Favorite scent... Wore it on my wedding day. Fresh and floral... perfect. Stays on all day... Even all of my jackets and scarves hold the scent... Love it.

Pretty floral fragrance, but nothing remarkable or new. It's definitely feminine and has decent staying power (lasts all through a workday), but it's not my favorite by any means. it's a pretty "safe" perfume that IMO doesn't stand out.

I bought this in a wedding-planning frenzy. I thought, "Man, it's freaking Vera Wang. What could be more bridal than that for my wedding day?" After test-driving Vera Wang for a few days, my (now) husband begged me to wear my everyday CSP Vanille Abricot. Don't get me wrong; this doesn't smell bad, but it's just... there.

The packaging is pretty and sophisticated though, and the scent is lovely, just not me, apparently.

Vera Wang is a pretty fragrance indeed, and I have enjoyed sampling it. However, it is just not memorable enough for me to commit to a full bottle. No, it's not boring like the smell of toilet paper, per se. It's far from that. It's just that, well, hmmmm... I know...Vera Wang just lacks the special quality that makes a perfume attractive enough for me to want to add it to my collection. I'll have fun using up the sample though...

I mom got me this giftset for Christmas as well as the Tova TSV giftset from QVC. Tova is (or should I say was) my HG fragrance. I am one of the many folks who are disgruntled with the change of what used to be a lovely, feminine, and sultry fragrance. At first I was disappointed that my mom got me a non-Tova gift for Christmas, but after spraying it I fell in love. It is so feminine and non-cloying. I didn't get a headache so that's a major plus for me because I tend to be really sensitive to fragrances. It doesn't have a musk to it like Tova does, but I really like it. Some reviewers have said that it's just an ordinary floral, but it actually is different because it is a green scent mixed with a hint of fruit. This is a fragrance perfect for everyday wear, even in the office. I will be purchasing this again in the future (or asking mom to add this to the traditional Christmas gift list in place of Tova).

My BF gave me Vera Wang for Christmas and I love it. I would describe the scent as a subtle yet beautiful fruity floral with light powdery undertones of soft rose, gardenia, perhaps magnolia too, musk and warm woods. He chose it because I love gentle rose petals and fresh gardenia petals, my two favorite flowers.

I bought this because I was looking for a "work" fragrance, i.e. one that is light and inoffensive and won't cause my workmates to gag. This is certainly light and inoffensive, and also I feel it suits a late twenties/early thirties age group. It's definately womanly, but not sickly sweet and girlish, and isn't powdery or matronly either. It's a grown up scent, but it isn't sexy. dramatic or evening-y. That said, it's also not very distinctive. I also wear Jean Paul Gaultier and that's immediately recogniseable. This isn't. It could be any pleasant fragrance. But JPG is far too strong for daytime so the search continues for a day scent. I would rebuy as it's a good reliable scent that could take you from an office to a wedding, but I haven't fallen in love.

I like this scent. It is very clean and flowerey. It does not seem to last on me very long, but most do not. This is my 2nd VW scent, it also is timeless and not too trendy.

To me it is quite a mediocre scent. It has a weird mix of watery and powdery floral smell, a bit like cosmetic loose powder, clean but not in a pleasant way. It also lacks levels of development to be called a classic. I cannot quite associate it with wedding ceremony as I feel it is a bit emotionless and way too plain. If I have to choose a clean, princess type of scent for my wedding, I will definitely choose my beautiful Tiffany Pure instead because Pure is much more radiant and joyful to match the mood and the atmosphere for the very special day.

A modern classic. This is a very clean white floral fragrance. Has a very pretty bottle. Unfortunately, this just does not go with my chemistry.

I love this perfume - it's very feminine & fresh along with scents of white florals. I started wearing this on my wedding day, and every sniff of it reminds me of the happiness I felt that day, as well as during my honeymoon. I received it as a gift along with a body wash and a mini travel size that's a replica of the big bottle, and is filled with a gel fragrance version of the big one. The bottle is very pretty too, and looks beautiful along with my other fragrances.

My favorite fragrance. I have been wearing it for about 5 yrs now. I wore EL Pleasures in the solid stick for a couple of years before this. VW is less sweet than ELP which I like. I have purchased the spray in VW but have the roller ball now which I like alot because I can really control where I put it and it has excellent staying power.

Vera Wang Parfum is definitely a modern, sensual, and romantic scent - a classic without smelling like your grandmother's perfume.

When I first put a couple of dabs of the parfum on my wrists and behind my earlobes, it reminded me of Lancôme's Trésor at first smell - very romantic with beautiful floral notes of gardenia and cala lily. I love this scent and a small little parfum bottle will last you forever!

I absolutely adore this. Don't go for this if you're looking for an unique or strong scent; this is just soapy and clean with a hint of flowers. For the time when I just want to smell naturally good and not too special, like fresh laundry, I choose VW. I also like Philosophy's Amazing Grace and this is somewhat similar.

This is my Mom's favourite fragrance, and while I am not a feminine-floral type, I really like the scent on her. It smells like gardenias and flowers with some aquatic notes in there. It smells clean and floral and not chemical.

When I was a teen I went through many bottles of a drugstore cologne called Les Fleurs Du Soleil. It was a fresh green-white floral with a citrus heart and I loved it, it was my original HG. There were also bath cubes and soaps and dusting powder in the line. It became unavailable and I have never stopped looking for it, and have never found it anywhere - not even reference to it. Or anything like it!

Then today I stumbled upon the unassuming bottles of the Vera Wang scents. I decided to try this one first as it seems to be the 'original'. I tried it on cardboard and loved it immediately. It only took a little while for me to realize why - it's an almost-perfect dead ringer for Les Fleurs Du Soleil! Seriously, it was like coming home again. There is little better in this world than to be reacquainted with something that you have truly missed. This is such a gorgeous sparkling floral, I wish I had tried Vera much sooner, and hope that it smells as nice on my skin! And lasts!

I bought a bottle of this after I stopped a woman to ask her what perfume she was wearing. Oddly, I seem to really like florals on other people (I recently told a woman she smelled wonderful and she was wearing Pleasures by Lauder) but I cannot wear them myself. They give me a headache.

On the right person, this is a light, blooming clean floral fragrance that wafts through the air making you want to chase it wherever it goes.

EDIT: My friend was wearing this last night and I was drooling over how wonderful she smelled--she had this wonderful halo of clean femininity around her. If I had been a man, I would have surely been seduced right there.

Average price, average packaging. But, oh how I love this fragrance. I'm a strict devotee of Oscar de la Renta, with a tilt towards Ralph by Ralph Lauren. I tried this on a whim and I wasn't the least bit disappointed.




It's such a lovely daytime fragrance, but it also carries over well for evening use. Everytime I wear it, I get compliments. The one note I have is to add a bit more than you think. It doesn't have amazing staying power, but it's such a pleasant smell - I don't mind reapplying.

My husband just bought this fragrance and I cannot believe how great he smells....it is intoxicating and has definately rekindled the romance. I love a man that smells like a man warm, sexy strong
