If you want this product to give you dense-looking lashes, then you will most likely be disappointed. What I have found, is that this product, separates and lengthens on a lash-by-lash basis, giving you a very lush, long look, but not quite dense.
My only problem with this product is that I can never seem to apply this without getting any on my eyelid, but I din't thinks that's a very big deal. When I layer 3 coats on, I achieve the perfect long lash look that gives the effect of a fiber extension without the flaking.
All-in-all, as a mascara optimist, I would say that this is a very good store brand, well worth the $8 I paid for it.

This is a great all around mascara that does not iritate my eyes. It separates and lengthens. The wand is designed to keep only a certain amount of mascara on each bristle making the application process perfect. The color I chose was black. I will buy this again. A great basic mascara that works for me.
Ophthalmologist and allergy tested.
Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. (love this)
Cleans up easily ( no redness on eyes from rubbing )
After two weeks it started to dry out and flake a bit (time for a replacement I guess)

I love most loreal mascaras and this is no exception....it lengthens, separates, doesn't clump and voluminizes. Definitely repurchasing in the future.....A++++++

EDIT: I don't know if they changed the formula, but this seems much more FLAKEY. I'm so sad. I have to find a new mascara. I've been using this product for about two years now. This is my all time favorite mascara. I don't understand why you would ever spend more than this 7 dollar mascara that does exactly what a 20 dollar mascara does. My sister and I both swear by this stuff. I've tried so many different brands but you can't go wrong with l'oreal mascaras.

This is the absolute perfect mascara. Lengthens, gives volume, wears well. It's my all time favorite mascara. I WOULD repurchase if they didn't test on animals... :-/

My favorite drugstore mascara is the L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara. It's in a gold tube with black font. It really makes my lashes look full, volumized, lengthened, and separated. And theirs hardly ever any clumps on the brush! It costs around $7 at most drugstores, but I believe it's worth the price. I would definitely give it a try! :)

I had been using voluminous in carbon black. This was on sale, and I like how it has the little thing so it doesn't come out of the tube with too much mascara. Works very well, no globs of mascara at the end of the wand. It gives very defined lashes, never clumpy (at least on me) and I usually put 2 coats. No problems with flaking or smudging. Great mascara! For me it works even better than voluminous.

This is the best mascara I have ever used. I thought Maybellines the Collosal and Estee Lauder's More than Mascra were on the best on the market and gave me false looking lashes but this is amazing even just one coat on uncurled lashes the effect is amazing.

This mascara took forever to dry, clumped my eyelashes and gave me raccoon eyes.

I have naturally long eye lashes that I do not have to curl and I have tried many upon many drug-store versions and i LOVE this stuff. It creates the "spider" eye lash look that I want. It doesnt smear on my face like other cheap masceras do.

I read it was good, liked the gold tube (packaging sucker) but the plastic brush is worthless.
I use the med for lashes and they are long but not thick and I don't find this helps for any fullness. Just darkens what I have. Not worth the money, even if it's cheap. Or the single rating, tried to leave a zero.

Although I find this and other L'Oreal mascaras to be okay, I have never understood the hype they receive from some make up gurus. They have decent brushes and coat the lashes however they don't really make mine more voluminous or curl more. However, to be honest I find few HG mascaras out there - I like Tarte's, Light, Camera Action masacara and They're Real by Benefit (although it seems to dry out uber fast) - good mascara's are just hard to find. However, for a DS mascara I always end up going back to Cover Girl's Lash Blast.

Although it doesn't stand up to my beloved Lash Blast, I really enjoyed this mascara. I love rubber brush mascaras and the stopper on Voluminous Million dispenses the perfect amount of product. I found that to get the best results, I had to rotate the brush from the base of my lashes to the tips and then apply a few coats as usual. Overall, this mascara gives beautiful length and separation, but not much in the way of volume and curl - I would maybe buy it again if I was in a pinch.

I love this mascara so much! It's my go to and I recommended it to everyone. It's actually very buildable, which I like. It looks great with just one coat, but I can make my lashes huge with about 2.5 coats (the last one I do just the tips). If you haven't yet, go out and buy this today.

Ok what's up with you Guys? This is like the best Mascara ever!! You'll just need a second one with it :) It lengths soo much especially with blinc mascara on. I would buy this again i love it soo much!

This mascara was just ok. Nothing special, gives a clean and defined look.
When I tried to build it up in layers it started to look very odd, the tips of my lashes got all messy and stuck together. I hate that!
If you want a natural look you'd probably like this but for more drama go for something else.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette, Curly, Medium Eyes: Brown
On its own this mascara isn't that special. It doesn't add anything in the way of volume. It creates very defined dark lashes.
However, by combining this with L'Oreal Voluminous, the results are spectacular. Put on Voluminous first to get volume, then go over it with millions to get definition. My eyelashes look almost like falsies with this combo. HG.

Why the low ratings? This is a really good product.. I have had nothing but trouble w/ maybelline mascaras. This is Voluminzing and lengthening perfection! Held my curl all day. No clumping even after multiple coats. I like the tube and wand (unlike some of these fat neon mascara tubes that look as big as a super tampon). Extremely pleased for an inexpensive drug store mascara. My only request is that they would make this is more colors -brown/blk or burgandy or navy. As with any mascara alot of it is in the application so take your time! Two thumbs up.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Very Oily, Fair Hair: Brunette Eyes: Blue
For a mass-market mascara, this is surprisingly good. The tube is lovely and fat and the brush is skinny, so you can coat your bottom lashes without stabbing yourself in the eye. Okay, it doesn't make you look like you have a million lashes but it does a great job at emphasizing what you have there already.
My fave mascara is is Lancome Hypnose but this is a much cheaper good-quality alternative for when I just can't justify the splurge.

I got this to replace my other non-waterproof mascara that was getting old and crusty. I'd actually give this a four overall, but a 3 for what it's claimed as because I didn't find it to be that volumizing. That said, it is a nice lengthening mascara that doesn't clump or flake. Good enough, though next time I will probably try something new again.
