This has been a godsend. My skin is not too bad, but I always have at least several pimples, blackheads etc and overall the texture is rough and congested. Enter the Mia: After the first few uses I was absolutely floored by how much softer my skin felt as well as how much brighter and cleaner it looked. I use my Mia twice daily and I would think that as long as your skin isn't super sensitive, this would probably be fine for most people. I personally love the results I get when I use my Mia with Clinique's 3 Step System. I find that the added scrubbing power it gives to the Liquid facial soap is enough to take off even the heaviest makeup. I recommend this to anyone who wants great skin!

I am 39 with very a Oily complextion since i was a teenager. While as i am growing older the benefits of having oily skin are very minimal wrinkles or lines. I have tried many products over the years -especially your high end face washes and products. I read reviews about the Clarisonic for years but didn't want to invest in the $200 price tab it came with. I finally spurged in November 2012 and bought the MIA 2. I honestly have to say its the best product i have ever used on my face for cleaning. My face looks amazing. While i do still have oily skin its not as bad and the little white bumps from oil and makeup build up i no longer get. My face looks younger from removing the years of build up from oil and dulliness. My only regret now is that i didn't buy it sooner. Its a 10+ product.

AMAZING. This product changed my skin. I have major breakout prone skin that is starting to show the first signs of aging-sun damage, fine lines, unevenness. The Mia in combination with the clarisonic refreshing gel cleanser and occasionally the acne cleanser has helped to clear and even out my skin. It's smooth as a baby's rump. I love using the Mia too. You can just tell that it cleans your makeup and pores so well. Love love love

I have sensitive skin (rosacea) and pimples. I have being using heavy duty products that strip my skin to unsuccessfully keep the pimples at bay. After the first session with the Mia my skin felt incredibly clean and it actually felt like my Lancôme products were sinking in. The next morning, no pimples and my skin felt clean. I have being using it for a week, twice a day. My rosacea hasn't flared up, I haven't needed to coat my face in strong stripping agents, no pimples and clean skin. LOVE IT, only wish I had bought it sooner and saved my money from wasting it away on expensive products.

My skin is combination (dry cheeks, slightly oily t-zone) and quite sensitive with broken capillaries.I decided to buy the Mia just before Christmas. It came with the sensitive brush. My routine is to wash my makeup off first without the Clairsonic. I use round cotton pads, splash my face with water. After that, I wet the brush head and apply a small amount of cleanser to my wet face to exfoliate and remove any trace amount of makeup. Since my skin is sensitive, I'm careful not to press the brush into my face but rather let it glide. Also I use less time on each area compared to what the brochure says. If a product doesn't agree with my sensitive skin it usually burns, feels irritated or cheeks turn quite red. Even when I use an exfoliator for sensitive skin, my cheeks will turn pinkish but as long as I don't feel irritation I'm fine. The Clairsonic hasn't caused any irritation or redness. Since using ths Mia, my pores look smaller, skin looks and feels fresher. I did have a bit of purging around my nose but it didn't last long. I use the Clairsonic one to two times per week. Overall I'm happy with this product.

LADIES, do not buy this fancy shmancy product. All it is is truly a way for the company and dermatologist offices to make money. I have taken a big interest in skincare and improving my own and this is what I learned. Exfoliation on the skin is good.. ONCE a week and not more. People think the Clarisonic is "working" cause their skin feels clean when actually all their natural oils have been stripped and their skin rubbed raw. Instead, exfoliate with a honey mask or baking soda. Cleanse your face with organic essential oils and your skin will THANK you. Rubbing a harsh, vibrating object on your skin will just cause wrinkles, spread bacteria, and make the layers of your skin unhappy. People will say anything to convince you to buy a product so don't believe the hype. At one point I looked up reviews on this thinking I wanted to buy it, HELL NO. Save your money and I hope this skewed anyones mind :)

I resisted buying this product for sooo long. I finally caved in and bought it to share with my sister (we have our own brushes) and I'm so pleased that I did! This product is great for those who wear face makeup on a daily basis, because it really cleanses the face and ensures all your makeup is removed. I find that all my skin products absorb better, and my foundation application has improved as well. I do believe that I experienced some purging, so its important to not exceed the 2min timer and to skip a couple of days in the beginning. I only use this at night after I've removed my makeup with cleansing oil. I use the murad acne cleanser and I'm loving the two together. This product makes washing your face a fun time!

I got this as a gift for Christmas, so I've been using it ever since.
My skin is not particularly sensitive, and usually I handle scubs well, but I have to say, the first time I used the Mia it hurt.
I switched to the Delicate head, and it's much better, however I still cannot use it daily.
So I've been using it 2-3 times/week, at night, with the Clarins Cleanser for Dry and Sensitive Skin (even though my skin is more combination), and they work very well together.
I didn't get any breakouts from this brush.
I feel that it really helps clean my skin, and my cheeks feel smoother and pores look diminished. I haven't gotten new acne, but I'm also on Spiro so I don't know which one I should thank for for that.
I think this brush is a good investment, one just has to pay attention to one's individual skin needs, and not over-use it, otherwise I can see how irritation can occur.

I have been using the Olay Pro-X for about a year and was ready to upgrade to the "deluxe" version- the Clarisonic Mia, but after what I recently learned I am definitely not buying one and I'm cutting down on my usage of the Pro-X- that is if I don't decide to throw it out altogether. Although I cannot review this product as a user, I feel the need to share what I have learned.
I was ready to break down and purchase this. I loved how well the Pro-X cleans my face, and was ready to upgrade to the device with 'sonic' technology. At my recent appointment, I asked my esthetician her opinion on the Mia. I've seen derms selling the Mia from their offices, so I was surprised when she displayed a look of consternation upon my inquiry. She informed me that the twisting the device illicits on the skin is damaging to the integrity of the skin's structure. (Another este that happened to be in the room vehemently backed her up on this) Apparently, the continuous torsion on the skin will cause wrinkles over time. I reluctantly agreed that it made sense. Especially if you believe anti-aging nuances such as 'sleeping on any old pillowcase can can cause wrinkles' and 'always use the ring fingers to apply product around the eyes' then imagine what damage twisting bristles on the Mia can do over 5-10 years.
You may consider the fact that maybe she had ulterior motives for saying this, perhaps to push her services in lieu of the Mia, but she is an experienced este that I trust and has in the past recommended products that she does not sell, so I do not believe there is anything self-serving in her advice. She also stated that they now teach this anti-Mia theory in este school. Alternatively, you must also consider the possibility dermatologists could profit over the damage this device could cause- and who would think to blame the Mia for it? A business is a business, whether it's a doctor's office or a spa, so the best thing to do is look at all the evidence and decide for yourself.
I can only imagine how 'torsion wrinkles' will show up on the face. I don't want to take the chance to find out firsthand.
If I did happen to have the Mia already, I would probably sell it, or at the very least avoid using it on a daily basis, and even then I would use the gentlest pressure possible.
Instead of buying this product, I am going to periodically splurge on microdermabrasion instead.

Like many people, it took me a long time to break down and finally buy this tool. I am always looking for another item/product to help my skin to be the best that it can be, and i am kicking myself for not buying the Clarisonic sooner.

It is quite expensive, around $130 Canadian and it is recommended that you change the brush every three months, and those cost $30. Whether you are looking to clear your acne, prevent acne, or just want a good clean wash at the end of the day, this will do for you.

What made me so apprehensive was the fact that people had said it would break you out before it would clear your skin. The first thing i thought of when I heard that was Pro-Active and how HORRIBLE that had left my skin, and that was their catch phrase. It did not make me break out in any way shape or form, but cleansed deeply and effectivley.

My skin breaks out if i touch it, put the wrong powder on, or if i look at it weird, and this has done NO wrong. If i do get a pimple (which occurs when i decide to sleep in my makeup OOPS), this machine will bring it to a head that is easy to get rid of, OR will make it dissolve quicker than if i hadn't been using the Clairsonic.

Great purchase/investment and am glad i chose it.

I finally broke down and bought this product, and am THRILLED that I did! I have combination, acne prone skin and have been using various products since I first visited the dermatologist in 5th grade. Generally I have decent skin, but recently started breaking out on my cheeks/cheekbones about once a month (if you know what I'm saying). It seemed like by the time my breakout cleared up, another popped up. I have been using the Clarisonic Mia for about a month now, and my acne is 99% better. My breakouts, which I had before I purchased it, are almost completely gone and I haven't had any new ones. My skin looks better than it ever has -- clearer and more radiant. Also, it hasn't caused my skin any irritation -- which is a complete miracle for my hyper-sensitive skin. I definitely recommend this product!!

I've been using my clarsonic for about eight months on my combination, rosacea skin. I have to say the sensitive brush head that came with my Mia didn't really do a great deal. My skin felt more exfoliated and better washed but it wasn't a huge difference. I switched to a deep pore cleansing brush - and wow - what a difference. I was expecting this brush to be rougher and harsher on my skin but it feels as soft to me as the sensitive head really. My skin has cleared up a lot since I've been using it - fewer dry patches, fewer milia and spots, and more radiant. I guess this brush head works much better for my skin. It has in no way aggravated my rosacea, but it definitely hasn't improved it in any way either. I had no expectations that it would so no worries! Pretty happy now, as I was a bit concerned I'd wasted money on my clarisonic.

I received the Mia as a gift and definitely experienced benefits! It improved skin radiance, texture, and eliminated dry patches on my combo complexion. Pre-Mia, my skin was decent/good but slightly dull with dry patches and flakes. Post-Mia, when added to my routine of gentle glycolic face wash (Mario Badescu), evening Rx retinol (Renova), and a moisturizer and sunscreen (Amore Pacific), my skin's overall condition got much nicer! It is smoother, makeup looks better, and bare skin looks supple, soft, and glowy. I only use it every 2-3 days to prevent overexfoliation and barely skim my skin, per my derm, and it has really been great for my complexion.

WOW!!! What a great little tool! I have nothing bad to say about it! Except it just didnt do it for me. I have super dry skin and it says its great even for that but i just didnt see that greatness! I cleanses really well and my skin felt so lovely and clean but as far as i could see, that was all it did do for me. Unfortunately i cannot justify the cost when it just made my skin feel nice and clean. my muslin cloth does that really well! And since my skin is so dry, there are virtually no big dirty deep pores to clean out. As most people say they had the "break-out" phase. my skin doesnt even produce oil to go thru that phase so it was a no go for me. i even used it only twice a week to see if that helped but no difference in my skin. I feel it has been designed with the oily skin in mind which is why that skin type will see biggest improvement but sadly not me. very clever and luxury concept.

This product is amazing. I was struggling with miniature bumps on my forehead and the this cleared it up within a month. I no longer have obvious whiteheads on my nose and pimples are rare. It does a very thorough job cleansing but it can feel a bit harsh. When my skin is really dry, I tend to stay away from the clarisonic even though I use the sensitive brush. I use it in combination with the gel cleanser in the kit. Works amazing! I couldn't imagine being without it.

This product is great for men, women, anyone for any concern. It gently dislodges debris out of your skin, and lightly exfoliates as you wash your face. Using it every day allows all of your skincare products to work efficiently and effectively. Unlike knock offs this products brush oscillates back and forth releasing impurities from the skin. The knock offs spin, which stretches the skin which will in fact weaken the skin causing loss of elasticity. If you are going to buy a cleansing brush there is only one brand you should trust. It's Clarisonic.

I've been using the Mia for over a year now and wouldn't be without it. I previously used Olay's face brush and this is such an improvement. I use the sensitive skin brush because of my fickle skin and the fact that I'm 54. My skin is softer and smoother and my pores look smaller. If I go without using the Mia I can tell it. It holds a charge for a long time- I think I've charged it 4 times in the past year. I use my cleanser and my exfoliator with it. Really got rid of the dry, flaky areas around my nose. I started out using it once a day and now use it twice daily. It was definitely costly but is well made and I expect it to last many years. I purchased mine at Ulta just in case I didn't like it........they have a great return policy.

My mom bought this for me 2 years ago and I must say, I'm impressed. I didn't think it would do much, but after a week of use, my skin texture changed. Any blackheads I had were gone and my pores did shrink slightly. I wish I had the one for the body because I would love this for my back. It also holds a charge for a really long time. Major bonus!
