I don't know what possessed me to buy this mascara, but am I glad I did. I have these short Asian lashes and they were noticeably elongated in a natural way. Great for everyday use. I also loved the fact that even after 2 coats, my lashes did not get all brittle and clumped together. No smudging after all day of wear!! This is a great mascara. My previous favorite was Lancome Definicils and L'Oreal Voluminous. But I notice that the Definicils makes my lashes hard and stuck together after 2 coats.

I love it! The bristles are great and they grab on to every lash. Very natural with just enough drama.

Wow, very impressed with this. This did not flake or smudge all day. It is not thickening though. I will rebuy again because lately every mascara I have tried has flaked or smudged except for this.

I randomly picked this mascara during a quick run to Target. I recently tried Diorshow and was not at all impressed. It was okay but not at all worth the price. Then I got Maybelline Great Lash but it flaked and smudged under my eyes. L'oreal's Bare Naturale has not at all flaked off or smudged. It might not be super dramatic but it lives up to its name.

The perfect office mascara. It looks glossy and natural, even with a couple of coats. No flaking or transfer, which can be a problem with mascara--at least, for those of us who have to load up the undereye concealer! My lashes are long, so I can't tell if it lengthens, but I don't need it to. This mascara reminds me a lot of Accentuous, an old L'oreal mascara (and a former HG) I don't think they make anymore. Love a mascara that performs like this and isn't waterproof! Plus, they always go BOGO. I always have a couple in backup. I've had my current tube in use for three months with no dryout and there still seems to be plenty of product.

This mascara is worth every penny in my opinion. I have tried quite a few mascaras and this one has triumphed over all in separating, lengthening and nourishing my lashes. The packaging is nothing dazzling but the brush is fantastic. When you have a fresh tube the mascara can be a bit excessive and stick your lashes together a little, but just keep a lash separator on hand the first few uses. Also the mascara doesn't flake, smear or make lashes brittle, but it comes off easily with only water. So don't wear it if your going for a dip at the local pool. If you are looking for a water proof version try L'oreal waterproof voluminous mascara.

I was very skeptical about this mascara- I like about half of the mascaras in L'oreal's line, but I found this on a huge clearance with three other products packaged with it. I have to admit- I like it, and I'd buy it again. It is NOT "natural" in the least, but a decent one-coater when you are in a hurry or want a casual look. Does not flake or smudge on my oily skin, either!

I have long, thin, blonde lashes...I really did not like this mascara....it made my lashes clump, and look really brittle. it was really wet and it made my lashes spider looking....it was one of the worst. this mascara did nothing for volume or length. just wet, clumped spider lashes

L'Oréal makes great mascaras at affordable prices, and this is no exception. It does a superb job of separating and lengthening my rather sparse and short lashes, and it wears all day with hardly any smudging. It doesn't really thicken lashes all that much, and when I try to layer it, my lashes start to clump together, but the results with one layer are very, very good.

i just bought this at walgreens for BOGOF.
it does a great job at making your lashes look natural.
it's does lengthen but that's it.
if you're looking for thickening or anything dramatic, don't go for this.
i got it in black brown & i really like it. it does an awesome job at being "natural".

This is hands down the best mascara I have ever used. I have discovered it's not a great one for laying on coats but it does wonders separating, thickening and lengthening! And it looks so natural! (haha so hence the name...) It did not flake either. This stuff truly is great. And i love the want as well! I will definitely be buying this again!

Good overall basic mascara, does not make your lashes dramatic or add length but, I have found that it looks very natural for a day at the office.


***Edit: This mascara eventully made my eyelashes dry and brittle, I have since switched to full and soft thanks to recommendations from fellow mua'rs. -2 lippies, I would not buys again

I had been looking for a mascara that looked very natural on my sensitive eyes-this is it! It does not cake or clump and the black brown looks like my eye lashes-only better. I have very sensitive eyes and this did not make them red or irritated, and it actually felt like it was moisturizing my lashes. Would buy again!

I originally bought this as early christmas gifts for my mom and two sisters, well I decided to try it myself and I love it! I love that you can get this mascara in black brown as well, but this one I tried was black. I loved the mascara as soon as I took the wand out! The bristles are soft and spread apart, and it separates the lashes wonderfully! I was very impressed. The brush does not come out with tons of product caked on, which I like cause I usually wipe my brushes off because they have too much excess. It is a little more pricier than my rimmel, but I would buy it again.

A winner! It lengthens my already-long lashes and makes them look natural--only better! Brings out my eyes and I love the soft, soft bristles of the brush. The package claims that the mascara has a luminescent shine. That did not happen yet I haven't found a mascara that truly makes my lashes "shine." No problem. I loved the mascara anyway. I will definitely buy another tube at some point.

This mascara lengthened my lashes and provided good definition and volume without clumping them. The effect is long and lush lashes that look natural. My lashes did droop a little a few hours after application, but so far it has not smudged or flaked on me, so now I can safely throw away my Double Extend Beauty Tubes since that was previously the only mascara that doesn't smudge on me. This is probably the closest thing to my HG mascara, though I did wish it held my curl better.

I really love this mascara. It has a very simple brush, nothing fancy. It's lengthens really well and thickens nicely, but not as nicely as my holy grail (Bourjois Volume Clubbing). I grab this a lot for those times I'm in a hurry and want to just brush something on really quickly. Also for those times where I don't want to take forever to wash my mascara off at night. It's not waterproof, but it tays on pretty well and doesn't flake...I love that. I recommend this.

This is good for a mass market brand mascara (it's around $9)-- it goes on smoothly and does not clump. Thiickens nicely. Does not smudge as much as other drugstore mascaras. Would probably not re-purchase as I just like my Shiseido and Dior mascaras so much more.

Like every other woman out there, I am forever searching for the perfect mascara.
This mascara is really great. It was less than $10 and the packaging is actually pretty nice. I got it in blackest black. I am now wearing more natural colors, so the "natural" advertising of this product was alluring to me. It is not, however, very natural looking on me. Maybe I should have bought brown instead.. lol.. but oh well. I love it anyways. I was currently in love with neutregena's mascara with olive oil in it.. cant recall the name.. but since i started using loreal, i love this much better.. doesnt clump or flake.. pretty easy to remove.. lasts a long time and was fairly inexpensive. I would def buy another tube when this is gone.. i have tossed out my other 'scaras such as covergirls lashblash and neutrogena, and loreal hip.. imo, much better than those ;)

I tried this product because all the reviews said that the product did not flake, but mine flaked like crazy. It goes on nicely but Will not use again or repurchase.
