I've been on the search for a great wp mascara for a long time. This one is pretty good. I had been loving Almay Triple Benefit wp, for it's lengthening and for the fact that is doesn't leave even a hint of raccoon-ing, but it is so hard to remove! This is just as good with length. I wore it for 16 hours and there was no sign of flaking, smudging or even the slightest hint of racoon eyes at all. It was also incredibly easy to get off. I use PF eye make-up pads which is a pretty gentle remover. I only had to set the pad over my lashes a few seconds, then give a gentle wipe and that got 70% of it off. A couple more wipes and it was all off.
The biggest negative is the brush, which is so fat that it makes bottom lash application a bit tricky and potentially messy. It is somewhat awkward to use on the upper lashes, too, but it's manageable.
Despite the awkward brush, I would definitely buy this again for the very good staying power and the easy removal.

Man, look at the negative reviews here.... I love this mascara. I liked the one in the orange tube but it was really hard to remove, even using waterproof mascara remover. This, on the other hand, is great. I apply this, wait a little bit and then apply again. It does what it claims. My lashes get thick and long. Honestly, between this and Dior, I would pick this one in a heart beat.

Haha, I feel like I need to redeem this product a little bit. Have been using this for a little over a week now, and here's my review along with a few tips and tricks to get the maximum quality out of this mascara. I'll often be comparing it to the infamous Lashblast Volume (waterproof version only), which was my HG for a long time.
PACKAGING/BRUSH: Simply a purple version of LB Volume. The brush remains unecessarily huge and stumpy, with densly packed short plastic bristles, and the body of the brush itself is not very flexible.
FORUMULA: The consistency of the formula is much more wet and thin than LB Volume and doesn't dry as quickly.
**APPLICATION**: VERY IMPORTANT. Because the formula is so wet and the brush's bristles are so tightly packed, it picks up WAY too much product. You must, MUST, wipe the brush of excess product before applying, otherwise you'll get a big goppy, clumpy mess. To save product, scrape it off by the opening of the mascara tube. Scrape until you can really see the bristles defined throughout the brush (when you first pull it out, it just looks like one solid mass of mascara goop) Then, after curling your lashes, swipe it through. The results are as following:
CURL HOLDING: Excellent curl holding, which is my pickiest critique. My lashes fight tooth and nail to stick straight down, and even my "curling" mascaras don't hold a curl like this. This holds the curl throughout the day until I'm ready to take it off.
WATERPROOF? - The most extreme test I put this through was crying (haven't tried swimming in it), and it stayed on - no racoon eyes or black tears down my face.
VOLUME/LENGTH: I would give it a 4/5, compared to LB Volume. The pigmentation is very dark black, and it really gives me noticeable length and volume on the first coat. I noticed it starts looking very spidery if you exceed 2 coats. I will say that this thing sucks with separating your lashes - you will definitely not get the "fanned out" look.
STAYING POWER: Awesome. Again, this stays put until I take it off. No flaking, smudging, or racoon eyes!
REMOVAL: This was the sole reason I will be buying this over LB Volume - it is SOOOOO much easier to remove. I simply use a cotton swab and extra virgin olive oil and gently rub it over my eye to remove my makeup. With LB Volume, I had to scrub my lashes to get it off (and I'd often go to bed and wake up with more leftover mascara under my eyes)! With this I can even get away with using just my Purpose Gentle Cleanser over my eyes and it will come off. I was very impressed.
So overall, I will be buying this again - which is a lot ot say out of me because I have tried a TON of mascaras and never buy again b/c it's not up to my very picky standards. I feel the biggest factor here is the application, so give it a try and you might be pleasantly surprised! :)

Boo! I like the regular waterproof LastBlast in the orange tube so I was excited to try this as soon as the WP (that's all I use since reg mascara won't hold a curl) version came out. Didn't like this at all. Lashes straighted quickly and even though I always wipe the wand off before using, this was clumpy. Oh well.

I was so excited to try this mascara. I only wear waterproof versions because I curl my eyelashes and non-waterproof makes them uncurl. This isn't waterproof. I guess I should have realized that since it says "water resistant." This wipes right off when it gets wet. Plus, it weighed down my lashes the second I put it on, which I just don't like. It DID make my lashes look super long and it wasn't clumpy. But it just isn't that water resistant/proof.

Meh - I was ANXIOUSLY awaiting the release of L'Oreal Voluminous Lashes waterproof (still am) and this product. The packaging says "water resistant" - ok by me.
I use only waterproof or water resistant mascaras. I got this a couple of days ago (in Black) and couldn't wait to try. I have now used it 2 days = its OK. Wear is good (no racoon eyes or flaking - have not tried in the pool - and color is present all day). That said, its average as far as giving me length and volume - definitely NOT dramatic.
I HATE how big the tube and wand are = awkward! I believe I have been spoiled by L'Oreal's Voluminous Million Lashes wand (yes, I purchased the non-waterproof = love the wand and have been using it in my regular waterproof L'Oreal Voluminous tube).
Removal is quite easy w/ my Sonia Kashuk's Remove - less labor intensive than my waterproof mascaras. All in all = just OK = won't re-purchase. Up for swap!
