I never really used an exfoliator except for St. Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub, which I absolutely adore but find too harsh for daily usage, especially during winter. So I decided to look for a gentler formula. This product does exactly that. You get a nice warm sensation when you first apply this product, then the glycolic acid kicks in and it feels a little tingly. Don't try to moist your face and experience the thermal feeling again. It doesn't work! I just massage my face for a minute or two and rinse it off. It leaves me with the most radiant, smooth and soft skin ever. It evens helps removing my blackheads, which are super stubborn and impossible to get rid of. Another highly recommended product from Olay.

this is the only way i can exfloiate without severely irritate my sensitve skin. it's a warming, non-foaming purple cream/gel with beads exfloiator. and a flowery scent i like and it's seldom for me to like scent in a product. i agree with other viewers that the warming sensation won't last..more like a gimick..but after a few uses i found my skin to be smoother and more radiant, which is the reason why im using the product. but i only use this twice a week and on the T zone only, so i don't find it to cause me pimple or irritation.
the price is the "high-end at the drug store. around $30 ish if not on sale.

I really like this scrub. It has made a visible difference in my skin clarity and old acne red marks in less than a week. My skin isn't sensitive so it doesn't burn or hurt when I use it - it is more gentle on my skin than Alpha Hydrox 10% AHA gel. I find I get the exfoliation I want without the redness and skin irritation I got from the AH 10% gel. Also, using this product has pushed my regimen (jojoba oil, Neutrogena stress relief BHA and NuCelle Mandelic acid alternated morning and night, and level 6 green cream at night) into a whole new level of effectiveness. My skin glows with clarity and brightness in the morning BEFORE I wash my face. I attribute this breakthrough to all of these products combined. I had hormonal cystic acne, blackheads, whiteheads and mild inflammatory acne. I now am dealing with some stubborn blackheads on my nose and just a few clogged spots on my chin. NOT BAD!!

I agree with the other reviewers, it really does give you a more radiant complexion and all that but after using it on the 3rd time If I recall correctly, I started breaking out. I now have too big pimple scars, one on my chin, and one on my left cheek and I don't even break out this easily, especially on my cheeks! I always get it on the chin for some reason though. I'm scared to use it again! This is a good product but everyone's skin is different.... Hope you have better luck!

I like this product a lot. I bought it since it has glycolic acid and I'm trying to fade older healing acne marks. I use it in the shower so I leave it on while I'm washing/shampooing and when I get out of the shower, my face is very smooth! It's not overly drying either. Although the beads don't really exfoliate as they are too fine but I use a separate scrub if I need simple topical exfoliation.
As for post/healing acne marks, since I'm using more than exfoliating product, I can't say this alone is doing the trick, but I think it's helping. It's obviously getting rid of old dead skin cells. I would repurchase.

Blah, I was expecting this to be a HG since everyone had mostly good things to say about it. I saw no improvement in my skin so far and I actually had a few breakouts...It might be from this product contributing to the breakouts because my face was blemish free. I will continue to use this to see if the condition of my face gets worse or better. I'll update this again later to see if I feel different about product.
PROS: Gentle enough for everyday use (I have senstive, combo skin),nice heating effect though it doesn't last more than like 5 seconds, leaves skin feeling soft.
CONS: When you try to re-wet your face for that 'thermal experience' to last... it doesn't work, EXPENSIVE, causes sun sensitivity and breakouts.

I love this product. Def HG.
I have acne prone skin that easily gets post inflammation hyper-pigmentation ( dark spots where zits were). I have been using this product for about 2 weeks and I already see an improvement. My spots are fading and my skin is brighter, and daily exfoliation really helps keep the pimple away.
I use this in the morning while I am in the shower. I use it before I cleanse because I like the way that the exfoliation, shower steam, and warming feature opens up my pores for when I use my cleanser.
Totally worth the price!!

Great product! I've been using this thermal mini-peel for about six months and I can honestly say that it works. It has gotten rid of a few age spots and fine lines that I had on my face. It renews your skin and makes you look fresher and younger. It also gets rids of blemishes. I will never stop using this product. It feels so great on your skin. I reccomend this product for anyone that has aging skin or blemishes because it helps with both problem areas. I think this is one of Olays best products for anti-aging along with their eye creams. The eye creams are also great.

I have gone back and forth debating whether or not I should buy this for $19.99. After a couple of months, I finally gave in.
I am 29 years old, have combination skin, large pores and prone to acne. I am a smoker and my skin has taken on a dull appearance.
I added the mini-peel to my nightly routine. The 1st night, I used this alone. The next morning, my pores appeared smaller and overall, my skin appeared brighter and smoother. Acne is almost gone.
I have continued this routine every night and wake up every morning with better skin.
Money well spent.

I was using Olay Thermal Skin Polisher and needed to buy another tube. I went to CVS....and had trouble finding it. The reason I couldn't find is that they've changed the name and are now marketing it as "Daily Thermal Mini-Peel". It is EXACTLY the same product. Anyway, I'm on about my 5th tube of this stuff. This is in a squeeze tube and sells for about $14.00 and lasts me about 3 months. I use this only in the mornings, in the shower. It's a blue color and contains "glycolic acid + micro-crystal complex that gently polishes skin's surface for the look of newer skin" (printed on the tube). I very much like it because the crystals are very small and gentle. The "thermal" action is there, but it only lasts about 5 seconds. It says you can "extend the thermal experience" by rewetting your face, but I have never found this to be the case. It washes off easily. My skin glows in the morning after I use this and this, in conjunction with my nightly ritual, ensures that my skin tone is even, soft and younger looking than I am. The only reason I took a lippie off is that it can get hard to push out once it gets toward the bottom of the tube. Here is the ingredient list: PEG-4, Magnesium Sulfate, PEG/PPG-300/55 Copolymer, Polyethylene, Stearyl Alcohol, Dioleoylethyl Hydroxtethymonium, Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Carnosine (Amino Peptid), Glycolic Acid, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Behentrimonium Chloride, Hydroxyproplcellulose Alcohol, Tocopherol, Hexylene Glycol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance, Iron Oxides, Red 33, Blue 1.
You'd have to be a chemist to know most of those are and I'm most definately not, but it works for me. I'll buy it again, even if they change the name again. :)
