I have had this for quite some time now as the one I got came with the dual end pencil eyeliners whiskey and zero. What can I say except that the eyeshadows are top notched: very buttery and pigmented and of couse beautiful. The only con I have about it is the packaging, as the faux fur gets dirty very easily.

Will I repurchase it? Probably no as I have way too many eyeshadows and the eyeshadows can be easily duplicated by other brands. UD products are also expensive in Singapore. This palette now costs $80. This is the only naked palette I have as I cannot justify buying any more neutral palettes and I actually prefer my Lorac pro palette over this for travelling as its thinner.

Why I took so long to buy this palette is beyond me! I am in LURVE! Pigmentation, color payoff, shadow quality, all excellent! Love that it comes with a small tube of UDPP and a fairly decent brush. I can see how the packaging could get tattered over time, but really, as long as the shadows are in tact, that's what matters. Even though it's $50, it's worth it and I would definitely purchase again.

I absolutely love this palette!! I like the variety of neutral colors because you can make many different looks from them. The pigmentation of the shadows is outstanding, especially when using a primer! They last all day for me and look great. I'm very happy with this purchase and I know I'll be using it a lot.

I was really late to hop onto the Urban Decay bandwagon, I don't like to just buy a palette because it's new and there's a lot of talk around the beauty community about it.

I already had the Naked 2 palette, which I use quite often and love, but I was still really keen to get my hands on the original, because of the more warm tones of the shadows which I feel would compliment the undertones of my skin (I have warm undertones).

I really love this palette - I feel like the two matte brown shades make it way more complete than the Naked 2.
The quality of the shadows is phenomenal - wouldn't expect anything less from UD, but still, just great.
I really need shadows to last all day, and these definitely live up to my all-day expectations!

Also worth noting that the consistency of every shade is just so smooth, and doesn't make my very dry eye area/eyelids feel dry, which is excellent.

Taking points off for the lack of accessibility, and for the packaging - I live in Australia and so I had to buy it online. Also the one I got was a bit sloppy in make, the names of the shadows are cut off by the shadow pans. But other than that, A+!

I loved it! I use different brushes, and wet brushes and with primer it stays forever and colors are truly brilliant, I use it for my eyebrows too. You can get day look and night look with this pallette

Although I gave this product 4 stars and I think it will greatly suit someone and I like quality of eyeshadows, but.. I only used 4 colors on everyday basis. so for me it would be better to but it separately. I used light color to highlight and there was medium brown there I used for eyebrows, one with a little purple in it I really liked for dark contouring... I like the quality and how it blends but i wish I would use most of the colors... not buying a pallette again

I bought this as a gift to self present recently, but sadly I am in the minority with this one and had to return it. I do have VERY oily lids, which is the likely culprit that caused my unhappiness with this product. Overall, the shadows were super pigmented and I loved the color selection (though maybe a pinkish nude would have been nice to add rather than some of the whiter shades). They applied nicely too and would last forever as you did not have to use much of the shadow to get a strong color payoff. The accompanying brush was just ok. The problem I had was that even trying different eyeshadow primers, the color simply did not last for me. I either had extensive creasing or the color smudged arond my eyes throughout the day. For those with drier lids, I can see where this would be a fantastic palette, but, it just was not for me.

I love this pallet, it can truly be used everyday for neutral to bold looks. I find the shadows are pigmented but all seem to have fall out, and the more shimmery and glittery, the more they seem to flake. This doesn't take away from the pallet just something to know before applying. Over all UD shadows are high quality, they blend easy and I have used this pallet many many times and still haven't hit pan on any of the shades. In my opinion well worth the money.

I love this palette! It's amazing and for the price it's actually a great value considering the pigmentation and quality of the shadows. Most of the shadows are shimmery and only 2 are matte. I think this is best for warm toned skin. I wish there was a few more mattes that were darker but other than that it's a great palette, a must have I believe. Stopped me from purchasing a ton of single shadows from another brand. It practically has everything you need. Neutrals are wonderful and never look bad so I encourage anyone to get this!

If I could only use one eyeshadow palette for the rest of my life, it would be this one. Cannot say enough good things about it! There is a fantastic range of colors and finishes, so you can create anything from a neutral matte eye for work to a dark shimmery smoky eye for night. The color payoff is fantastic -- I have tan South Asian skin & sometimes have a problem with getting eyeshadow colors to show up if I don't use a white base underneath, but most of these colors show up great (although Virgin & Sin do require some building up before they show up as much as I want them to). The shadows also blend beautifully without blending into one another too much and getting muddy. I've noticed a little undereye/cheek fallout from the shimmery colors, but nothing that can't be brushed away easily. The price is high, but you get a lot of product (plus a primer and a decent shadow brush - not the throwaway kind that comes with many palettes). I don't think it will be running out anytime soon, but if it ever does, I would definitely buy it again!

This is my absolute favorite eye shadow palette. I will keep buying this again & again. Though luckily it seems to last a very long time for me. In my opinion, neutral eye shadow is the way to go. You can create many different looks using this palette. Beautiful colors, & very versatile.

I absolutely lovvveeee my Naked palette. I more so use the first half of the palette because I enjoy subtle smokey eyes oppose to the intense black or dark shadows. If anything, I like to use the dark shadows to smoke out my lower lash line. My favs are def Virgin (inner tear duct) and Naked (transition/crease). The shadows are so buttery and smoothe, def top notch quality.

The quality of these shadows far surpasses the rest of Urban Decay's. I have multiple UD palettes, and while I like them, most of the colors are quite ho hum in terms of finish and pigmentation. Not these babies! Smooth, rich, pigmented. True to pan. My current HG brow shade (Hustle), as well as great colors for either a neautal look or a great smokey eye. The only think missing is a good matte black/gray. I reach for this alot more than I thought I would. It really has given me an appetite for more neutral looks. And now I want Naked2...

I absolutely love this product. I'm always on the search for a duo or quad that I can use on a daily basis for a natural look, and this is the only thing I'll ever need! I love having a variety of colors in easy packaging, and the quality of the shadows is excellent. Some of the shimmers have more fallout than I'd like (especially compared to the matte neutrals), but it isn't enough to deter me from using them.

The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the brush. I experience a LOT more fallout when using it, as I didn't feel the shadow was really adhering to the brush. I ended up using one of my Sephora brushes and haven't had a problem. The brush provided is really soft, but just not up to the best quality.

Was very sceptical about buying this due to the price and I worried that it was going to be overrated.
However, I love this product especially after watching lots of tutorials on YouTube. Many of which the channel owners cannot praise this palette enough.

The shades complement my light eyes and fair skin perfectly and are subtle enough to wear as a natural look when going to school/college.
For a night out, it is easy to make your eyes pop by blending a few colours together - this product can be used day or night.

The mini primer is a god send because shadows usually slide off my lids due to them being oily.

Definitely recommend as it is so versatile with the look you can produce.

I've reviewed here the Naked palette, close up pictures and swatches, but I have also compared it with Nude'tude palette from the Balm. Which one is better? See in my blog post.

I finally got my hands on the Urban Decay Naked Palette when family gave it to me as a gift for Christmas this past year. I wanted the original Naked over Naked 2 because the shades in Naked 2 are much more cool toned and I have cooler skin and when you pair cool and cool together I find it looks too icy. Warm shades definitely compliment my skin better. The palette comes with 12 full size shadows and this product is $60 in Canada equalling exactly $5 per shadow and on top of that you get a blush and a travel sized primer! That is amazing value for money in my opinion since these are super high quality eyeshadows and Covergirl singles at the drugstore can cost more than $5 each. Of course the outright cost is expensive but if you break it down you really get a great deal since the eyeshadows are full size and the full size singles that Urban Decay make are $18! I have done a full review on MUA on the primer potion that comes in this palette and the primer that comes alone and there is definitely a formulation difference- I'm not a huge fan of the travel primer since I find it a bit greasy and it really doesn't add THAT much to wear time. As well the brush that comes with this palette is unfortunately super crappy. It doesn't pick up shadows well nor does it blend them well. But I personally didn't buy this palette for the primer or brush, I bought it for the shadows...
This palette contains some of the most beautiful eyeshadows I have ever seen in my entire life and there are all colours that I would pick for myself. There is so much versatility you can get from a palette like this- all the colours are very noticeably different but can work together beautifully. There are 2 completely matte shades in this palette (Naked and Buck) and the rest are shimmery. The lightest shade Virgin though which you would use for highlighting is not exactly matte but its not shimmery either, its more frosty though to me it wouldn't look out of place in a matte look. There are 3 lighter shades in this palette, 4 medium shades and then 5 deeper shades. This palette also has a nice variety of neutrals and browns and then pinks and greys which you wouldn't really think are 'naked' but are. My favourite shades in this palette are the two matte ones, Naked and Buck and then Sin and Half-Baked. Gun Metal is also a wicked grey tone that I love but isn't one I personally use as often as the others. These shadows are also incredibly pigmented. It is literally insane. When I was swatching the shadows on my fingers to get a better look at them to write this review it really hit me how you only need to lightly pat the shadow to get a massive blast of colour- this of course means that you won't go through the shadows as quickly cause you won't have to keep dipping your brush back in the shades to grab more pigment. The lasting time of these shadows is slightly above average...I find I can wear them on a night out without having them crease but if I am at a concert or a place that is very humid and sweaty for a long period of time these will start to crease slightly but it never is that noticeable. I can't comment on the lasting time of the shadows without primer since I never ever wear shadow without primer- my eyelids are way too oily for that. The only thing that I dislike about the shadows is that there is a nice amount of fallout with these shadows. If you don't wear face makeup then just use a q-tip under your eyes after but if you do then make sure you either do your eye makeup before foundation and concealer or don't set your foundation or concealer with powder until your eye look is done so you can clean up after.
These eyeshadows come in a really beautiful velvety brown case that has NAKED written across the top in gold print. When you open up the casing, it has a small mirror in the lid which isn't really useful and on the bottom are where are the shadows are lined up in beautiful strips. As I said before, this palette comes with a shadow brush and a primer and there is a slot for the brush but not for the primer. Overall I really, really love this palette. All of the shades are absolutely beautiful, pigmented and are good for day to day use and for a big night out. These shadows will flatter every skin tone that ever existed and really are the staple shadows the everyone should own. I highly recommend this palette and am so happy to finally have one of my own.
