I bought this mascara on a whim at the drugstore in the colour "Brown". I've been using this mascara for about two months, and it isn't amazing but it isn't awful either. It's just kind of average. I do really like the packaging though, I'm a sucked for purple! Sometimes it clumps really badly, but if I'm careful applying I can usually avoid too much clumping. It does flake off, but it's not too bad. This is just an "eh" product I can do without.

I absolutely adore this mascara, this is one of the best I've ever used. It adds length and volume!

My first try did NOT work. Give it a next time, for real. However, like any drugstore product/any product you must be able to know how to work the wand. Product like this, you have to swipe a few times until you get the length you want. Swipe from the roots to top, repeat a few times and you will notice a big difference in length and volume. It does live up to its expectations. People complain that its another fail, trust me, I've cussed off maybelline face products and eyeliners but never their mascaras.
This mascara is comparable to MAC zoom, theyre real and other high end mascaras. I am so comfortable shedding $5 for this Mascara every 3 months!
Theyre easy to take off, It does not smudge like maybelline eyeliner.
It lasts all day long.
It is the best $5 ever spent!

Actually I'm fan of L'Oreal mascaras, but this just blew me away! For clearly visible, volumious, long lashes - this is it! I always use this when I'm going out to party and wear heavy eye makeup. It gives almost the same result as if I'm wearing false lashes. Love, love, LOVE it! :D

I surprisingly like this mascara. A lot of them out there tend to have a scent..(COUGH COVERGIRL) or just something about them that makes my eyes burn and ugh. This does not. It applies well. It makes my lashes go up and look nice. What I don't like is that if you aren't careful, it can make them look spiderleggy and personally, I do not like that look. It's pretty easy to get off.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Mascara. I wear very minimal makeup except for mascara so I'm very picky when choosing one. I've tried many $30 Mascaras from Sephora but this is seriously the best one I've ever found. You have to wipe a bit off before using (as with many Mascaras) but it goes on very easily and gives you amazing length and volume. I've been using it for over a year and I really hope they never discontinue it.

After reading many positive reviews I decided to try this mascara. Big mistake! I only used it once and will never use it again. It went on okay and the look was okay ... nothing outstanding but not horrible either. The real problem was when I tried to remove it ... it's nearly impossible to take off. And ever since my eyelashes have been much shorter than before I used this mascara. Definitely not a good product for me.

I really like this mascara.Lately Maybelline has been stepping up there game in the mascara department.I get the blackest lashes and it seems to hold my curl pretty well.It doesn't flake on me during the day and when I add coats it doesn't get clumpy which is great.Overall I would buy this again but it's not my fave cuz I'm always on the search for the next best mascara.I still always seem to grab for this.It definitely gives volume and length.

This product is my HG mascara. My eyelashes are very picky when it comes to mascara especially when I curl them. Most mascara don't hold the curl for even 5 minutes where as this one held a curl for a day! Only problem is its really pricey here in Australia 13-15AUD depending where you buy it i.e; priceline or woolies. I was lucky enough to get it for 11.89 at woolies when it was on sale. None the less I'd repurchase this over and over again.

My HG mascara. Seriously. This gives the volume I love! It lengthens my lashes to a mile long and is the only mascara that can thicken my lashes. The only downside for me is that it sort of makes my lashes look like spider legs if I apply more than one coat. Also I'm not a big fan of the packaging since it doesn't look as chic as I prefer. There is some product fall out but I haven't experienced a mascara that didn't leave me with a little bit of a raccoon look so in comparison this is good. There's a scent to the mascara but it doesn't bother me, if you don't like the smell of honey or something like it then maybe this isn't for you. Even with the flaws it doesn't stop me from using it! In my opinion it's the best mascara Maybelline has to offer.

I am in love with this mascara! Of course no mascara will give exact dramatic results as false lashes, but it does give amazing definition and volume. It holds a lasting curl to give that false lash effect which I love and lengthens fairly well. If applied correctly, clumps can be avoided easily and lashes really do look amazing. I'm currently on my second tube and I swear by this product.
The only fault I'd say is the packaging. A lot of product comes out and ends up drying around the rim but its not enough to make me hate it.
For anyone looking for beauty on a budget this is definitely one to try!

This mascara works great for me. It makes my long, thin lashes look full and dark. I tried The Falsies on a whim and liked it so much that I switched to it from the mascara I had been loyal to for years. I have also had more than one person ask me which mascara I use--and I'm happy to recommend it.
The best thing about it? I have oily skin around my eyes so most other volumizing formulas smudge on me, but this one doesn't.
I recommend using this along with Ardell's lash growth formula (applied at night). Ardell's product makes my lashes grow super long, and this makes them thick and dark. Lurve it!!!!

It is a very gimmicky mascara that claims to make your own lashes look like Falsies. Yes, it does volumise really well. It's too much volume for my liking though. I have short Asian lashes...they're not sparse but just short. On my first try (without wiping out the excess mascara on a tissue), it really did make my lashes look like falsies but I did not like it because it was too volumising.
On my 2nd try, I wiped out 90% of the product on the brush and swept through my lashes. Gave a clean look which I am generally okay with, but this lead to product wastage. I am no mascara snob, so this is a decent mascara. Not my favorite but decent enough for me when I want more volume.
Here are the pros & cons for this mascara:
1. Very dark
2. Waterproof (I have very watery eyes, I need to have a waterproof formula)
3. Very long-lasting.
4. Lengthens my lashes decently (I have really really short lashes)
5. Holds a curl pretty well.
6. Offers great volume
1. Too much volume for my liking. (Personal preference)
2. Too wet (I blink very easily, and it will transfer onto my lower lids when I blink while the mascara is still wet)
3. Too much product on the wand. (The spoon brush grabs onto too much product, resulting in clumps)
4. Ridiculously difficult to remove. (I have to battle with my lashes everytime I wear this, even with the great Bioderma which removes all my waterproof mascaras effortlessly. I have yet to put it to test with my seperate eye makeup remover as I'm running out of it)
Overall, it is a decent mascara. Just not my cup of tea to call it a favorite. I will still wear this, with darker eye makeup to balance out the volume.

I have really mixed feelings towards this mascara.
The packaging is simple and reasonably sized, and the wand has a nice curved shape that I like, however the brush just picks up way too much product. So much so that I find myself wiping the bristles on the inner edge of through tube just so I don't drown my eyeballs.
When applied with caution, the volume, curl and length this product creates can be amazing, and the lasting power is fantastic. However, if you were in a rush or just starting out, you would end up with dribbling product all over the place and probably have panda eyes.
Thankfully I found this at a discount, so the fact that I got sucked into the youtube hype doesn't bother me all that much.
So all in all, great concept for mascara, but it's not easy to work with (i.e. it's not a no brainer, which mascara really should be imo) and the wetness of the formula almost nullifies all its other good qualities. Highly doubt I would repurchase.

I love this mascara! Definitely one of my favorites. I have used department store mascaras, but I rather use falsies.

I really, really loved the effect that this mascara gave my lashes- long, separated and flirty but unfortunately when it started to come off and get into my eyes, my eyes stung so badly like I had gotten soap in them or something. Very disappointed as this would have been an HG otherwise :(

I'm obsessed with mascara. I have long eyelashes but they stick straight down and are fairly thin. So when choosing a mascara, I look for one that is very volumizing and maybe even curls. I usually curl my eyelashes with an eyelash curler. When this mascara came out on the market, I immediately grabbed it. I regret that decision. This mascara was too wet for my eyelashes and it made me eyelashes stick together too much. The wand was too confusing for me to use. I tried keeping it for awhile but the mascara didn't get better. I want to try the other different Falsies but I'm hesitant because of this bad experience.

I've used some high end mascaras, my favorite being benefits bad gal lash, and I can honestly say it doesn't even compare to falsies. First of all it has adorable packaging, and the price is only around 5-6$. I have naturally long eyelashes but they't not very full. This mascara makes my eyelashes so long and full. It doesn't clump at all, until it's almost gone, which is understandable. I think that if this mascara was repackaged under an expensive brand it would be rated way higher. I'm honestly appalled at the ratings. I've never found a better mascara and I don't think I ever will.

Due to multiple raves about this product, including the lovely and talented Tanya Burr, and after my Benefit "They're Real" mascara bottle broke, I decided to try it.
This is literally the WORST mascara I have ever used in my entire life.
1) The brush sucks. I don't know who has bulbous curved eyes that would fit that brush (maybe Zooey Deschanel or some kind of alien?), but I certainly don't!
2) The mascara came out almost dripping off the wand, I wiped and wiped and wiped until the wand and brush were almost dry and it was still slippery and wet and awful and just so much wet mascara!!
My eyelashes are long but sparse, but can get thick if I have the right mascara.
This mascara literally made my lashes look like spider legs - a spider with anorexia that is.
Awful, will never purchase again and immediately threw out. I'm sticking with my Benefit "They're Real". It may be expensive, but it looks awesome compared to this crap!

i have a love hate relationship with this mascara......i never got quite used to the brush so i wuld always switch it out with my colossal mascara wand....but this used to be my favorite with amazing volume and length...however i dont know if it is just me but i feel like they changed the formula...i know before a lot of people used to hate how stiff this masacara left their eyelashes but i quite liked that cuz they stayed in place all day....but now after the formula chnge this mascara smudges and flakes on me and its just not the same :(
