Eck. For that kind of money I'm sticking with Kerastase Oleo Relax mask for conditioning (or Kerastase Lait Vital Protein). This smelled nice, but didn't do anything in regards to taming my frizzies or adding moisture.

Back to Sephora it goes...

(same review as protein rx shampoo): Oh my gosh -- this stuff is fabulous! I've just used it once and already my dry, coarse, curly hair looks and feels so much better. Absolutely worth the price.

My hair has never felt softer! It really seemed to help bring out the natural wave in my hair, and make it shine. I use the protein Rx shampoo every three days since my hair is dry and course, and the conditioner twice every three days for the extra moisture. It just gives my hair a glorious, gorgeous, bouncy locks. A word of caution though, too much protein on the hair can actually make the hair dry and brittle, so to keep the good results without over doing it, I would suggest going on breaks with the shea butter line, as well as the occasional apple cider cleanser.
In moderation this is my HG conditioner!

I used this for about 2 yrs-- LOVED it at first. After a while, it felt like it wasn't the same glorious conditioner. I had to stop using the shampoo b/c my scalp started freaking out whenever I used it-- itchy, red. The conditioner wasn't as bad, but I noticed the itching after I used it. The packaging sucks.

The Reparative Conditioner didn't do a lot for me. It actually made me hair feel kind of bark-like! The scent is pretty rich, but the performance is really lack-luster. And the incredibly ugly, generic looking bottles don't help either. A very, very expensive conditioner that was very comparable to a drugstore conditioner.

Awesome conditioner. After blow-drying and straightening...nothing keeps my hair as soft as this stuff. I try any new product that comes out that claims it repairs...this works really well. Would buy it again aside from the smell..sort of gives me a headache! ($20 for a tiny bottle...good for the hair...not for the wallet!)

I said the same thing about the shampoo--this is probably one of the greatest conditioners on earth. I leave it on only for a few minutes, and I get amazing hair--soft, but not overly so (stuff like Redken's All-Soft line caused my hair to glom onto my head in a shiny helmet). Truly moisturized and not coated with silicone/glycerine. Detangling (when wet) is very good--not perfect, but when the results are this fantastic, I could care less. Shiny, healthy hair with body, no gunk or heaviness, it's fantastic. Although scent is last on my list of what I really care about in a great conditioner, Protein Rx is remarkable--it has buttermilk solids, so realize it has a deep milky scent mixed with a fairly heavy vanilla/musk & maybe a dash of sandalwood. It's not remotely floral, fruity or fresh. Truly decadent.

I really like this -- my hair is so soft, super glossy and shiny. I happen to like the scent -- I think it smells clean and fresh. It adds great moisture and detangles beautifully but does not weigh my hair down at all. I have medium texture, curly/wavy hair that is colored. I blow dry and use a straightening iron daily. I use it with the shampoo and use the mask once per week.

I tried a sample of this, and it didn't do much for my dry and surly hair. It didn't feel moisturized at all and to me had that "cheap conditioner feel" I know I am in the minority but I prefer how my hair felt after the shea butter conditioner-noe that made my hair soft. I didnot like the scent either--smelled pretty bad actually--more like lightly scented chemicals than anything else.

I have long, straight, color treated, baby fine but thick hair.

Breakage was my biggest problem. I tried this after reading reviews on here and it has become my favorite conditioner. Split ends are a thing of the past and my hair is in the best condition and even thicker than before.

Doesn't weigh my hair down, either.

Cons - hard to get out of the bottle; expensive at $32.50 for 16 oz or $20 for 8 oz., especially for long hair because you need a lot of conditioner.

Smells kind of funky. BUT, because my hair is so fine and tangles like crazy, I add Biolage Detangler (another favorite and that helps the smell.

I have yet to find a conditioner that detangles AND conditions - it seems like one or the other.

Someone just told me about Aquage hydrating conditioner and I'm going to give this a try because it is significantly less expensive. And, it's supposed to detangle, too!

This is the best conditioner I have ever used. Detangles like no other and transforms my coarse, unruly, damaged hair into soft, shiny, managable hair. The Protein Rx line is amazing. Although the scent is borderline tacky. But still is worth every penny to me.

I tried this as a sample along with the matching Reparative Shampoo. I only used them together so have no idea which product to credit for making my hair look better than it has ever looked! Together my highlighted hair was fuller and more bouncy and shiny than ever. EDIT: I bought the fullsize versions and still feel the same - great products - but only need to use them 1 or 2x per week

I used this for the longest time, along with the shampoo, and I have noticed that I'm not getting the results that I loved so much from it. : ( It's like it stopped working for me.
I have long, coarse, thick, color treated hair that I flat iron (chi!) almost daily. This was working like a dream at making my hair look and feel healthy and smooth. My hair had a lot of shine. I didn't notice any difference in how long it took for my hair to start getting split ends or anything, but my hair *seemed* healthier for a while.
It's not the thickest conditioner that I've used and unfortunately it didn't spread well through my hair, meaning I went through it faaast. I'm one of the few who wasn't crazy about the scent, it always seemed kind of musky to me. : /
The bottle is a huge pain, especially when you get towards the bottom 1/4 of product. You have to really squeeze it and the conditioner comes out *slowly* through a little slit. I have freakishly small hands, so this actually kind of hurt, but if I tried to stand the bottle upside down it would tip over. Packaging is important.
The formula has been changed...I've used both the ivory-ish colored and the pinkish colored formula of the conditioner, they both seemed the same to me.
As good as it was while it lasted, I stopped getting good enough results from this to keep me buying it. I don't know if this is just my dumb horse hair or what. :p

This is a good conditioner with a GREAT scent. To me it smells exactly like Dior Addict (a warm, rich and spicy vanilla scent - like real rice pudding). However, whatever it is that makes FF's Shea Butter conditioner so much more expensive (only 9.5 oz for $32.50 instead of 16 oz) is obviously what makes the difference in softening my coarse hair. Would use this again, just for the smell, but I think I prefer the more moisturizing Shea Butter conditioner (which also smells delightful, but different).

Now this, I love! It's not my everyday conditioner, but used once a week, this does make a difference in my hair. I alternate between this and Joico K-Pak (which I also love) and find the results I get from this comparable, even though this is technically not a 'treatment'.

The scent reminds me of vanilla soy milk, which is very mild and pleasant. I've actually gotten compliments on it, which surprised me, since I can't really detect the scent once my hair is dry. The conditioner feels so light and creamy it's as though it's disappearing into my hair, not coating it, and it rinses clean. My hair is always incredibly soft, smooth and easy to manage afterwards. I love my entire hair care routine, but this product is definitely a big part of what makes it work, and I definitely plan to keep using it!

This stuff is great! I bought FF Rx hair products after reading on MUA review. I am glad I did that.
A little bit pricey but totally worth every penny IMO.

Interesting. I have long dry fine hair, and tons of it. I have been using Ecoly Tri-Wheat conditioner, which has been moisturizing and detangling my hair well, but decided that I needed a bit more conditioning as the weather's getting drier and colder. The Protein RX has a great vanilla smell and a thick, creamy texture that leaves my hair slick and moisturized afterwards. Even with a leave-in conditioner, I found my hair a bit harder to comb afterwards, so I don't think this is the greatest detangling product. It did leave my hair soft (but it wasn't a very noticeable change). My hair seemed to have a lot more body than usual after using this conditioner though, so it definitely doesn't weigh it down. Overall, I nice conditioner for the winter months. I'll stick to using it because I love the smell (goes great with my vanilla-based perfumes) and it does a fine job of conditioning. Not bad for a $20 bottle.

**EDIT** After going through the entire bottle of this stuff, I have to say that it is now my favorite conditioner. Ever. Makes my hair softer than anything else I've used. Also, even though I've been really hard on my hair over the past few months (blowdrying and using a straightening iron constantly) I've had very minimal damage. I will definitely be using this again.
