This product was the perfect winter moisturizer for my combination skin. I am oily in the t-zone and dry on my cheeks. My skin tends to be a bit drier in winter, but I still break out. This product made my skin glow, without being greasy. It is a little too heavy for summer, but I couldn't do without it in the winter!

I adore this moisturizer! My skin is really dry but heavy creams can make it greasy. As soon as I tried this one, not only does it moisturize completely, it keeps my skin clear and smooth. This is not terribly pricey; you only need a little bit. This is my HG!

Really honestly this does the trick w/o harsh ingredients. It is super soothing and leave my (dry sensitive red head skin) (and my guy's) skin - well... perfect! No breakouts. And I have to disagree with any naysayers who says this has no anti aging properties - We are 34 and look about 24 - we have been using for 8 years. If you take care of your skin and keep it healthy then you dont need harsh chemicals. This is the PERFECT moisturizer and you can not beat the price!

I have been using Kiehls Panthenol Cream for a few years now. I have sensitive dryish skin that tends to breakout when I'm stress, don't sleep enough, or just don't take care of my skin. Before I started using the cream...I was starting to get dry patches and after the cream...no more dry patches. It is true that it leaves a sort of film on your skin, but that's one of the reasons why I like it. In the morning when I was with just water I sometimes can still feel that "layer"...I really like it because that's how I know it's moisturizing and somehow protecting at the same time. The only downside for me is that the cream tends to be a little thick...difficult to apply to your face. Decently priced for a good size jar...it is my favorite!!!

I have extremely dry skin (especially in the winter) and have very sensitive skin. After reading a bunch of reviews, I went and bought this product. WOW, it is amazing! Definetely does its job of moisturizing. Goes on great and soaks in immediately making it great for wearing under makeup. I put on a suncreen moisturizer, then this on top and my face has never felt so great!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR DRY SKIN!

Ugh...I really do hate this stuff. I bought a hug tub of it and started using it. It left a flim, it broke me out, it just felt WRONG on my skin. So I drifted away and came back to it a few months later. Hate it still! FYI: cetaphil's moisturizer for dry skin is the exact copy of this (it's in a huge green tub for $11) It will also give you the cystic pimples and greasiness and non moisturizing effect that the panthenol protein moisturizer does...so if you're into that sort of thing..

i've been using this cream for over a year and i love it. i have really dry skin (more normal to dry in the summer) but use this day and night all year round. my skin soaks it up and i never have any flakey patches or breakouts from this. also, my first 2 oz. jar lasted me 9 months so a little definitely goes a long way. it's just too bad there's no sunscreen in this.

I tried the Abysinne and Lycopene and I like this best. Perfect for dry winter skin. I thought the Lycopene would be best(it's $60), but this one moisturizes better and it's $16. Doesn't break me out and gives me soft skin. This is my HG!

I really like this moisturizer. I use it as a night cream when I need a soothing moisture boost and the Ultra Facial Moisturizer for day in the winter. It is just the right amount of richness to combat the drying weather. My skin is combination with dryness in winter, oily in summer. This moisturizer isn't greasy, but leaves my face feeling nourished. It doesn't have any special effects, like anti-aging, but it doesn't need to. It is a good mid-range simple moisturizer.

I have combination skin that can break out at the same time as being dry, if you know what I mean - and this gorgeous simple product is perfect. Don't use too much - try just a dab at first and then more if you really need it. But it smooths over dry patches and doesn't make broken-out patches worse. Doesn't sound much but it's the HG for me! Perfect.

love this cream. this stuff IS heavy, but it has cure my dryness, remove my dry lines and *whiteheads* (no kidding!) i use this at night only, cos i live in Hong Kong (super hot and humid) and it's summer now. It doesn't sink in too well if i didn't have the air-conditioner on. But weather it sinks in or not, it can still make my skin glows the following morning without breaking me out. Compared to similar products available here, i consider this cream cheap (esp when this cream is that emollient, a little goes a long way)
just one last note: i have normal to dry slightly sensitive skin

I LOVE this moisturizer.. my dry/sensitive skin feels sooo soft. It is expensive, but I find I don't need to put on as much as I do with other creams.. so I guess it balances it out. I'll have to wait and see how long the jar lasts me. But my skin is feeling WONDERFUL which is a nice change from the exzema flare ups I have been having.

This is one of my favorite moisurizers. First, I love the price (2 oz. for 16 USD). Second, I love the texture- it's slightly on the thick side, but I love that. I use this as a day cream. I use DDF Moisurizing Photo-Age Protection (SPF 30) on top. Perfect combination! I have tried so many different creams, but I always come back to this one.
Note that I have dry skin.

After hearing a lot of hype from my friend about this, I decided to try it for myself. I really liked it at first, but then kind of got turned off by it. I don't know what it was about it..it just didn't seem to be moisturizing very well. It just wouldn't sink in. I'm not sure, but it didn't seem to be doing anything for me. It's only 15.00 (at Nordstrom), so nothing terribly expensive.

This is an AWESOME product for my dry but acne-prone skin. I came to Kiehl's complaining of debilitating dryness which was causing bad lines to appear around my mouth and my forehead. The SA suggested that I use this cream as a night treatment. A month later, my lines are GONE, my skin is soft and smooth, and best of all, it even seems to help fade acne scars. I am very happy with the results and will be repurchasing again for sure.

This is wonderful for my dry skin! I use it at night year-round and for my daytime moisturizer during the winter. Leaves my skin feeling dewey and soothed. My red capillaries actually seem paler when I'm religious about using it. Great product!

The texture is very thick and seems to take forever to sink in even though I have quite a dry skin. It's awful during summer due to the greasiness and the heaviness of the cream but works well for winter or when the weather tend to be cold, windy and dry. Agree with the suggestion below that you should rub it in your palm first otherwise you will get too much of it on your skin. I use it as a night cream and usually wake up to find my face soft and nice. It doens't have any spectacular impact though but since it works so well during winter I guess I will repurchase this as the winter-only cream. I wish it comes in any other kind of package just to keep the unused product fresh.

This cream is definately not for everyone. It's texture is not liquid creamy, it's more of a solid. Therefore, it doesn't spread very well. Putting it on like a normal moisturizer would probably mean that you get too much on. I tend to rub some between my fingers, and then pat it on.
The moisturizer itself is very nice. It seems to protect my skin rather well, and I never have any flakes using this. My skin doesn't react badly to this, in fact since I bought it, I haven't had any major spots, and the ones I had didn't seem to get too inflamed. I bought it as a night cream, but I use it during the day time too.
