It's cute, but the novelty wears off quick. I now hate the packaging because it looks like pretend/play make-up for kids, but I adore this blush!

On my NC30 skin, it is not so much shimmery as it is "luminous". I use one of my synthetic Sigma f-series brushes to apply, so I can never overdo the application. My cheeks look glowy and flushed. The best part of it all? I have EXTREMELY sensitive cheeks. MAC and NARS blushes break me out. The only ones that could work for me were BE and MUFE HD blushes... until now.

Surprisingly, with its scent and having oil content in it, my cheek area does not break out, and it does not irritate my skin! I like the smell - it faintly reminds me of YSL's La Parisienne perfume.

No, it does not make me "happier" on first application, but it does make me happy that it is non-reactive w/ my sensitive skin, even with the fragrance... and that the fragrance is pleasant and smells of roses.

I definitely would repurchase since I got them BOGO50% off, AND I was able to use the $4 off sticker on one of them... I was able to save enough money to purchase this, the blush in Natural AND the bronzer. Sadly, I haven't touched the other two because I've been so in love with this one. In due time, I'll crack those bad boys open during the summer to play with, but I definitely have no problem displaying these great work horses next to my higher-end stuff because they work - and they work WELL.

No regrets buying into the hype. Physician's Formula: chuck the useless brush and make it more affordable already to please your fans.

Another great product from Physician's Formula to try is their shimmer stack gel liners! Such a great value for 4 different colors, they have great staying power, and can double as a cream shadow base! Good job, PF! Keep it up, and I might just be a fan for life!

This blush is so adorable! Used with a light hand, this is a lovely shade, but it can be easy to overdo. Start light and add more later, if you like. It isn't matte, but neither is any shimmer overbearing.
It cost me about $12 which I feel is worth it. The brush that comes with it, as with most products, is fairly useless. You'll have better results using your own. The plastic seems a little flimsy, but it has not broken or cracked yet.

Generally I dislike Physicians Formula, but this blush in Rose (also Natural) are beautiful, a nice quality, and adorable. They really did a nice job with these. Personally, I like the scent, but if you're sensitive be advised it is quite strong, but seems to fade on the skin. As for the mood boosting - total gimmick, but I wasn't expecting it to boost my mood.

All in all, it's a nice blush and if I'd recommend it to a friend to try.

I will start by saying that I do prefer the Natural blush from this line over this shade. Rose is just an eeeeensy bit too much for my very fair skin, but I still like it either way. I hate the brush provided, as I do with most things honestly, & have always preferred to use my own brushes. So the brush went right into the trash as soon as I unpackaged the blush. The smell I surprisingly LOVE & considering how ridiculously sensitive my skin it, I haven't broken out from the fragrance at all. I know the who gimmick to these blushes is to promote happiness & whatnot. I wouldn't say I reach a state of euphoria whilst wearing these blushes, but I really love the way they look on my skin. Even though Rose is just a tad too dark, it's still workable & I can use other products to make it more natural. Overall, I like all the products in this line & will definitely repurchase! I don't think these are *that* expensive. I've always been a fan of Physicians Formula & would rather dish out $12 for this than double or more than that for higher end junk that will look just the same.

For the price and all the hype...Major disappointment.

Originally I wasn't interested in any of the blushes because of the shades. Just looking at them I thought that, on my darker skin color, they would either A) not show up, or B) not look good. But when I saw this particular shade in person, I figured "Hey, why not?". And I bought it. At full price (HUGE mistake).

The color itself is quite pretty: when swirled altogether, I got this soft pinky berry color. Gorgeous shade, not for me. It didn't show at all whatsoever. I couldn't even attempt to apply more of the blush because of the amount of shimmer in it. It would've looked like I had nothing but shimmer on my cheeks.

The scent is nice too, but I see no point in it. Preferrably, I like my MU scent-free. I don't have sensitive skin, but I think this might be a 'con' for people who do. When I "wore" it once, half way through my day I could smell the blush, something that kind of weirded me out a bit.

Now the packaging...annoying! Blucky, gets in the way- no thanks. And the brush, of course, is useless.

The hearts themselves: the first time I swatched this blush, one of the hearts' color came right off. So I think these hearts just have a thin layer of color, which turns me off even more.

All in all, I'd recommend this to someone of lighter skin color and who doesn't have sensitive skin or has a negative reaction to scents. I personally don't think this product is even worth the $13+.

I liked the color of the blush but that's it. I didn't love it. I liked the smell but I would prefer my cosmetics to all be fragrance free for my sensitive skin. I can't say for SURE but I THINK this broke me out. Cuz I started to get weird little bumps on my cheek which stopped after usage.. I threw this out since I had long thrown out the reciept and packaging :/ I think I broke out because of all of the weird oils and plant extracts in this product. I like a lot of Physician's Formula products, but I just have to make sure they say OIL FREE. And this is not.

Okay, I'll give this blush this much: the packaging is absolutely adorable. If it weren't for the packaging, I'd rate this blush a 1. The reviews on this product, for me, are completely overrated. First off, the blush is overpriced. It was about $12 where I live from Walmart. The brush that it comes with is useless, so that went into the garbage. The blush smells LOVELY, however, that added fragrance made me breakout in areas that I normally don't break out. I also didn't feel any "happier" wearing the blush. The color effect was no better or worse than a generic Covergirl blush palette that you can get for about a quarter of the price of this one. Packaging aside, I just don't see why I would spend the money and deal with the breakouts just to have this blush...

Totally love this blush!!!! I really got it for the cute metallic pink packaging - yes i am a sucker for girlie looking makeup. I was pleasantly surprised by the pretty shades of pink. I swirl it around to get medium pink coverage or if I stick to the left side of compact if I want a light shade of pink. Very slight shimmer to the blush which I would prefer totally matte because of my oily skin type. The metallic pink brush that it comes with is very cute but too flimsy.

This is so cute! I do not own or wear many pink blushes but I made an exception due to the adorable nature of this product. I like it! It's a well pigmented bright fresh looking pink..shows up on my nc30 skin. Decent price, the brush it comes with is useless it picks up literally no pigment you'd be better off using your fingers. (Or, of course, your own non-sucky brush). Anyway good product and it smells great..would repurchase.

This is a superb product and is miles ahead of MAC blushes and surprised me greatly. It lasts all day and color stays true. It has the right amount of shimmer vs intensity. I find this to be better than the shimmer based NARS blushes, which I no longer use due to color shift and lack of pigmentation. I love this and its cheap and looks great. Nice pinky rose flush.

I was very taken aback by this great product, since I always thought that although Physician's Formula made high quality items, they just don't cater to my light Asian complexion. When I think of PF, it reminds me of my first college roommate who used PF products in shades of green, salmon pink, and lavender. My last PF purchase was more than 5 years ago, and the high price for a DS product discouraged me from succumbing to impulse buys.

The Happy Booster blush in Rose is such a cute and lovely blush. It has multi-colored puffy hearts imprinted into the blush. A bit bulky, the shiny metallic fuchsia packaging somehow manages to be cute rather than garish.

I apply the blush with a mid-sized Ecotools Skunk brush from the Alicia Sliverstone collection. I dab the skunk brush into the compact, rotate, and repeat the process 3 or 4 times. Then I tap, and apply the blush from the apples of my cheeks up to my temples. I find that this is the best way to preserve the original presentation of the puffy hearts with minimal fall-out.

The rose shade produces a rosy flush that complements my pale Asian NC20 complexion. The little brush that comes with the compact isn't the greatest, but I appreciate PF for their effort to include a matching flat brush. I will try to find another use for the flat brush instead of tossing it out.

I also love the light violet fragrance of this blush. (The smell dissipates quickly.) I'm pretty sensitive to smells, but this is a light and pretty scent that really rounds out the entire product. I find myself reaching for this compact for a quick sniff throughout the day, and it always brings a smile to my face.

Conclusion: (4.5) It's Love! <3

I also have the Happy Blush in Natural and also the Stila Make Me Blush release around the same time, for Valentine's day 2011.

Comparative Performance on NC20 skin:

Happy Booster blush in Rose - matte blend of roses and plums, produces a soft and natural rosy flush.

Happy Booster blush in Natural - matte blend of beiges and light pinks, a bit too light on my skin, and barely shows up in pigmentation. (Will try to use as a highlighter.)

Stila Make Me Blush - blend of peaches and corals, creates a warm and natural flush. (Warmer than the Happy Booster blush in Rose.)

I love the colors in this blush! They all work together beautifully to give a nice rosy flush :) The included brush is, almost without saying, crap, and went into the trash. While I do like this blush quite a bit, it is a lot of hype and gimmick. I like it, but I like Wet 'n' Wild's Heather Silk blush just as well for a fraction of the price. They're two different things and by no means, the same; I just mean to say that I don't find it anything particularly special. It still deserves the lippies for the lovely color, cute packaging and sweet scent. I actually wish it smelled stronger! I have the Happy Booster powder which smells much more strongly.

I got this with a combo CVS coupon and PF coupon, so it cost me less than $3. As with the Happy Booster highlighter, the packaging is cute, the brush useless, and the contents are good! The rose is a pink with blue overtones, and it gives me a nice flushed color with just a little bit on my brush (very pigmented.) There's just a slight bit of shimmer to this - more of a glow than glitter. If these weren't limited edition I would definitely buy them again, but I use blush so slowly that this will be long gone from the shelves before I even make a dent in it. Definitely a good buy and a great color.

Note about purchasing: I had a $6 CVS extrabucks coupon which, when combined with the ongoing Physician's Formula sale and my joining of the CVS Beauty Club, resulted in me paying only a few dollars for this blush! Keep your eye out for beauty bargains like these - they do happen :)

I was actually quite surprised to realize, upon purchasing this blush in Natural and Rose, that the shades are not that different. I would describe Rose as a cool, bright pink that almost borders on being fuchsia. It has a satin finish that *just* borders on shimmery. Natural, on the other hand, is a warm, fairly bright pink with a slight golden sheen and a satin finish.

The wear time on this is quite impressive - it lasted on me all day. For reference, I have relatively cooperative normal-to-dry skin. It gives me a vibrant rosy flush - that pinched-cheeks look - and my mother noted that I looked much more healthy when I was wearing it :P

Overall, a decent bargain for an excellent-quality blush with adorable packaging. It's an even better bargain if you can manage to catch it on sale! Good luck.

I bought this blush because of the hype. First impression of it was that it was really cute and loved the smell. The pigmentation was ok have better and have worse. The color was really nice though, like a nice flush to your skin mind I am NC 30. I would of continued on using the blush, until I realized it broke me out, both of my cheeks broke out in blemishes. Do not use this if your acne prone or very sensitive, other than that is a nice blush

This blush is such a novelty at the moment. There is a lot of hype about it, chiefly because it is so adorable in the packaging and it smells delish. It is cheap but not dirt cheap ($10 or so). Packaging is nice but not superb. Mine is in "rose" which is nicely pigmented and gives me a nice medium pink glow to my cheeks. Yes maybe I would buy this again if they come out in different colors. Not to shabby for a drugstore product. No regrets.

This is my first (and last) product from the Happy Booster line. For me, the color is so beautiful that I'm willing to put up with the products weaknesses: namely the high cost (still cheaper than HE but frequently discounted), ugly packaging, and terrible smell (reminds me of scented tampons).

It is a beautiful glowy rose with it's own highlights. Completely believable and gorgeous. I love to layer it over other blushes.

I bought this because honestly, the packaging is ADORABLE.
It was about $15CAD at my walmart, which was a little bit much for a drugstore blush, in my opinion, but not too bad.
When I got it home and swatched it, I was really disappointed, nothing showed up on my hand except shimmer! This was really strange, although I think I can chalk it up to the pink undertones in my skin hiding the color.
I loaded some up on my brush and found it to actually be quite pigmented, and a gorgeous flushed pink colour on my NW15 skin that I can see myself using both for night and day looks.

The brush that come with it, although nice to look at, is a terrible piece of junk, and really didn't need to be included. I like that there's a mirror in the compact, however.

Overall, I'm so far impressed. I may buy the other colour.

This really does make me happy. On my NW40 skin, it takes one or two swipes to get a lovely, shimmery, natural flush. The package, hearts, and scent are wonderful, too, although the scent has faded after about 6 months.

I wanted Natural, they didn't have it where I got it and with my coupon I could get two products in this line for one (got the light bronzer and have also reviewed that). I always wore blushes that resembled this shade, a come in from the cold flush, as another reviewer noted below. Then I went through a redness/rosacea phase. My skin seems more normalized, and I'm loving pink blushes again. I don't see this so much as day to day when I'm not using bronzer because I love blush more then, not so much when I'm pale.

Its such a lovely, even elegant little item, from the looks to smell of it to the very idea behind it. I don't know its all gobbledygook, or actual science. But I do know its more than the adorable-ness factor that had so many of us wanting this. The idea that makeup could make you happy or rather "boost" your happiness is nothing new to regulars of this site. I've read reviews here and in magazines saying just holding this makes one feel happier, and I agree, so cheerful, ladylike, pretty, so "pink!" lol

But how does it look, perform? That's the real issue, and thus far I like this pretty blush with shimmer. Its not shimmery where you see glitter particles or similar, nor where the glare obliterates seeing your skin, but it has a glowy sheen, and a blue undertone which funny enough looks good on my yellow toned skin (when my face gets red, I don't blush, but from cold, its a blue red). This will probably be my summer go to blush and I think the company should formulate more in say coral/peach tones as well. Also more subtle pinks, though you can use the lighter or less bright pink hearts in this compact to achieve that look. The scent is lovely, not violet in the way I expected, smells like a lot of very expensive, high end stuff used to smell before scent was an such an issue. I actually have very sensitive, even reactive skin but trust the brand, have used it so many years. So for me as far as scent is concerned, I only hope my skin has no adverse reactions to it. Otherwise, wow, it really adds to how elegant a little blush can seem.

I basically got it free with my coupon and its a nice experience appreciating every aspect of a cosmetic item as well. Will update when I've used it more.

I have this along with Natural and Translucent. I posted a few pictures of this, a couple of them show it next to Natural just for reference. Overall, it gives a really nice glow and flush to my cheeks. It can be easy to overdo, so I make sure to use a light hand. The smell is a pleasant sweet floral. It has some shimmer, but not much of it shows up on the cheeks, which is a good thing to me. It is kind of expensive for a drugstore product, $13.99 at CVS, but it can be found for a great deal. I ended up getting two of the other colors for only 99 cents after coupons and extra bucks. Of course, the product is adorable.
