I love this product! Truthfully, I've loved it ever since I heard the rumor about it. I've loved Alice since I was a kid and I love Urban Decay. So what could be better than a combo of the two?

At first, I was terrified I wasn't going to be able to get this. I looked for it on UD.com and it was sold out and my nearest Sephora is almost two hours away. Finally I was able to make the trip up there to hunt for it, and I couldn't find it. Panicking a bit, I asked one of the nicest makeup artists there and she sadly told me they hadn't received any yet. I just thanked her and tried to think of another way to get it. But then, she comes back carrying my new prized possession and tells me they just unloaded some in the back. I felt like I'd hit the jackpot, haha!

This BoS is truly wonderful! All the colors are beautiful and not too glittery. I personally like a bit of shimmer and glitter to my looks so that doesn't bother me. I've even figured out how to work with Midnight Cowboy Rides Again. I usually wear neutrals most often so I love that the majority of these shades are less flashy as the other UD palettes. Since I've got this, I've used it almost every day. There are so many different looks you can create with this! The only other color I ever have to reach for with this is a matte highlight. But that's just personal preference. If I wear a lot of shimmer on my lid I don't wanna over do it with the highlight too.

The pop up scene of Alice is so cute, but I do agree with alot of other reviewers. I don't look at it very often. The mirror is a great asset though, I love to travel with my BoS and this one is no different. It makes packing my makeup so much easier. I just toss my face stuff into a little bag, put this box in my suitcase, and my travel brush kit. It makes it so much easier. The mini primer potion is so cute and is a great plus for traveling also. I love the mini 24/7 pencils as well. Another Zero (this is my third haha) is a great addition to my purse makeup collection. I haven't really reached for Flipside, this beautiful turquoisey blue liner, simply because I'm not sure what to do with it. But I'm excited about playing around with it.

All in all, this palette is another great one from Urban Decay. A must have for Alice in Wonderland fan and for an UD collector. The price is pretty good as well. 16 shadows, 2 liners, and a primer all for $52. That's a steal compared to other brands and company.

I don't know where to begin. I really do regret purchasing it now. At first, I love the idea, the shadows and everything about it. I was so excited when it came I was a little kid on christmas. It was so pretty to look at but other than that? zip....I like maybe three of the colors? The rest are so glittery, which would have been fine if they didn't end up falling all over the place. I want to LOVE it however, when my eye is hurting every time I blink I dont think I can. The glitter fall out is a mess and it got on my eye and I have washed it five times and put drops but every SINGLE time, my eye still feels irritated so I go back to the sink and wipe them off and what do you know? more tiny microscopic glitter comes off. IT IS HOOOORRRIIIBBBLLLE! Please save your money. IT IS NOT WORTH IT!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this palette!
However, this palette does have some ups and downs. I don't like the fact that this palette has more neutral colors than the other previous book of shadows.
But, now, because of this palette, I now know what good neutral colors are :) All of the shadows are highly pigmented, and they glide on easily. The liners are pretty good, as well as the primer potion. :]
And I just love the cute packaging!
This is my first Urban Decay palette, and I've never owned any of their eyeshadows, so having all of these colors in one palette was quite a steal for me. :)
I highly recommend this! :)

This product won my heart over in November 2009 when it was just a rumour online. I adore Alice in Wonderland and I adore Urban Decay, so it wasn't even a choice I had to make. I don't own any of the other BOS or any of the UD palettes so I wasn't scared of getting any multiple colours, that being said, I'm really glad I bought this. I'm a little disappointed that it didn't come with any of it's own unique colours though- I would've liked to see some LE colours. The shadows are amazing, hands down. I just love everything about this product! I can't get enough of it. I've neglected all of my other eyeshadows since I've gotten this palette :)

I usually don't jump on the bandwagon for trendy high end makeup other than MAC, however I had wanted to try UD shadows for a while, and after doing the math I figured this would be a good deal.

I've used this almost every day since I got it about a week ago to try and get a good feel for the products, and I'm very happy with the results. A few of the shadows are a little too frosty for my liking and one or two don't blend as well as I'd like, but most of them apply and blend beautifully.

The only real downfall (why I took one lippie off) is that most of the shadows have awful fallout. I find when I wear these, I have to alter my usual makeup routine and do foundation after because there is so much fallout. However, I'm willing to put up with that because this is a truly beautiful palette.

Love the theme. Love Tim Burton & Johnny Depp. Love that Urban Decay did this palette. Glad that I didn't have a lot of UD eyeshadows since this provides me with many of their staples. Always been undecided about UD e/s since they are or have been so very glittery/shimmery but decided that if used in conjunction with some other matte shadows it would be nice to have the variety afforded here. For the number of shadows you get - if you don't already own a bunch of them - this is worth the money.

I love Alice in Wonderland ever since I was a little girl! As a woman I love Urban decay eye shadow. This is the best of two worlds!! Personally, I believe UD is the best eye shadow on the market. I own many separates but never have bought a book of shadows. I was so thrilled to purchase this book of shadows. (I bought 2-ssshhh do not tell the hubbie). Yes, as previous reviewer have said a lot of these colors have sparkles which flake off on your face. I have found if you tap your brush on the side of the color before applying the shadow it eliminates a lot of the sparkles. Personally, I wear the sparkle ones when I go out at night or in the crease line. Bottom line, yes it is expensive but well worth it for all those shadows, mini udpp, and 2 eyeliners.

I love this eyeshadow set, I was given it as a gift and use it nearly everyday. All the colors are old UD shadows with new names, but since I didn't have any of the old ones, it was a very nice set. The color payoff is great, they are mostly sparkly and shimmery, and I don't have a problem with fallout at all. The pop out art is beautiful, and the mirror is useful if you want to take it somewhere with you.
It also comes with a eyeliner in Zero and Flipside, and a mini Urban Decay Primer Potion.

I was really lusting after this palette but I had no real intentions of purchasing it. While hauling in Sephora with my best friend we spotted this, it had just come in that day and they had JUST put them on the shelf. After looking at the colors and the GORGEOUS packaging, my best friend convinced me that I could not leave the store without this so off we went to get my other items with this added to the pile. Out of the 16 shadows in this palette, I only own 4 full-sized and all of the colors are very wearable (imo) except Alice which is the bright blue. I've been using this palette every day since I got it and I don't regret the purchase at all (I even used Alice in a fun look while playing around a few days ago). If you don't already own a bunch of these shadows or the other BoS palettes then this is a really good choice especially if you are a fan of neutrals and purples like me. All in all, I'm very pleased and glad to have this as an addition to my collection. The fact that it's Alice in Wonderland themed doesn't hurt either.

I had been waiting for this for months! As soon as I heard about this palette I called my local sephora every week and I would always ask about it when I went into sephora. I couldn't order this product on urban decays website since I live in canada and they do not deliver here :( as soon as I saw it on sephora's website my bf ordered it for me. I got it in the mail a week later (the same day it came into canadian stores) and I was in loveee. I was so happy because this was my first book of shadows. I have tried a few colours already and it was my first time using the primer potion. The colour payoff for the shadows are just as great as my MAC shadows. For the price, I think it's pricey but well worth it because you get their top selling eyeshadows (just renamed to suit the characters in alice in wonderland), two of their eyeliners (the black which is a best seller) and a small tube of their well known primer. I loved the primer so much that I purchased the bigger tube as well since its usually sold out.

I absolutely love this book of shadows, I only have one complaint.

I love the colours and they are all so pigmented and beautiful and look beautiful on your eyes.

The one problem I have with this is the amount of fallout. Oh my gosh it got allllllll over my face it's ridiculous, but it's only with some of the shadows that have lots of sparkle.

Otherwise this is so amazing all the colours are so beautiful like I said and I can see myself using all the amazing colours! I do love it and the pop up design is so cute!

I had been eying this pallet for MONTHS before it came out (like most of the beauty community, I suspect).

It was about $60 on the Canadian Sephora online and was like $20 to ship. That's a whopping $80 I spent on this thing. But I really have no complaints. This is my first UD pallet and I am not disappointed at all! The packaging alone was reason enough to buy it.

The colours are so vibrant and pigmented. I adore the two liners that came with it and the mini UDPP is too cute and awesome for travel and to throw in my purse or overnight bag. Though some of the colours are VERY glittery and should be applied wet to avoid copious amounts of fallout.

I love this palette. Even if the colors are old ones, it is okay because I am not one of those people that buy single expensive eyeshadows, I just stick to NYX. The only way I buy high end eyeshadows is if it is in a palette, or it is discounted (like going to cc in the mall) because it is just not worth the money to me. I could care less about the packaging, it is the how much money you save by buying it this way. Totally worth 52 dollars!

I really like this!! I don't own any of the UD BOS's so the colors are new to me. I love how well they blend...the colors are very pigmented and see myself being able to create many looks with this. I don't really have a problem with glitter fallout because if you tap the brush a couple of time it falls off the brush and not on your face. I am very excited about all the fun I am going to have with this!!

i love this set so much! i would recommend it only to people who don't own previous books of shadows, like myself, because it is a repeat of many of those colors. my favorite color in the palette is 'muchness,' i think it's a unique color. my only criticism would be the glitter, but if you tap your brush on your counter a few times, the majority of the glitter taps out leaving the color.

I, personally, love this palette. Because all of the eyeshadows are just re-released with "topsy-turvy" names, I would recommend that one doesn't already have all of the UD eyeshadows already. Or else this would bea complete waste of money. But, it's an excellent collection for people like me that don't own many eyeshadows and want to add a gorgeous palette to their collection.

I LOVE this BOS!!! I have never owned a UD BOS before but when I saw a tutorial of this on youtube I knew I had to have it! I just love the idea of it being based on the movie Alice in wonderland, and even better that it is limited edition! The love the pop up and the colors are wow...so pretty, so vibrant and pigmented! Some people are saying this is a glitter bomb and I can see where they come up with that idea because there are 5 shadows that do have a lot of glitter in it and if you don't apply them carefully you will get glitter all over your face. But that could be fixed easily enough so that doesn't bother me at all. The other 11 shadows do not have glitter in them and are very wearable, day or night. I also like the eyeliners that come with it and the cute little mini primer potion! I am just in love with this so much, I have never spent $52 dollars on a palette before but this was well worth it!

Love UD shadows. Since I have a lot of shadows I prefer to purchase kits when I can. I have BOS I & II and love them both. Even though I have six-seven of the colors in the AIW palette it is worth the purchase. When you divide the # of products you get for $52, it averages to 2.74 per shadow, liner and primer. Great price for a wonderful product. I prefer to not have glitter in my shadows, but with a tap or 2 of my brush I rarely get it on my face. I love the design of the package, and the quality of the shadows. I only have 4 UD palettes and with the exception of perversion(matte black), I have 4-7 colors as duplicates. Not a big issues for me, because when I run out of BOS I & II, I will have certain colors in AIW BOS. Only reason I would not buy again is because I think I have all the UD shadows I need or want unless they come out with a BOS IV with totally new matte colors. I love mattes and would love for an all matte palette. I keep my MAC matte palettes at fingertip reach because I love mattes so much. Overall worth the buy especially if you have not purchased any BOS or UD shadows.

I'd never bought a BOS before and when I heard this was coming out I jumped online and purchased right away. BIG mistake! Don't get me wrong the Eyeshadows are pretty but I'm an "adult" I can't have glitter all over my face because at-least 5 of these shadows have major sparkly fall out! The rest have a subtle glimmer sparkle thats bare able
but those 5 did it for me. Had a meeting; My face was done and I just wanted to apply 2 "beautiful" colors to my lids blend and go, not going to happen with all that glitter on my face I was frustrated and very disappointed had I tried them on before hand I would not have purchased this item. If a Disco Ball for a face isn't your thing don't buy this BOS.

Aside from all this the colors are all also in the permanent line.

The colors in the Palette:
Underland (Flash) - bright iridescent purple
Alice (Painkiller) - turquoise shimmer
Oraculum (Baked) - rich bronze
Queen (Last Call) - plum punch
Chessur (Chopper) - coppery fawn w/ silver microglitter
White Rabbit (Polyester Bride) - white w/ silver *glitter*
Wonderland (Maui Wowie) - medium gold w/ silver *glitter*
Curiouser (Grifter) - sheer lavender w/ lots of silver microglitter
Muchness (X) - gold w/ sheer peach tint
Mushroom (Mushroom) - dark taupe with bronze shimmer
Midnight Tea Party (Midnight Cowboy Rides Again) - golden beige w/ bronze, gold & silver *glitter *
Vorpal (S&M) - bright metallic silver
Absolem (Homegrown) -
Drink Me Eat Me (Sin) - champagne
Mad Hatter (Twice Baked) - dark brown w/ gold *glitter*
Jabberwocky (Oil Slick) - black with silver *glitter*
