This is very volumising on my lashes and they don't end up clumped together, but they do look somewhat spidery so I have to be very careful when applying this. However I don't find this thickens my lashes at all. It doesn't dry out on my lashes, they are still moveable. It's one of the better mascaras I've tried but whether or not I would repurchase is 50/50.
I like the wand as it makes it easier to get into the corners, but obviously different people like different styles of wand, and it will depend on your eyeshape as well.
To give some comparison, I like it better than Lancome Hypnose.

I got a panda-eye effect with this mascara. Yes the applicator looks new...sylish package...but every time I apply this it doesnt seem to dry on the lashes and leaves black prints beneath the eyes. And just like someone said, hard to get it on and super hard to get rid of. I wiped it off with Givenchy 2 clean remover with a cotton pad twice, meticulouslly, and after I am out of the shower I still got panda eyes. Is it the mascara or the remover? In any case I am now skeptical about Givenchy makeup and soins too...

Yes. You have to follow the application instructions enclosed within the box that the mascara comes in---I've never seen instructions on mascara like that before so I did exactly as it said to do.

For the first time in my life my sparse, fine but yet long (bleached out on the ends for some reason) eyelashes went VAVOOOM. I had beautiful lashes that looked like very expensive falsies.

Is this a look for the grocery? Not for me. I'm 49 yrs old. This for me is a look for a romantic dinner with my Husband or a night out dancing with him. I will keep this on hand forever though. I won't let myself run out of this as long as they make it.

Ugh...I so had high hopes for this product. So it did give my lashes pretty good length and volume, decent...nothing absolutely amazing. But it smudges around an hour after I put it on...so badly that it looks like I splashed my face with water, then rubbed my eyes. Definitely taking this back...

I can't wait for the passing fad for this type of mascara wand to go away ~ back to the Land of Ridiculosity from whence it came.

And it doesn't work, to boot! Not for me, at any rate. I applaud those who have the manual dexterity and patience to apply their mascara this way. More power to them. It took me a while in adolescence to get over my apprehesion of poking a wand near my eyes and now I'm being asked to put what resembles a medieval torture instrument near them?! I think NOT.

Seriously though, I tried it and COULD. NOT. GET decent coverage or length with a wand like this. This round wand fad's filtered down to drugstore level and now every line seems to have a similar product. Now if it worked, I could get used to it but the application was spotty, there was no eveness and I ended up with spidery lashes that flaked badly during the day.

The only 'Phenomenon' I observe is that it seems to sell like the proverbial hotcakes. On my eyes, this was hopelessly ineffective.

(Did I mention I shan't be buying this again?)

To be honest, this is a great mascara!! It does lengthen and curl my short lashes. I don't need to use lash curler before I use this mascara. It does curl my lashes by its own. Awesome! The price is expensive though, so i would not repurchase again.

I bought this in the waterproof forumala and consider this the perfect mascara to grab those inner eyelashes! Latches on perfectly due to the spherical shape! Doesn't irritate my eyes, but I have to admit that it may take some time getting used to for others! Recommended this to a friend and after countless tries she gave up as she just found it too 'inconvenient'.

This mascara definitely gives you the false eyelash look. I love the fact that the style of applicator got all the little eyelashes to give a fuller look. On the other hand it didn't hold a curl and it transfers. After a couple of hours I had the makings of raccoon eyes. For the price there are better mascaras out there.

Let me start by saying that i am a real mascara junkie. I have tried soooo many mascaras ranging from your high end Chanel, Dior, Lancome etc to drug store brands, such as Maybelline, Rimmel, Collection 2000 and until recently i have still been searching for "The One" (my HG of mascaras)

Up until now i have been fairly happy with Heroine Make "kiss me" mascara in the long and curl version. This was a pretty decent one with good curl holding power, however it was a nightmare to remove (top tip, if your going to try this then invest in the special mascara remover)

I watched several reviews on the Givenchy mascara and to be honest thought it was a little "gimmicky" with the bizarre looking brush however i decided to bite the bullet and give it a try-ended up purchasing it on ebay for approx £12.00, which was a good price as it usually retails at £19.50.

As usual i first curled my eyelashes with my shu's and then started to apply the mascara ensuring that i followed the same process on the Youtube tutorials. Basically DO NOT apply this mascara like you would do with a conventional one, you need to hold the wand vertically and push up through the eyelashes in single strokes. If you apply this like a normal mascara then the results will not be as good-to be honest i think a lot of the negative reviews of this product is based on people not using the mascara correctly.
Anyway..... the result is fab, VERY long, voluminous lashes-mine almost reach my eyebrows and the colour is a lush black and i would say that it almost looks like i am wearing false eyelashes.
I do agree that this mascara does tend to cling to your lashes (i use the non waterproof one) However this is not a problem if you invest in a decent remover such as Chanels bi phase one (brilliant product)

Go and buy this mascara, however i do recommend you watch youtube to ensure that the application is correct

I know, someone likes this mascara, but it's not my product.
The brush is not covenient for me, and i don't know why, but it didn't dry on my lashes.. I waited for an hour and it still left prints on my eyelids! Never had such problem with other mascaras.

i bought this on a flight from italy, so i bought it tax free. it did cost me 19euros which in my opinion is a good deal for a good mascara. the wand is obviously good because it helps you reach every lash without leaving black marks all over your eyes, it gives length and thickness.... but i'm not gonna lie, you need to work it well while you separate the lashes otherwise it will look wierd. overall a great mascara.... once you learn how to use it! :)

Absolutely loved this mascara, gave my horrible lashes lots of length and curl and volume, never flaked on me but it was a bit difficult to take off, i would have loved this mascara even more but my eyes are incredibly sensitive and every time that I would wear it my eyes would get really red and start to burn! :( If it wasn't for that then this would be my HG mascara!

Alright, let's start with the brush. Everyone can say that the unique brush is what brought us to this product. I find that the brush works really well, to get each and every corner of every lash, and it's not too big nor too small. In general, I think it is a good mascara; it wasn't clumpy, and made my lashes thick and fuller. Although, it did take quite some time to remove, and stuck to my skin after trying to remove it all. Mine isn't waterproof, but still, unfortunately, is difficult to clean. Other than that, this mascara is fabulous, and I will buy it again!

I'm sure that every girl can agree that the really cool and unique wand for this mascara really lured us in. It is ultimately the best mascara I have ever used! It gave me eyelashes that i didn't even know I had. My eyelashes became so long that they were stretching over my eyelids and curling. Any girl who is looking for long lashed should use this. It isn't the cheapest mascara, since it IS Givenchy, but the money is worth it. It gives me a crazy amount of length, and also volume. It is the PERFECT mascara! The only problem I have with it, is how long it takes to remove. I don't buy the waterproof kind, but it is still so hard to take off! By the time I've rubbed and rubbed and washed ans washed, there are still sticky clumps clinging to my lashes, that i have to deal with in the morning.

I bought this a while back when it first came out very eager to try the cool ball looking wand. I was so disappointed. At first I thought I just wasn't use to the new wand design but after a while of messing around with it I was fed up. Although it got to every lash and it lengthens, it would also clump and I find myself having raccoon eyes very quickly. It also didn't hold me curls at all.

Maybe the "ball" is perfect for reaching every single lash, but honestly I found it painful to use, and didn't like the way my lashes looked after a couple of hours. I'll stick to Too Faced Lash Inyection.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara. I was a faithful user of Diorshow Blackout for some years, but finally ventured off and decided to try new things. I have to admit that the ball like brush was what initially intrigued me, but upon trying this fabulous concotion, I fell in love. My lashes have never looked so fabulous. Originally when i first started using DiorShow Blackout, I thought my lashes couldn't look more fabulous. After time though, I realized they didn't have the oomph they needed. The Givenchy mascara has got me hooked. I curl my lashes with the Shu Eumura mini lash curler, then apply a light coat on my top lashes a voila!!! I highly recommend this to anyone. I am a product junkie and always looking for the next best thing. I have no issues with clumping, my lashes sticking together, having difficult applying the mascara like some reviewers, so i'm not quite sure about all that, this definitely allows the user much more control over how they apply their mascara. I LOVE IT!

The original spiky ball pseudo-torture device masquerading as a brush...and what an innovation. The brush is great - it really allows full coverage of all lashes, both sides, upper and lower lashes. It tickles me when I first apply the mascara but there's no pleasure without pain, right? My problem is that the formulation of the mascara results in very sticky lashes. When my lashes dry they clump together, and after a few hours, they are glued together. It takes a long time to remove this makeup. The price is a sore point too - I can't see paying this much for something that ends up glue-y. I do fantasize about using the brush with some other mascara formulas....

Indeed the best mascara I've ever used, and I have used ALOT. I have never had a clumping problem, the lashes are beautifully separated and look fluffy. It's fun to try different methods with that funky looking brush and I love the packaging - it's easy for traveling. I don't mind spending money if the product is good, and I think it is worth every penny. I've tried wearing a lighter color eyeliner and eye shadow, and the lashes really pop. I'm definitely sold!
