ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE. It smells a lot better than "fancy". "Fancy" smells too much like caramel. "Fancy Love" is sweet and more girly, in my opinion. I would definitely reccommend this to all the women out there. It is very long lasting and has wonderful staying power :)

Our Walgreens had this around Mother's Day and I spritzed it from their tester. I was at first doubtful, as it came out of the bottle a bit cloying and strong. I did my shopping and about a half hour later as I was checking out the cashier asked me what perfume I was wearing because she said it smelled wonderful. I smelled my hand an realized that it had dried down to an amazingly soft peachy-vanilla fragrance without too much sweetness. I love sweet scents and use "Pink Sugar-Aquolina" and "Lolita-Lempika" and I have to say that "Fancy Love" smells better than either of them. The staying power is all day on my skin, which is very unusual for me. I usually bypass celeb scents because they usually all have that really fruity thing going on, but this one is different in a lovely, soft, yummy but clean way. I am not especially fond of the bottle as I can't see how much is in the bottle. For the price this fragrance compares to the really high end scents for me.. I will definitely buy again and again.

I really like this! It has a hollister store smell to it to me, with sweet notes mixed in. I have had alot of brand name perfumes that I love but staying power isn't that good. But this one does stay! I can say that I am super excited to have bought this one!!

I love the smell of Victoria Secret Pink fresh & clean but it doesnt last at all so I remembered the notes in the Fancy Love were similiar. I purchased a small bottle at KMart for 14.00. This is the opposite of Fancy, not sweet at all. I love the fresh, clean notes in this , I smell sandlewood and its a very nice scent. I am very happy with the Jessica Simpson fragrances.

I have no idea WHY this has higher ratings than "Fancy" itself..
This perfume smells disgusting! At first, it smells kinda sweet with hints of peach and floral.. A few seconds later, it smells disgusting! The floral smell is gross and it just stinks..
Idk how to describe it, but I wore it today and my co-worker said "Why do you smell like pesticide?"
It's so disgusting.. Smells like an old grandma's perfume but worse. The smell smothers you.

I bought this WITHOUT smelling it first, because Fancy is my HG..
They should not have named this "Fancy Love." It smells like Fancy mixed with a really bad air freshener.. it's so disgusting. Definitely a disappointing perfume. I love perfume, and this made me feel so nasueus. That has never happened to me.
I wanted to throw up because it just wouldn't wash off my arms.. ick.

This is the 1st perfume that I bought in the largest size 3.4 oz. I usually grow tired of scents fairly quickly and usually just buy the 1 oz, but I loved this fragrance so much that I had to get the big daddy size! I usually don't buy celebrity inspired fragrances, but just one sniff of this in a magazine and I had to have it! I think the best time to wear it is in colder weather, because it has a creaminess to it that makes it so cozy to wear in cold weather. I definitely get whiffs of vanilla and peach in this scent, and it lasts a LONG time on me. I can spray it twice in the morning and still smell it slightly when I get home from work. The packaging is pretty, but I hate that I can't tell how much of it I have used b/c it is so opaque. Other than that, this fragrance is pretty much perfect!

This perfume =LOVE! seriously, it's a light perfume, just 1 spray and it lasts all day long. I get so many compliments wearing this. Me and my 2 friends got this at BCF for $19.99 and all 3 of us had to have it! Fancy love smells even better than the regular one, it has a little bit of a vanilla smell to it, it's so sweet! I will def be re-purchasing this!

Loved this fragrance when it first came out at the department store but was unwilling to pay the huge price tag for a 1.7 oz. bottle. I finally found a 1 oz bottle on sale at CVS and purchased it. Very feminine and sweet fragrance. I've gotten compliments on this edp. Not a huge fan of celebrity fragrances but this one is an exception.

Someone else wrote this smells like Burberry London and it definitely does!!!!! I noticed that as well but, I like Fancy Love better actually. London is beautiful but I love this one more... it's different on me and get LOTS of compliments. It does stay close to the skin and has a nice comforting effect somehow. It's creamy but not sickly sweet. It lasts a long time (always a plus for me) and I love the bottle. I smelled it because I love Fancy and actually like this a bit more. This is more day while Fancy is stronger and more for night. I am very pleasantly suprised that this "celebrty" scent is actually very good and would definitely buy again. I'm actually on my 2nd bottle!

Ever since this came out, I have longed for this. The smell is unusual for me, almost a little musky with slight citris notes and not sweet at all on me. Most of the time it smells fresh and clean. I wear this to work, yes a nurse and shouldn't but moving and shaking all day, a little squirt keeps me smelling fresh without overpowering. I have had numerous people tell me I smell good including docs, co workers, patients and even my brother-in-laws and my husband. I asked if it was overpowering or irritating and they all told me no way! They just loved it. This fragrance works for me. I wear it nearly every day. I have prob ten fragrances and four are new including regular fancy--which is ok, Ed hardy love and luck and twighlight and I just seem to gravitate toward this and makes me feel clean and good.

I bought this unsniffed based on the reviews, which is always hit or miss for me. I was trying to decide whether I should try Fancy or Fancy Love, and decided on Fancy Love.


I'm surprised that I haven't seen anyone else point out that this smells IDENTICAL to Burberry London. Immediately upon application of Burberry London, it's way too stong, very heavy, and way too sweet. After maybe 30 minutes though, Burberry fades into a beautiful, soft, clean scent. Unfortunately, Fancy love does not. Fancy Love stays pretty much the same even a few hours later. One or two squirts of FL is more than enough. I was really hoping that after the initial syrupy sweetness faded, FL would reveal some other notes, but it did not. I like Burberry London very much. Fancy Love - not so much. It's giving me quite a headache. I like it a little, but it's certainly not worth repurchasing. I would much rather have replaced my almost empty bottle of Burberry, rather than buy a large bottle of it's sappy, big-haired twin.


Other than that, the bottle is certainly different, and I think it's cute, but ultimately, the bottle is not why we buy fragrance.


I'm going to give Fancy a try, but I'll be sure to purchase from a store nearby with a liberal return policy just in case, rather than online, where I have to go through the hassle of mailing in my return, or worse, being stuck with it.


Add on: Apparently a few people did point out the similarities between FL and Burberry. But I'm so immensely confused by some of the reviews. I see some people saying that this perfume is light, others saying it's floral, others saying it's not a sweet as some perfumes, some pointing ouot a peach scent, and I'm totally dumbfounded. This, to me, is almost Obsession sweet. I smell no peach, no floral, no subtle-ness - just super sweet, heavy syrup. I even saw someone say that Fancy was sweeter than Fancy Love. Although I haven't yet smelled Fancy, I wonder how it's possible for anything to be sweeter. Maybe I won't be trying Fancy afterall. I feel like I need to bathe in men's cologne right now to counteract the sweetness of the 2 squirts I applied 3 hours ago.

This is a beautiful, subtle fragrance that smells like peach ice cream or a peach vanilla smoothie. In terms of sillage, it stays very close to the skin, unlike the original Fancy, which is stronger.

It is February now, and I suspect that in the summer months, this fragrance will still smell good without being too overpowering. Having sampled this a few times now, I will definitely buy a full bottle.

I have found that the only way to like this perfume is to apply it lightly. About 1 or 2 full sprays per 6-8 hours will do it. Then you'll smell pretty and not cloying. This definitely has cloying potential, so be careful when applying. Overall, it's ok. I do like it. But I'm a perfume addict and I already know that I will not buy this one again. It's just not high enough on my list of perfume favorites.

I loooove this perfume! I was not a fan of fancy at all, i like sweet smelling perfumes, not musky ones. And this perfume is perfect for my skin. I can spray this in the morning and come home at night and it smells like it just came out of the bottle, yet its so light! Im addicted :)

I LOVE this perfume! I hated Fancy but during my lunch hour one day, I decided to spray Fancy Love on my hand and I loved it so much that after work I HAD to go pick it up. I'm normally not attracted to sweet perfumes but this has a nice subtleness to it and great staying power. I get tons of compliments everytime I wear it and I agree that it smells like the original Burberry because that's what everyone thinks I'm wearing. I'm almost done with my first bottle and I will definitely be buying another!

I like this fragrance, and I'm not a floral lover, so that says a lot. There's a beautiful vanillic peachiness to this that I just adore. The florals are balanced by the peach and it smells soft and fresh. I can see men really liking this scent. It's feminine and innocently sexy. Great for a casual date. The lasting power is excellent. It's not heavy in the least bit but the smell does linger. I'm a huge fan of the original Fancy. But I consider the original Fancy more of a going out fragrance, and this is Fancy Love is the perfect daily scent. It's just so much lighter than Fancy and I associate light with casual wear. I'm not crazy about the bottle. It's the same bottle as Fancy, only white and with gold accents. Personally I find it too plain. Actually it's downright boring. They certainly could have designed a cuter looking bottle, something that would be a pretty addition to a girl's dresser. If I had to sum this perfume up in one word, I'd call it BEACHY. It smells like a fun, romantic day in the sun. I must say, I just love Jessica's fragrances. If you love creamy florals, this is a must try!

First off it's a lovely blend that smells like grapefruits on me (not sure why) and creamy expensive vanilla. Then it dries gradually down in perfect combination to a sticky, powdery, murky vanilla dust that is dreadful. Not sure what happened, but it gets 4 lippies for the onset and zero for how it ends. I guess that averages out to two lippies. No sale on this end.

As a frgrance hoarder with perfume ADD, there are very very few scents I ever finish, let alone buy another bottle of. Jessica Simpson Fancy Love is one of only 2 perfumes that I have loved enough to repurchase (the other is Prada Infusion d'Iris). It is strange, because like with so many of my favorites, I gave this one sniff in a magazine and passed it right over the first time. I'm so glad I gave it a second smell! This is the most beautifully feminine and dainty perfume I have ever smelled. It has no age or season, it is simply perfection. The lasting power is great as well. When I open up my closet I can still smell this delicious perfume on my clothes.
