I really like this foundation! I use it whenever I am running late and need to do my makeup routine quickly. A little product goes a long way (hence, I am okay with the small bottle) and its great coverage, and can be applied quickly and easily. Feels more like a tinted moisturizer to me than a foundation. I also wear this to work a lot, and even though I'm on my feet all day, climbing stairs and ladders, it stays put! However, past the typical 9-6 shift, it will start fading, so this isn't a 24 hours foundation or anything. It is not my HG foundation (my HG is the Revlon Colorstay), and not my first choice of foundation especially for a long day, but it will do just fine in a pinch, hence the 4 lippies. I also have to blot my t-zone with this, but I have to blot with any foundation so that isn't an issue for me. Will repurchase.

Great foundation. Great for very natural coverage while still concealing acne effectively. Does not break me out and has a dewy finish. Comes in a squeeze tube which is great to avoid getting fingers in the product. However, it does transfer and must be set with powder

I really like this foundation. I saw a review for it on Youtube and with summer coming up, I decided to try a new foundation seeing as I ran out of my previous one (Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid.) It goes on very smoothly and it looks very natural. I would say it's medium coverage. It feels very lightweight and does not make me break out. I always set my foundations with a powder (Stila) because no matter what I do, my T-zone will be oily in the summer. I have very fair skin and honestly I should have purchased the lightest shade but I like pretending like I can get away with a shade darker, so I bought the next one down and it doesn't make me look like I have a mask on but it gives me color--which is great! I would recommend this for all skin types, especially combo skin. My skin can be oily and flakey in the same areas and this does not make me more oily or show my flakey spots at all. It is very gentle on the skin, VERY smoothing, feels luxurious when you put it on and makes your face look like a dewey, smooth, glowing canvas. I love it. Also I am usually drawn to anything that says "natural" on it because these products tend to not irritate my skin.

Overall I really like this foundation. I was looking for something new so I figured Id give this a try. I love te packaging. You can easily squeeze the right amount out with no mess. I still need to find the right shade, it's a little more on the pink side. The texture is great, it leaves my skin smooth and pretty silky. It provides pretty good coverage (I don't have too many blemishes to cover though, just a few red places and the occasional zit). It easy to apply with your fingers, but Yesterday I tried it with a foundation brush (basic brush from e.l.f.) and I loved it. It was like my skin was airbrushed. My only problem with it is that I have fairly oily skin so ten mins after I've put it on my face is shiny. It's supposed to leave a dewy finish so it's understandable. I use a little of the Covergirl Clean Oil Control pressed powder over it and it's perfect. Not my HG foundation but it does the job.

I have very dry skin, like so dry that I get dry patches on my t-zone even, so I always go for sheer skin-like foundations that moisturize my skin and leave it looking/feeling dewy but also cover some redness on m cheeks. And this foundation does exactly that for $7! My HG foundation is Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. This foundation is pretty much as good - maybe not as good when it comes to staying power - but the look of it is pretty much the same and for $43 less. Can't say enough about this foundation. My perfect match was flax. Thought it would be too light but it sheers out beautifully. Could probably go up a shade if I get more tan. Would definitely recommend, not just for dry skin either, I feel like all skin types could wear this.

I love everything but ONE thing about this product.

PROS:
-glides on as smooth as butter
-blends into skin so beautiful
-natural/dewy finish on my normal skin
-hydrates my skin
-my skin ACTUALLY looks like skin
-doesn't clog pores
-spf
-hides any redness or acne
-doesn't matter what you apply it with, it will still look flawless

CONS:
-begins to cake within 3 hours (doesn't have good lasting power at all)

So the lasting power is seriously only problem. It's really bad for some reason? Even with a primer it'll only last 4 hours on me without it looking incredibly horrible and blotchy.

But other than that, fantastic, and well definitely repurchase for special occasions when i'm not out for a long period of time! :)

First of all, I generally go for sheer foundations. Acne is a huge issue for me, so anything heavy really throws my skin out of whack. This foundation is a thick liquid which sheers out beautifully with a wet sponge. The color range is set up well enough that I found my perfect match (325), and when well blended this foundation is invisible. It take about thirty minutes for the opacity of the product to fade as it is absorbed into the skin- but from powdering on my face remains the same throughout the day. This is most comparable to the MUFE face and body out of the foundations in my collection, but is a better match to my skin and a fraction of the price. For $7 you really can't go wrong with this one. A definite restoration of my faith in drugstore makeup!

This is a very nice, light foundation. It as a light coverage, but it is buildable. It gives a really nice smooth finish that doesn't look cakey, and it is very moisturizing, almost like a TM. Its easy to apply in many ways too! I've used several different types of brushes to apply it, and my fingers as well. It does smell like cucumber which I love!! Some people may not like it though, but I think it's quite pleasant, and it does go away after you apply it. I like this foundation overall though!! It's a really nice every day foundation

I don't like the smell, at all. I don't know what it is, it just makes me want to sneeze. Haha, I don't know. Okay, well it stays on all day, but I couldn't find my shade. And it bothers me that it doesn't have a pump.

I want to start off by saying cover girl is my favorite makeup line because I've never had any breakouts or allergic reactions even though I have extremely sensitive skin. I jumped on the natural foundation. It has an interesting texture that blends very nicely. Although I have heard some complaints about the smell I find it rather nice after getting used to it. My one and only complaint is that most of the shades are too pink for my skin.

Ever since I started accutane, the makeup I had suddenly became awful because what's good for oily skin isn't good for dry skin. I needed something in the short term and I really wanted to avoid using a high end foundation if I'm only using it infrequently for a few months. When I tested it out, it seemed like a good fit since it's alcohol free and nondrying. I can tell it's a bad choice for oily skin, unless a moisturizer is skipped.

Finding a drugstore shade is always a challenge. 305 Alabaster is the lightest shade with pink undertones while next shade and 310 Flax and is significantly deeper with neutral to cool undertones. If you are pale with yellow undertones, you're completely out of luck. This is my biggest problem with drugstore brands: most pale shades are pink based even though most people have neutral to warm undertones. I bought 310 Flax and it's slightly too dark, but it's a much better match than 305 Alabaster.

As for how it works, it's seriously great for drier skin. I applied it with a Real Techniques angled foundation brush with no problem. It didn't emphasize flakes and gives sheer to medium coverage and a slightly dewy finish. It didn't cover acne spots, but it covered redness and uneven tone pretty well. It gave an airbrushed finish and never caked or sank into my pores as the hours passed. I'm positive if my skin were still oily, it would fade in a couple hours. Since my skin is drier, it lasts about 6 hours or so. I got it on sale for $10, but I believe it normally retails for $14 which is pretty pricey for drugstore brand. Finally, it has a light scent and not overpowering like a lot of high end foundations.

I bought this foundation thinking it would be great for my skin. Not so much. It's incredibly greasy, has barely any coverage, and I broke out so bad from it. For the 3 days I've used it, I've had to apply 2 layers just for minimal coverage; had to use a TON of pressed powder to de-grease, and then use what little powder foundation (different brand) I had left to actually get decent coverage. Never again. Worst foundation ever.

I was looking for natural looking makeup(drugstore) which in not oily as I have a very oily skin. After reading rave reviews for this product at various blogs, I thought this would work. Overall its average. Firstly it has pink undertones, I am a yellow undertone.. so off. Next, even though it felt silky smooth and easy to apply, matte finish in the beginning, it was super oily within an hour. This was really upsetting for me. With a very oily skin, this is the last thing I want. So I had to return it. It may work for dry skin though.

I like the coverage of this product it's not too heavy nor too light. What's great is that it has jojoba extract, cucumber water, and SPF 10. It has a slight smell but it doesn't bother me. I wouldn't recommend this for people with oily skin because I have oily skin myself and I look oily after using it.

I'm nw20 and got the shade sandstone, which is a little dark but you can't tell because it blends so well. I bought this around the winter time and I love it. Its a very silky feel and natural looking. I have alot of redness and it covers it up without ease(so I don't know why some say it has no coverage because it really does!) It feels great on the skin like your not wearing a foundation at all. The finish is not quite dewy but def not matte either. I use this on the outer of my face and my neutrogena healthy skin on the inner and lightly powder. I feel like this would be good for all skin types and is worth giving a try. I love the squeeze tube that it comes in as well, very sanitary and is easy to control how much product you get out unlike the neutrogena bottle.Overall a great foundation!

This gives a wonderfully dewy finish that covers my large pores and gives a natural but polished look. I prefer light to medium coverage and this does the job, it cleans up imperfections but it is not full coverage as some of my deeper acne scars are still visible. The color match was good (aspen), and it blends and wears nicely, no fading or oxidizing.

However for me, this product is just iffy as I have combination oily skin and a tendency to break out. Even when set with powder this makes my skin pretty oily midday, and I don't like to wear this daily because I think it makes my acne worse. Usually I have only a few zits a month, mostly hormonal, but when I wear this I get little tiny bumps and zits on my cheeks. After checking a comedogenic list, this product does contain sodium chloride (salt), which is not so acne friendly. I'm also very sensitive to smell, and I find the cucumber water scent to this to be yucky and fake smelling. If it didn't make me so oily or aggravate my acne, I would definitely give this product a five. So beware - the coverage is wonderful, but if you're oily or acne prone, be careful with this foundation.

EDIT:
I'm going from 4 to 2 lippies, it's just too greasy and it definitely makes my skin more breakout prone. Not worth it.

I loved it! I have combination skin, with tendencies to break out but this product really helps cover redness and uneven skin tone. I use a concealer over it and it works together perfectly. It blends super easily so it doesn't actually look like you're wearing any foundation. It also has an SPF in it, which is awesome since most people tend to forget to put that on.
The only con might be the price, I got it at Shoppers for around $15 I think, for a drugstore brand that's basically tinted moisturizer, it's a little pricey. But for me it's worth it, I'd buy it again!

I've been searching for a new foundation ever since my favorite (L'Oreal Infallible) is no longer available in my city. I have very dry and very oily (combination) skin that looks really flakey in most foundations. Revlon Colorstay made my skin so dry it burned.
I picked this up thinking it wouldn't be any good but also that it wouldn't hurt to try and I was seriously surprised. My face is sun-burnt and dry right now and I needed a very small amount to cover the redness. It also left no flakey patches. I love it. It's the perfect color for me as well.
The only issue I have is the size...it's pretty small.
