Don't get me wrong, I do love MAC, alot, but on the mascara front I think they could do alot better. I've found countless highstreet mascaras better than theirs which is not something you could say for the rest of their products.
This mascara is decent, it does the job i suppose, lasts a long time and comes off easily enough but it's nothing special. It doesn't add a great deal in the way of length and i think the wand a little big and awkward to use. It's okay in terms of volume but it didn't offer seperation which is something i like a mascara to do (so i usually opt for comb wand mascaras)
it's not terrible but it isnt amazing either

The best MAC mascara so far. I love the wand which is similar to Dior show and Benefit Bad gal lash. It volumizes and curls very well and the it holds the curl. It smells a little odd but nothing terrible!

Nothing special: it is an average mascara that creates quite spidery lashes. It does not add a lot of volume and does not enhance lenght. The price is good (£12.50). But I much prefer Eyes to Kill by Giorgio Armani. That mascara is unbeatable (but nearly twice expensive).

I used to loathe wearing mascara because I hated taking it off, I have sensitive eyes/skin around my eyes. I use YSL Faux Cils at night for dramatic lashes.
My mom sent me a tube of Opulash, and the first time I used it I hated it, I thought it was too 'wet' but with a few uses, it has dried a little and now I love it. I didn't know about it any hype, and I didn't realize it was a 'tube' mascara...I didn't know that a tube mascara was the answer to my mascara removal issue.
anyway, on me, it holds a curl and is somewhere between natural and a bit more dramatic and for my taste/style, that is great.
I love that it can be worn all day without flaking and I even exercise in it and no panda eyes! I think it is a wonderful 'every day' mascara, at a fair price.

Great mascara! Makes my lashes look fuller and longer. I still personally prefer the Benefit Bad Gal Lash over this, but I would still buy this one again.

This stuff is touted as a long-wear (but not waterproof), clump-free 'scara for dramatic, curled lashes. Actually, I think the website promises "bouffant" lashes. It comes in one color, "bad, bad black," which is a sufficiently carbon-y flat black. The brush is almost absurdly large, and I dislike that it *always* pulls out with a glump of product at the end, but other than that . . . love.
My lashes are long, thick and stick straight and one coat of this gives me excellent fringe with, do my eyes deceive??, an actual little bit of curl at the tips -- just enough to give a really great wide-eyed look. True to its word it doesn't clump and, even better, it doesn't flake. Not even after a full 12+ hours, during which I inevitably rub at my eyes without thinking. Feels weightless on my lashes (especially compared to my recent and dearly beloved Korres Abyssinia Oil 'scara, which actually feels waxy and heavy in comparison).
My only real complaint with wear is that, since I'm used to a very soft, waxy 'scara, this feels a little dry on my lashes. It does not, however, feel brittle or overly-product-y, and it does not irritate my sensitive eyes. In all, I really like it -- and I love the modest price tag (I think it was $14-15). Will definitely repurchase.

I LOVE THIS MASCARA!!!!!!!!!! after 1 coat it gives me lthe look of false lashes!!!! its probably the best mascara from mac. you would think that mac mascaras would be exremely expensive but really its fairly cheap for mac. its only $15. to get the really really long, luscious, bold, volumus lashes i love to layer it with the estee lauder lash primer first, then covergirls lash blast volume, then opulash for the grand finale of AWESOME LASHES!!!!!!!! it didnt flake too! and its pretty coool when it comes off.it comes off each lash in tube looking things on my cotton ball with eye makeup remover.it seems cool. it has great staying power!

I cannot believe this product is getting such rave reviews. I HATE it. I have average length averagely fringed eyelashes and this mascara does NOTHING for them. It doesn't hold the curl AND, if you wait more than 10 seconds to do the second coat, then it's dry and pulling the wand thru for the second coat is almost painful. I am taking it back today and trying a different mascara. I am glad this works for others though.

Really don't have anything negative to say about this mascara. I would compare it to diorshow but the brush is designed better so that it doesn't clump, at all! Very impressive. My HG is still MUFE smokey lash but being in the UK it's hard to get, so this will compensate.
This has not smudged on me all day and has held my curl nicely.

This mascara is pretty good Im just not too fond of huge brushes because I always end up getting it on my eyelid..overall it gave me volume and thickness but I think ill always go back to my covergirl lash blast mascara.

For someone with sparse, short, stick-straight lashes, I can't help but have high standards for mascara. I was bored over the weekend and decided to play with EVERYTHING in MAC.
For a MAC mascara, this really surprised me. The SA taught me to put on a coat, let it dry for a few seconds, then apply a second coat. Pretty darn good results; lengthened and voluminous lashes. However, my number one priority and requirement is that my mascara HOLDS CURL. This mascara, like other non-waterproof counterparts, fail to hold the curl to my lashes as they droop upon application.
It's really not a bad mascara and I'm sure it would work for those who have longer and more abundance of lashes. I'm just still on my hunt to find my HG mascara...

I actually really like this mascara, which is rare because I usually HATE MAC mascaras. This is very comparable to my holy grail Dior Diorshow mascara. The wand is very similar and so is the formula.

After hearing all the hype about this mascara i decided to give it a try even though MAC is not known for their mascaras and i had a bad experience with zoom lash. anyways, i thought that the brush was a little too large for my liking but i worked with it and the formula actually did do a good job of thickening, but not so much for lengthening. and after 3 days of using this mascara, i started to notice that when i go to wash it off at the end of the day my eyes were burning and realized it was the mascara flaking off into my eye and causing it to burn. i never had this happen to me in my life until using this crap! and when i returned it, the lady at my MAC counter said the exact same thing happened to her. So, the moral of this story is that i will never buy mac mascaras ever again. i just dont know why people like this stuff. yuck.

Love, love, love this mascara! I've been looking for a dramatic mascara that stays put and this is it. It lengthens, curls, and adds tons of volume. It is second only to Diorshow, which is just too pricey to buy every month. This mascara is a keeper.

I love MAC mascaras. So when I knew this was going to come out, I knew I had to test it out for myself. It's a pretty good mascara. It's buildable and it coats my lashes beautifully, never clumping or flaking. Would definitely buy again.

I wasn't sure about the mascara when i first purchased it but the more i use it the more i like it. It is not like any I have used recently. It does not clump or stick for me like some people said. I start off with a thin first coat then apply a second. It curls my lashes beautifully, much more than any other mascara. It does not have the high drama of like a Dior Show, but it stays PUT. I do not get racoon eyes ever...even it the hot hot summer. I really like it and will continue to use it.

I really like this mascara...i might even love it. I have been using it every day since i got it. It can go on natural-looking, but i usually build it up. I have fairly long lashes as it is and this thickens and accentuates them nicelyThe formula doesn't dry too fast for me and i can apply some after it has dried and i don't get spider lashes. I have been looking for a good mascara and saw this on the mac website so i tried it. I did not know what to expect, but I am impressed and no more than 5 minutes ago, i just bought another tube of it haha...along with some russian red lipstick : ) (which i have never tried, but have heard things about on here)

When I heard this was a tubing mascara I wanted it. It is such a huge disappointment. Just, wow.
It might tube my lashes but I can't really tell because it goes on so clumpy and gross, I have yet to actually wear it. I wash it off and start over with Kiss Me every time.
Seriously, it's no better than a cheap and volumizing drugstore mascara.

I ordered this from Nordstrom shortly after its release due to all of the hype on Youtube. This mascara did not work for me. After two coats my lashes begin sticking together and I get the spider look, which is not cute. MAC Studio Fix mascara performs much better than this, so I will not repurchase.
