I just bought this product, and I can easily say that it's the WORST mascara I ever tried. I have very long and dark eyelashes, so I do not need that much mascara. But this mascara made my lashes look like spider legs without applying even that much. I got some of these crumbs on my lashes when I tried to apply more.
Cheaper mascara's are way better than this one. If you have short, light lashes, I would not recommend this. It makes your lashes look like spider legs, and way too crumbly.'

I've heard excellent reviews on this, so i bought it & i can honestly say, it's the worst mascara i've ever tried. It's clumpy & just a black mess. Yes, it's very black, but all it did was stick my lashes together. The brush is awful as well, i found it very flimsy. I prefer the Maybelliene Colossal or One by One anyday.

I got this because its getting to be time to replace my favorite mascara, Loreal Voluminous, and because I like the lashes in the posted pictures on here. I My goal with mascara is volume more than length. This certainly gives volume and a bit of length. It holds a curl really well too. Unfortunately, its really stiff and leave the lashes crispy like all the other Volume Express mascaras. It flakes a little too, but mostly because I was touching my lashes. The formula is also very clumpy and if I use a lash comb it cause the lashes to stick together too much. I've heard people like it more after its aged a couple of weeks, so I'll hold on to it to see if I like it more, but I think its still going to be too crispy for my liking.

I see a lot of reviews saying that the mascara is super wet and clumps, and I agree it's like that at the beginning. I've had this for about 1 - 2 months, and I hated it when I first got it. I put it away and didn't use it for a while. A few weeks later I used it and it seemed to improve, and I've heard that you should give it time. Right now, I'm just waiting for it to become better. I have the washable type. Comes off easy, but use the right tools else it'll get in your eye. I bought this in Black/Brown, which I regret a bit. My lashes are pure black, so I might go back and get the waterproof type in blackest black.
Overall opinion : It's a good mascara, if you give it time.
10/23/12 - Threw it away today. It was decent, don't get me wrong, but it was taking up space in my makeup bag.

I don't care for this mascara, It was very clumpy and dry in some places and overly wet in some places. It came on and my lashes stuck together. It dried fast and came on easily, But the wand was a bit clumpy as well. I like the tube, wand, and packaging but the product disappointed me, Nothing of what i was expecting, wouldn't buy this again unless there is no other option.

Worst mascara i have used in atleast the last 5 years. Clumpy hard to get off and your lashes stick together. Does not do anything but cake on black residue would never buy again .

This is a review for the WATERPROOF one. Anyway, it's one of my go-to mascaras on the market. I really think itís a waste of money to invest in high end mascaras since they dry out so fast. These run for about $6-7. My lashes are the typical short, stubby and straight asian lashes. These give me volume and length and that makes me happy :D Itís a bit tough to get off but nothing like the cover girl lash blast one (that stuff gets CEMENTED onto my lashes)

I was hoping this was going to give me the beautiful, dramatic fake lashes look that Dior and Apple mascaras give me, this mascara gave me instead spidery, clumpy lashes a la Tammy Faye Baker, so if you're going for that look, this is the mascara for you. Not a fan on how they look on anyone's eyelashes on MUA pictures either.
EDIT: well, this mascara dried a little and now it works like a charm, gives me the same look of Apple mascara and Diorshow, the brown/black is beautiful and the formula is better than the super black one.

This mascara sould not marketed as a "volumizing mascara" , it does no such thing. It clumps, if there was an award for most clumpy mascara this one would win.I do not like the look of very clumpy long emo looking eyelashes like some beauty gurus have, now that doesn't mean I don't like mascara I do, but this stuff is just horrible. It makes your lashes look fake if that is what you like, I don't prefer it but like the advertising says it make them look fake. The formula is very wet, so a TON of product gets on your eyes and weighs them down which is not comfortable at all. This is more of a lengthing mascara, in my opionion, but thats how I feel,I wouldn't waste your money.I also don't nderstand what the hype is about but okay.I also don't like the brush either it is not rubber, and the hairs or fibers shed ALOT and it gets in my eyelashes and I try to get it out and the mascara already on my eyes just gets everywhere on my face and it is very frusrating. But on the brigt side the purple tube is adorable!

This is an awesome mascara! I have naturally long eyelashes, and this really accentuated them. The mascara itself is quite thick so it makes makes your eyelashes more voluminous without making them bulky. The brush is very nice, I prefer the curved brushes so I was pleasantly surprised when this had one. The only real problem I see with this mascara is that I have trouble getting it off, it makes kind of a mess.

I like the original Falsies formula, so I decided to give this a try since you can't go wrong with more drama (for lashes). The brush is the same as the original and I do like the spoon brush, but that's where the things I like stop with this mascara. It is terrible. It goes on really gloppy and messy, clumping lashes together. It doesn't lengthen or volumize or curl - it just makes for dark, spidery lashes. Despite the wet formula, it dries really quickly, so when you try to work a lash comb through, those clumps turn into a mess of crumbs everywhere. This mascara is one of the worst I've used. I didn't even throw it in the back of the old makeup drawer - it went into the trash after a few trial uses.

It's easier to do several mascara reviews at once since I purchased them at the same time and tested them at the same time :)
- I have typical thin, black, short and pointing down asian eyelashes.. I've been looking for a mascara that will lengthen AND hold my curled lashes..
Maybeline Volume Express The Colossal Waterproof:
Best out of the 3 I have here, holds curled lashes slightly, lengthens up to 50% longer. Doesn't thicken my lashes a lot though.
Maybelline The Falsies Black Drama:
Lengthens my lashes a lot, tiny tiny bit longer than the Colossal Waterproof above, does not hold my curls at all. Thickens my lashes a bit more than the Colossal.
Boots 17 Wild Curls Waterproof Mascara:
Had high expections for this mascara, doesn't hold curled lashes at all, can see them drooping back down into original position immediately after applying. Lengthens a lot, up to 50%. Thickens lashes more than The Falsies Black Drama. Overall, just like your typical mascara - in my opinion.

This mascara I used to HATE with a passion. It was too wet, clumpy (not in a good way), and the applicator was just annoying. So it say in a box for a few months. One day I was tired of one mascara that I was using so I put this on. Now after a few months, I can honestly say I really like it. I don't know what it is, it just really works. I can get full volume with only a little bit of product, if I feel like spending more time on my lashes I can get an even better look, maybe a few months of sitting was all it needed. However I can't do that all the time. I would repurchase this, but in a water proof formula. When you apply any sort of moister to you lashes, this sticks together and looks horrible.

OMG! This mascara is so so so good. I would recommend it to some on that had shorter lashes because it will make you look like you have longer lashes. Even though I don't have very short lashes it still works very good .
Age: 19-24 Skin: Oily, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
This is my favorite drugstore mascara. It gives beautiful length and fullness without flaking or clumping. On already long lashes, it will look like fake lashes.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Blond Eyes: Grey
I used to be a faithful lancome girl for all things lashes but theses mascaras run upwards of $20. So, after reading the reviews on falsies, I decided to give it a try hoping that I would find comparable results for a fraction of the price. I am officially converted! The packaging isn't the best since the adapter that wipes the excess product of the wand as you pull it out sometimes comes out but the product itself is phenomenal. I am constantly blushing because people get up in my face to admire my lashes and Im not used to the spotlight. Save yourself $15 and go watch a movie, you won't regret it!!!!

Easily the worst drug-store mascara on the market.. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My best friend and I are probably the only ones that like clumpy lashes.. but these make your eyelashes really sparse and dry looking. They don't really volumize your lashes, they just darken them. I haven't really noticed any flaking. but I just don't like how this mascara make them appear dry, separated, and unnatural. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

This is officially my new favorite mascara. Trust me, this is a hard title to earn. I have semi-long thin lashes. Not much volume at all. I've always found it hard to find a mascara that lengthens and also adds some bulk to my lashes without making them look ugly and clumpy.
I'd heard plenty of mixed reviews on this product. Mascara depends on each person just because we all have different types of lashes, just like how we all have different hair types. For me thin lashes, this mascara helped bulk up my lashes and made them look more separated and doll like. This does wonders for my lashes. Love, love, LOVE!

I really wanted to love this product but i just cant. It makes my eyes burn. The falsies does live up to it name though it makes my eyelases look so long and it doesnt flake on me. But when i go to wash it off it doesnt come all the way off. I wake up in the morning i have a little left under my eyes. I do keep using it because i dont like to waste product and money. But i should have read some reveiws first. I usally use the covergirl lash blast but my duaghter stuck it in my husbands tool bag and he threw it away when he got to work saying he didnt want the guys to see it and think it was his so now im stuck with this falsies crap

I really wanted to like this mascara, based on all the hype. I loved the effect it gave me (ie. great length, some nice spider-like volume) it did hold a curl, and ive yet to have had a mascara to smudge. My only gripe about this, is that it's probably one of the most flakey mascaras i've ever used! a few hours in, my eyelashes are almost bare again due to all the flaking. maybe i got an old tube? or maybe this mascara for me, is flake city!
