to create a winged eyeline (well, its my daily routine whenever i have makeup on) This eyeliner is long lasting, it never smudge on me,(I once had it on from 7am to 5pm, and its still looked the same!) I use ultra black, it can create a intense eyeliner look for me.
I have tried some higher ends eyeliners, such as MAC, Lancome, UD, and also the japanese one (dolly wink), i would say this eyeliner works out the best for me. I will keep using it! :D
for the serum, I did try it for few nights, dont really see much of a different. I honestly don't even care about the serum.

I purchased this when it was on sale/clearance at CVS. I did not wear liner on a daily basis but wanted something to quickly create fine lines to create the illusion on lashes but not necessarily create a "line" if that makes any sense. I have hooded eyelids so thicker lines do not suit me well. I did not have high hopes for it...don't know why I bought it then?? Anyways I did not care for it initially and forgot about it for a week. When I tried it later I started to LOVE it. That seems to happen a lot with me. It creates such natural thin lines. I can't speak for the serum aspect of it but I think most people don't care for those claims anyways. It is long wearing on me and it gets real close to my lashes so it really gives the illusion of lusher lashes. It seemed to dry on me one day when I put it over eyeshadow (I guess it sort of clogged it) but then it came back to life and works great. I will buy this full price if I had because I feel incomplete when I don't use it but I know there are always sales on PF so I will pick up more when that happens.

Well I must be one of the odd ducks out, because I would not repurchase this eyeliner. Having used it several times now over the last few weeks, I am unfortunately not impressed.
The pen design itself and the accuracy of the tip I did really like, but the formula was neither bold enough nor fade-resistant (contrary to what others claimed to experience, perhaps due to a defect in the one I purchased?). The color I purchased was "black," and after looking at pictures I wish "ultra black" had been available. But even if the color were darker, the line does smudge and fade on me throughout the night. It's not terribly uncommon for liners to smudge on me, with my old standby Clinique
potted cream liner being one of the few to not give me that problem. But this faded fast and nearly completely. Totally unacceptable.
Wish it had worked out since, again, I do really like the pen's design and fine tip. Being new to liquid liners, I found this by far the easiest one to use. Bummer that the formula couldn't be better.

My new favorite liquid eyeliner!!!! I am normally not a fan or liquid because i prefer gel or cream liner. But, this is soooo easy to get a clean line!
I just tried Physician's Formula felt tip eye marker eye liner and hated it so i was not so sure about trying this one, but it is completely the opposite of the other one.
It is in the pen or marker form so their is no dipping and redipping necessary, and I love the tip because it is flexible enough to move along the shape of your eye without being too flimsy.
I love that it is also a lash boosting serum because i need it!
I have it in the brown so i definitely want to try it in the black!
Also the cap it very amazing it will really keep the moisture inside so it wont dry out....

I thought this was my HG liquid e/l: the brush is firm and comes to a fine point, making application a pleasure.
It creates a lovely precise line, allows for great control.
HOWEVER, it dries out after about a week of use!
I bought another tube, plus the brown shade, hoping maybe my tube was just defective. Nope. They're both drying out after just a few uses.
In fact, they start drying out even during application. While adjusting the line, I'll notice nothing is coming off the brush. I test it on my hand, and sure enough, it's dry as a bone. I keep having to recap, shake, and smoosh the brush to coax the color out, and even that doesn't really work.
Such a shame because this was perfect for my small eyes in every other way.
Next on my list: NYX's super skinny eye marker which is perpetually out of stock at Ulta.
(BONUS: I notice my lashes are thicker since using this along with the clear serum that came free with one of the liners).

I have this eyeliner in Black, Deep Brown and Ultra Black. The first two dry matte and the last one dries shiny. The best feature about this eyeliner is the fact that it does not smudge or transfer. The tip is very fine so you can achieve a nice thin/sharp line. The color is a bit on the lighter side but its great for a more natural look. The metal tube is quite chic and makes it seem like a more high end product. One problem with this product is that a sort of film ends up developing on the tip which gives the impression that the eyeliner has dried out. You'll need to clean the tip every now and then and it'll be like new again. In regards to the eyelash boosting properties, I would say you'll see a slight improvement in your lashes (i.e. more lashes) but nothing life changing. I do enjoy this eyeliner and I think the price is a bit high when its full price (up to 16.99$CAD which is close to the price of some mid range brands) so I would recommend waiting for a sale.

Totally awesome. All of a sudden, my lashes (I'm sure it's my age) turned skimpy and short. Stubs, like my husband's almost. In a week, I had a full eye of lashes again. Seriously. I wish I had taken before and after pictures.
I'm over 60, so I grew up with liquid liner and learned to line my lashes with the liner tight against the lashes. You can't do that with a crayon. I've always preferred a liquid or a great gel liner. This stylus liner is awesome. Makes a tight, perfect line.
I love this!!! Don't hesitate to buy it.

I just got this eyeliner after so many great reviews of it here, as well as on youtube. I was SO impressed with the quality of this eyeliner! It really makes eyelining EASY! It gives such a clean, straight line that looks extremely precise, with little effort! I have been using, and love, the L'oreal Carbon Black lineur Intense- but this might be my new favorite! Other felt tip/ liquid liners do not give a clean line like this does-- I love it! I usually do my liner thicker, with a wing - but for a clean, thin line- this is the product to use! HG quality ;)

Despite getting this in Ultra Black, I had to go over my line 3 times to get it the dark color I wanted. It goes on like water colors (where you have to keep going over the same area to get a deep pigmented color). Returned it the next day.

I wouldn't have bought this normally, Shoppers sells it for $17 so I used my points to get it since people have raved about it. I do think it's VERY easy to apply, more so than the typical ink-pot liquid liners. BUT I will not re-purchase this because it dries shiny, and I prefer a matte finish to my liquid liner. It's also a lot more money than I would usually spend on any makeup product.
