I must be the only one that does not like these shadows. I bought six of them at a whim considering the good reviews and hated most of them. When you swatch with a finger the pigmentation is incredible, but once a brush is used the product is not there, especially with the lighter colors like gold and pink. I have to say the darker ones like purple, green, and blue did have a nice payoff but I was not able to work with them, maybe is just me. I would give them a try to see if they work for you since they are so cheap

I have this in Sage, which is almost a green/taupe/gold shade. The color looks amazing with my hazel eyes - really makes them stand out. I used baked eyeshadow once before (it was Physicians Formula) and didnt like it because the color just never showed up. But for .99 I figured why not. And I wasnt disappointed. The color pigmentation is strong - really shows up on the eyelid. Like the regular eyeshadows it does not crease or run (this lasted through a workout at the gym).
My only complaint is the color options! The pigmentation on this is so rich that one layer is all you need and the colors offered are very vivid to begin with (teals, turquoises, gunmetals) and are not suitable for my work environment. But for the price I'd pick them up for going out.
This is the second Sally Girl product I tried and still not disappointed.

For just $0.99 each, you get a baked delight! Sally Girl Mini Baked Eye shadows are probably the best eye shadows I've ever used. Ever. They beat my L'Oreal eye shadows by a long haul.
Sally Girl Mini Baked Eye shadows are intensely pigmented (especially when wet), portable, cheap, and the color payoff has excellent lasting power. On top of nothing but liquid foundation, these eye shadows can last up to five or six hours, if I'm remembering correctly. And that's just because the color seems to fade!
These shadows, in hindsight, are a bit chalky and hard to blend. They're amazing for an all over lid color, but if you're into more dramatic make-up looks and you need to blend and create depth, then I'm not sure if these shadows are for you.
Also, if you have enough of them on hand, then the pink eyeshadow can work wonderfully as a shimmery blush. Or you can get the pink eyeshadow wet and apply it on top of your lipstick for a cute, shimmery frosty look.
The only con I have about these eye shadows is that there's no applicator. Plus I believe Sally Girl tests on animals. Gosh I hate that. ;(
Anywhoo, hope this review helps!

I absolutely love these! For 99 cents, I thought I'd give a couple of them a try and I was back the next day to pick up all the colors. Some are more natural shades that aren't too bold and there are also some very bright colors that are fun for a night out. They are very pigmented and they last all day! I have oily lids so if I'm blending several of them I do have to use an eyeshadow primer so they don't run together. I find they're best to apply with a moist sponge tip applicator. I would be willing to pay a lot more for these, because the price is amazing for the quality you get!

I love these cute little shadows!
I went to Sally's one day with my mom, and she was actually the one to notice them by the register :) She was like "Andrea, these are so cute! I'm getting you this gold color to try tonight" At first, I thought- mom, you get what you pay for...and maybe she just wanted a little cute shadow because I am still her baby..or whatever :D hehe *^-^*
So I didn't think it would be amazing or anything. But I grabbed two more anyway haha (they R super cute! lol)
Well when I tried them that night, my jaw dropped! "you guys..mom..tyler...you guys have to see this swatch from this bronze one!"
SO GORGEOUS!! PIGMENTED!! Just awesome! <3 <3
I am in LOVE with shimmery, gold, bronzy, baked shadows. and Sally's were by far the best I had tried yet! Even against some of my Urban Decay favs, and Hard Candy favs. Beats out Milani, and is comparable to some of my MAC mineralize shadows! (Love connection is my fav) :)
I LOVE them all and will keep repurchasing! :)
But a tip: be careful will the cute little packaging :) One of mine knocked against my vanity and the whole little baked ball just came loose :( I was so sad. So I tried to push it back in, but it wouldn't stay. But for a $1, I'll just pick up a backup or something lol <3 <3
Go pick a handful up ladies <3 It'll be the best pocket change you've ever spent :D lol <3

I took a trip to Sally's today to renew my card, and ended up picking up two of these awesome little baked eyeshadow in Dark Aqua and Pearl White. I gave them a try when I got home and they were simply fantastic! Stunning color, smooth application, and looked flawless hours later, even on my oily lids! I used them both dry, but I plan on trying them wet as well. I'm definitely going to stop by Sally's again soon to pick up more! :) Just .89 cents each with my card!!!

I bought 3 of these e/s (a purple, bronze, and blue color) from sallys about a month ago and can honestly say these e/s are REALLY awesome! Very pigmented! When first opened they have that baked shell so I used a sponge-tip applicator to apply - once the shell was gone i can now use my regular brushes to apply the shadow and i still get the same pigment on my eyes! (we all know sponge-tips will apply any e/s to its opaquest) These are really great for girls like me who haven't gone outside the box in terms of colors (usually wear neutrals) so these make it very easy to experiment not only with colors but with application process as I am learning the ropes for that too.. So at a $1 in price you can't go wrong! Can't wait to buy more! Go try these!!

This is the best eyeshadow Ive ever used. These colors POP. I normally don't wear eye shadow. It just seems so complicated to apply, but this eyeshadow is mistake proof. I dont know all of the makeup techniques, and I actually apply it with my fingertip most of the times.
You can moisten your eyelid for a more intense color or apply it dry for a more shimmery color. I have oily skin, and the colors last all day (12 hours later).
Best of all you can buy these from Sally's Beauty Supply Store at a $1.00 a piece. Of course I have every color.

I love these cute little shadows. I have them in the dark gray, purple, and pink/rose color, and they're all great! I used the pink and gray ones today as a matter of fact. I put the pink on my lids, and the gray in the crease, and it looks awesome. I will be buying more of these the next time I vist sallys. =}

I love these mini eyeshadows! I bought 2 yesterday and wore them today and they lasted all day. I appled my UDPP and Milk NYX pencil to seal in the color and they are just beautiful. You can't beat the price for the quality you got. I will be buying more. Plus its cheaper with your Sally's card! A+ for me!

Amazing product for under a $1?!?! Indeed. My only regret is that I didn't try these sooner. I have tried 388121... champagne with a tint of olive. Gorgeous! Can't wait to try the other colors!!!

I picked these up more than a month ago. I never expected these eyeshadows to be so highly pigmented, considering the cost ($1). And I just love the adorable packaging! I will definitely repurchase these! :D

You can't help but look at these and go awwwwwwww. Small = Cute, people. And you know what they say about how great things come in small packages. That's absolutely true of these little cuties.
With these (and with most baked 'dome' type eyeshadows) I've found that you kinda have to break through the 'crust,' if you will, to get to the good stuff. The outer layer is kinda hard-packed on, and you won't get much pigmentation until you get through it. When I first used mine, I spent some time just swiping the whole thing with my brush. I started to get pigmentation towards the end.
And these ARE quite pigmented. And they last all day with a primer.
And for what, a dollar? Why yes, I will take a handful of these little guys home with me every time I visit Sally's! ^_^ AWW SO CUTE!

I picked 4 of these mini baked eye shadows on whim because I needed to spend couple more bucks to get my Sally's 15% reward for the following month.
When I swatched it on my hand the color pigmentation was awesome but when I applied it with a brush it did barely picked up any shadow, I tried wetting my brush and it helped a little but still not satisfying. I finally used my finger to apply it and the pigmentation is amazing. These lasted for the whole day without creasing... I would definitely buy them again. The only downside is all their colors are shimmery. I would love to pick up more if they come out with some matte colors!

I bought one today while I was puchasing queen Helene mint julep scrub. I was just looking around and saw it so I just went ahead and bought it. It was only $.99!!! The one I picked was a cream color with gold flakes in it. It's somewhat sheer but i like it enough just to use it on it's own to brighten up my eyes. The only the I didn't like about it was HUGE gold flakes which was easy to brush off. Overall I would buy it again because is cheap and quality is good

After hearing about a friend rave about these shadows, I was a little skeptical when I traveled to my Sally's Beauty Supply this evening to check these out. They are very small, but like another reviewer added below, they have more in them than MAC shadows do!
I bought three shades: 388121 (champagne shimmer with a light olive tint), 388122 (shimmery beige, perfect for highlight) and 388124 (chocolate/bronze shimmer). The colors are absolutely gorgeous.
Upon application (I used the MAC 213 and 239 eye brushes), I noticed no chunky glittery fallout like I thought it would be. The shimmer is subtle, but you can tell it's there, enough to make your eyes sparkle without looking like overkill. I even sprayed my brushes with MAC Fix+ and it gave the colors a foiled look.
My favorite shade was the chocolate/bronze shade, which I used in my crease and outer V area. I normally am drawn to matte/satin type shadows, so it was a welcome change with these pretty baked shadows. For .99 cents (and cheaper when you use your Sally's card!) this can't be beat. Very easy to work with and blend nicely. Will definitely buy again!
