This powder is one of my all time 'go-to' make up products. I have been using it for such a long time and I have re-purchased it at least 3 times.
The shade 'transparent' is absolutely perfect for my skin tone and I am so glad that there is a drugstore powder that is affordable and doesn't leave my skin looking orange or my make up looking 'caked'.
I feel like the powder sets my make up in place and helps it stay on throughout the day.
Another thing I love about this product is that you can just take it out with you and top it up throughout the day, it is build-able so reapplying while you're out won't make it look thick or 'cakey'.
The only thing I don't like about this product is that every compact that I have owned ends up breaking the powder so I end up having to use it as a loose powder instead of a pressed powder. Also, the packaging isn't very secure as the lid easily falls off when the powder is in your bag.

I prefer my powder to be sheer. This product is too heavy and noticeable.

I use this product regularly, it retails around £3.99 which is good value for money as it lasts quite a while, depending on how much coverage you want. Although it provides a fairly even coverage for me, I find that after a few hours it can look patchy and uneven. Overall a good product for the price.

THE BEST DRUGSTORE POWDER EVER!!!!!!!!!! this is my go to powder it leaves a nice matte finish and it keeps my oil controlled for an extra 3 to 4 hours. it doesn't extenuate any dry areas i might have. it comes with a lot of product compared to normal powders and it much cheaper i find it to only be 3 to 4 dollars at target. the packaging sucks but the powder is worth the terrible packaging. i'm on my 5 powder and i always come back to it.

Fantastic product for the price, in fact it's probably just as good if not better than the high end equivalents. Creates a matte finish very well, has good staying power and doesn't cling to pores.

Finally found my signature powder! I've never been able to find a face powder I've liked. They either don't match my skin tone, make my face look chalky, the powder feels weird on my skin, or they have a weird scent.

It's super hot in LA in the summer and I thought instead of wearing a liquid foundation why not wear something light like a face powder instead.

I purchased the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder and love it! It matches my skin tone perfectly, doesn't leave my face looking cakey or chalky and has a pleasant scent.

Unlike the other powders I've tried in the past, I can't even feel that this is on, which is great.

The only little drawback is it does not come with an applicator and the lid doesn't really stay screwed on.

Regardless, I love it and will definitely buy it again!

I purchased this because of all the great reviews. But it made my face itch and burn. It is must be the minerals that my skin reacts too. I cannot wear Bare Minerals or any other kind of mineral make-up because I experience a nasty reaction to the minerals. I did not realize that it had minerals in it until after I used it once. So, I am putting it up as a swap for anyone who would like it!

I have used Stay Matte powder for years now. I occasionally buy some pricier ones but I always come back to this. The powder is not as fine as some of the other powders I've used, for example Lumene powders, but it's not a problem. I apply it with a big brush so it applies thinly enough for my taste. I like how natural this looks compared to other powders.

I also love this powder because the package so plain! I don't feel like repurchasing mirrors (what a waste, I never use them) every month or puffs or any of that stuff. I also love the cheap price and the big size, of course.

I love this powder! I used one up until I hit pan on it and there was nothing left. This is my second time using it and I still love it just as much. It helps control de oil on my skin very well. I keep it in my purse just in case I get oily during the day. It never, ever, looks cakey! There's not much to say about it, other than the fact that it's amazing and it's a good price. I used to use Covergirl Clean Powder for oily skin and sometimes the one for sensitive skin, but I like this one way, way more. I have repurchased and will continue to do so!

Stuff is awesome! A very light dusting of this perfectly sets any liquid foundation without making your face look caked. Also, even when I've applied what I thought might be too much of this product it never looked cakey either. It's super soft and blendable, the texture is almost like a full mineral powder. I dust mine on with a fluffy brush and it always sets my makeup perfectly. I have combo skin and I even use it in the summer and it always looks natural, never leaving me to look overdone. Another thing I use it for is blending with my brighter shakes of blush (like Milani - Mai Tai) for a lighter color application. Can't say enough good things about this product, and with the price of 5.79 at my local CVS, where I usually have tons of coupons, you can't beat the price either. The packaging is pretty basic, but I do like that the cover removes fully because I like to mix my powder/blush in there sometimes. This has definitely become a staple of my makeup bag.

This is my favorite powder. Its inexpensive and great for my full coverage make up routine. It does not appear cakey and it really sets my liquid foundation!

I first bought this many years ago but only used it a couple times before i switched to something else. I've been using MAC's studio fix pressed powder for the past 2 to 3 years and I love that it covers all my scars and blemishes so easily but it does NOT help control my oil at all which is damn frustrating for a very oily girl like me lol.
I found my stay matte powder from years ago and decided to use it since my blemishes werent too obvious and WOW.... I don't know why I didnt see it before but it literally keeps me matte and shine-free for at least 8-10 hours which is a big deal for me cause when using the MAC powder I would start looking oily and shiny within the hour of applying it to my face.
I'm happy to say that I have not blotted or retouched up my face all day. I'm only a little shiny (not oily) after 12 hours of application and it doesn't bother me at all since it can't even compare to how shiny I get with other powders.
Although its very light coverage, I would recommend this to people with very oily skin because this product actually does what it says it will do :)

This product is amazing!! I don't wear foundation as my skin is already pretty clear. I wear this on bare skin to remove any oily shine or residue. I dust this over my skin lightly and it looks natural. I like the packaging but the top tends to fall off too easily in my purse or even makeup drawer but the amazing product inside makes up for it.

i have never tried a translucent powder before.. but decided to give it a go from reveiws on youtube etc and im trying to find different products to control my oily skin.... so.. i actually quite like it.. it gives a nice matte finish once i've put all my makeup on.. so i love the look it gives... nothing i have tried has controlled the oil on my face but with this and a combanation of other products i use to contol my VERY oily skin this helps my makeup stay in place.. it does not help prevent the oil on my face.... but i think this is a great product and would recommend it to everyone :)

I used to use Rimmel's "Stay Matte" foundation, and I LOVED it. I came across this "Stay Matte" powder, and I had to purchase. This stuff is amazing. I have very pale skin, so almost all of my powders are transparent (especially drug store makeup) Rimmel, especially, does not have much of a selection in tones of foundation and powder. But once you find something that works for you, the results are awesome. Great price, and wonderful results :)

A really good product at a very reasonable price. I like using this with a big fluffy brush to set my makeup and give it a nice, velvety finish. It works well to mattify mid-day oil breakthrough on my nose without looking chalky and without building up. Great in summertime, when my face is oilier - just a light dusting of this and my face looks fresh and clean. Easily as good as a lot of other, far pricier mattifying powders and this colour is perfect for me. The packaging is the worst, though - you cannot rely on this to stay closed in your makeup bag. I have mine secured with a rubber band!

This is my favourite powder I've found so far! The colour is almost perfect for me - a bit too yellow, but it isn't very noticeable in most lights. It does a great job of setting my foundation, and it helps control oil better than any other drugstore powder I've tried.

I got this product probably 2 months ago and I hit pan on it a week ago. When first got this product I hated it, it made me look cakey and dry with is weird for a girl with combination oily skin. But then I realized the less you put of the product on your face the less cakey it looks. It has a a scent to it but I like it! Reminds me of flowers kinda. The powder does make your face look paler than you really are but the trick with transparent/translucent powders is to let them stay on your skin awhile. It was very affordable which is a plus, I would perchase this again for a friend or something. This products also doesn't control oil as best as I wanted it to my face got oily after 4 to 5 hours.

This transparent powder really is transparent! If any of you have used Covergirls "transparent" powder you know that's a lie!

Great pressed powder that is actually transparent! I apply with a short kabuki brush I do one quick swirl of powder then one quick buff of the face and foundation is set and no shiny face all day! Does not feel heavy or look cakey.

Love it! :]
