This is a pleasant, fresh smelling green/floral but it didn't really grab me. It's nice but nothing spectacular on my skin.

I received a sample of this at Sephora. I didn't hate it, but I didn't go crazy for it either. The smell is pretty simple and light. It would be good in the summer. For some reason, it doesn't last long on me at all. I would not purchase a full-size bottle.

Fell in love with this in Paris last summer and have regretted not buying it ever since. My sweet hubby gave it to me today for Mother's Day. It's such a beautiful green-and-white floral! Not too sweet, not too raw-green, but a nice, truly rich balance. I've been used to literally splashing on watered-down body sprays, so I overdid it a bit when I first applied this--its lasting power is admirable, and it stays true-to-scent all day long. Parfum d'Ete leaves me feeling clean and fresh and peaceful and classy--what more could I ask?! (I got a screaming deal on this from strawberrynet.com.)

This fragrance is not for me, simply because i don't like florals. Sung for Women is a dead ringer for this if you are looking for an alternative. Coincidentally, i gave that one away too. I'm just a fruity/spicy, perfume choices are so personal.

A simple clean, fresh floral... a classic. You can't go wrong with this one.

I agree with the other review fo this scent. It is a rather fresh and uncomplicated scent. I find that when I'm having a rough day, this one makes me feel very serene. Truly a beautiful scent. Apparently, they're getting ready to change the packaging and the formula which I think is terrible. The current formula is beautiful and I love the leaf-shaped bottle.

This is a VERY nice old standby I recently purchased again for my Wedding Anniversary (it was the scent I was wearing on our first date:)). Also one of the VERY few fragrances my hubby has commented positivly on(the other one's are La Chasse aux Papillons, Chanel Gardenia, and Fracas). This was THE fragrance that personified my early 20's! While everyone and their mother was wearing Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers, I was wearing this. It has that "Sunshine in a bottle" smell like Sunflowers, but it is FAR more chic and modern (it should be considering it's about twice the price!).This is a beautiful green/floral fragrance with notes of sap, green leaves, peony, freesia, moss, and orris.
Very fresh, clean, and summery. I really like it, which is actually the problem:
I used to LOVE it! In the 3 weeks I've had it I've only worn it 4 times. It seems just a little too clean and uncomplicated for me now (but oh, how I reminisce when I wear it!) I think I'm going to post this one on ebay. It's just too beautiful of a fragrance to sit and gather dust in my vanity!
