I did not like this product. Ordinarily, I like the non-waterproof version for a natural daytime look (it's not dramatic and so I wouldn't use it for going out at night, but it's so natural that I can wear it with no other eye makeup and it just looks like I have really big eyelashes). I thought the waterproof version would be good for summer, but I was wrong. The waterproof version smudged all over my eyes and looked a lot less natural than the non-waterproof. It also didn't lengthen or volumize as well, and made my lashes look a little too separated. It was unnatural. Plus, it really wasn't "waterproof" (which didn't stop it from being a pain in the neck to take off, even with eye makeup remover). I think the non-waterproof version is actually better at being waterproof, in addition to being a much nicer product. If you're considering a mascara in the Lash Blast line, get the non-waterproof version of this. It's great.

Growing up, it was always my brother who got complements like "Oh wow, your lashes are so long!" while I stood by, with average lashes that no one complemented. After using this, now they all say stuff like "Wow, I can see that beautiful lashes run in the family!" I love this stuff. Never will I use a different mascara. I never get clumps and it makes me look more awake. I only need two coats to make my eyelashes look fabulous. And it has stayed on in water perfectly, even through my 3 hour swim practice. 1 complaint: when trying to get it off, i loose a few lashes. But its all worth it.

I absolutely love this mascara! It stays on sooo well! Maybe it's just because I have long lashes, but it does make them even longer and thicker. They almost reach up to my eyebrows when I'm wearing it! I definatly reccommend it to everyone!

If you like hard rock eyelashes then this is the mascara for you. I'm not really into waterproof mascaras so I don't know why I bought this one. It did provide good volume for a drug-store mascara but it was hard to get off! I lost a few eye lashes in the process!

I've had this for a while and was kind of undecided on it, until this weekend. To make a very long story short, I have straight asian lashes, so I curled them applied 2 coats and this mascara lasted through a beach day, quick shower (my goal was to keep the mascara intact), sleep and work the next day. It is amazing. If you need a long lasting mascara, this is it.

I love how black and thick this makes my lashes look. At times it does make them look thin and separated, though. My ONLY problem is that it's really hard to wash off. And that's a really big annoying problem. Won't repurchase.

I thought this mascara was good initially. However, after a few weeks, made my lashes dry and my eyes irritated. I think there is some chemical in this that should not be near my eyes!!
It doesn't clump and looks natural, so it gets a 3. Otherwise, I would opt for more expensive more natural/organic mascara that are not so irritating to the eyes.

So I believe that this mascara is expensive for CG brand and as a drugstore brand but in reality, it delivers. I am talking about really thick lashes. My lashes are long but very fine. This is comparable to Dior mascaras to me. It stays and I am talking about sticking to my lashes to the point that it does not let go when cleansing with a wp eye mu remover. I found Maybelline wp eye mu remover was the only thing that combated this. The most important benefit to this mascara is that it does not flake. I love Maybelline Colossal but it flaked. I also love Revlon Grow Lashes but the WP version is not as good as this product. Highly recommended if you want major dramatic eye lashes.

I love Covergirl mascaras and I needed a waterproof version for the summer so I picked up the lashblast volume in blackest black. You can definitely tell that the texture of the mascara is different because it is very wet and has a different scent to it. It does a better job volumizing the lashes but when I went into the pool, it didn't stay on for long. When I looked in the mirror, there was some excess and the extra blackest to my lashes was gone. The only pro about that experience is that it kept my lashes in place so there was still some mascara. Next time, I will try a different brand for waterproof mascara so I can compare.

Cover Girl Lashblast Volume did not meet my expectations. I found that it went on gloppy and after just a few hours started dropping specks of dried mascara around my eyes. Even tried wiping the wand before applying, but that did not help. It does thicken the appearance of lashes - but not worth the messy look later. In contrast Lashblast Length formula is very clean.

There is a reason why everyone is raving about it. It really does give nice Volume, length not so much. It doesn't smudge at all. The brush fails you for the very outer and inner lashes, though, because its not pointed, but rather cut off. However for the price, it's an awesome mascara.

I did not like this mascara at all, and it was the first makeup I've thrown in the garbage after only a couple uses. The formula was very wet that it took a while to dry and it did not hold a curl for me. It did add a little bit of volume, but not what I was looking for.

Gives very natural lashes, but it's really hard to get off! Keeps your lashes curled though, and it does make them more voluminous.

Didn't care for this at all. I buy waterproof because I think it's great for warmer weather and sewating. This product left me with racoon eyes on a 60 degree day. Maybelline makes far better mascara's.

Doesn't clump on my lashes, lasts all day long. Wore to a funeral and even with tears it didn't budge one bit. Only drawback would be it is hard to remove and sometimes messy to apply.

First off, I don't use the waterproof formula. (I have oily skin and the non-waterproof stays put) This mascara just proves to me, once again, that you only need to look at your nearest drugstore for great makeup. Prior to this mascara, I was trying out Diorshow, which does nothing for my lashes. It lengthens, doesn't clump, but does not give me the big bold flirty lashes that I want. Lashblast Volume does all of that. Plus, it holds a curl ALL day. Diorshow makes my lashes go flat in a couple of hours or less. The brush on Lashblast Volume is a barrel shape with small little rubber bristles. The short bristles are great for catching those tiny lashes that would otherwise be overlooked. You can also coat many times (10-15) before your lashes start to clump. I go coat crazy sometimes just because I can. I can't say enough about this mascara. I love it!

I used to love this mascara, I used it a couple of years ago, but I keep switching to find something that seperates well. I went back to this last year and I don't know what happened, but it clumps now!!! It goes on for the first coat, but it isn't buildable at all. and bc its waterproof, very difficult to remove. I stopped using it cuz i'd lose some lashes in the cleaning process I don't know what happened. Will not be repurchasing.

Goes on thick and goopy and smears by midday. Yick, Yuck.
Someone should bring back waterproof lash tints!
