The foundation was great when I initially tried it, my large pores looked invisible, the redness was gone, and best of all it wasn't heavy! It came out great in photos too! However when the next day came, I was disappointed to find (painful) new pimples all over my chin and my cheeks. I am truly disappointed...

This foundation is not suitable for sensitive combination skin. I would recommend this product only if you have great skin that does not need much cover and are not sensitive to a 100% silicon based fluid on your skin.
This product is silicon based and does not give much cover. If you apply this product in the morning you will need a touch up by lunch. Without any touch ups the result looks plain horrible in the afternoon.
I tried it for one week and returned it. Good return policy at Nordstorm- 100% money back guarantee.

I was given this as a sample from the Giorgio Armani counter in DJ's.
I am NW20 and shade 2 is an excellent match.
To me it gives a slightly better coverage than a tinted moisutriser but it would be too light for me to use as a foundation on its own. I think it is fantastic to use it as a base under my foundation as it makes my foundation glide on easily.
It is spf 12 so doesn't give fantastic protection against the sun, but it is better than nothing at all.
This feels lovely on my dry skin in winter, but i definitely wouldn't recommend it for anyone with even slightly oily skin. I think it might even be too nourising for me to use when summer comes.
This is pricey but i love the way it feels so i will purchase it in future!

This foundation is very smooth, it goes on like it says "face fabric" it covers all your pores to make it smaller and so therefore you dont need to apply pore minimiser as it has this already. It is a tube like foundation, and it is quite dear. I paid $89 for this, and I have almost finished it, but I dont think I would go back to it. I bought it in ivory, which is i think number 2, I am quite fair but this made my skin more fairer. It feels very nice and soft which is what i really liked it about it, not good for humid weathers as it is not a matte finish. It seems dewy on me because I am quite oily so made my skin look oily by the end of the day.
It looked sort of cakey as well when applied more than one layer and it is not full coverage. It is okay, I wouldnt buy it again though.

I recently purchased this while at the GA counter. I got the color #2, and I normally wear a #4 or #4.5 in LSF. The tube is quite nice and lightweight, as well as sanitary, so no complaints there. This foundation is extremely high in silicones, so if you have any allergies or issues with silicones, you should stay away. It really gives a "slip" to it, like you are rubbing on liquid powder or something. Actually, in that respect, it reminds me a bit of Cargo's liquid powder, except without all the shine and glitter. Face Fabric blends well into the skin and dries to a satin-matte finish. It was able to hold my oily t-zone at bay for several hours. It has SPF15, which is a nice bonus. I did take off a lippie due to the ultra sheer coverage. I understand that it is supposed to emulate the skin, but it gives far less coverage than some tinted moisturizers I have, which is weird. Therefore, I don't recommend if you need heavy coverage or have many blemishes, because you will be in front of your mirror forever trying to cover them up with concealer. Face Fabric also works well over top other foundations, and can also be used as a primer. It is best applied with the fingers.

I have had this product for a few months now. I wear MUFE F&B #20 and BB Skin in Warm Ivory. I purchased this in #2.
This is great for those who like silicone based primers, and just want an overall even smooth finish on their skin without looking too made-up. On a near perfect skin day - I can get away with just this and concealer. But lately, in the warmer weather, I have actually taken to using this as a primer, and then using an ever-so-light amount of foundation on top to give me really soft diffused satin look.
I apply this with my fingers, and a little does the trick. I make sure to blend it well under my eyes. The silicone in this product really fills in my pores and fine lines fantastically. I have been getting loads of compliments on my skin and I truly feel that it is because of this product.
While it is on the pricey side, the fact that I have to use so little makes me content with the purchase.
I will continue to use this as a primer on days where I want more coverage, and on its own with some concealer on days that I am confident in my skin.

I just got this and I'm really loving it! It feels so good when you're putting it on. So smooth and velvety, like butter! It's pretty sheer so it will only blur your imperfections and not cover them. It's not too matte and not too dewy. I've been using this over my moisturizer and dusting some Smashbox Halo over it and my skin looks amazing! A flawless, natural look!

I love this product!
my color is #3. My mum has #4 und just bought the seconde tube.
This works great for anybody who wants to look like after a pro-make-p-artist-session, just by patting this on your face with your own hands.

I received a generous sample of this at the Armani counter while I was browsing for a tinted moisturiser / light foundation. I've actually been trying to find a more natural product of this type but haven't yet discovered one I like so have been using this in the meantime. I'm not a fan of silicone based products, which I find DO block the pores in my skin, despite their apparently being considered non-comedogenic. Anyway, I would not personally buy this again for that reason. However, I have found that a thin layer of this topped with a dusting of Aubrey Organics powder gives me a great msbb effect. No patchiness, colour change or streaks, even at the end of the day. I also felt that it made a good base for the rest of my make up (as many others have commented it is very similar to a primer.) I would recommend this as a great product for someone with good skin just wanting to look a bit more polished. Don't know what the price is but considering how little product you need to use it would probably work out quite reasonable.

Magic! It covers my skin...and it seems that I have no foundation at all, just natural smooth skin.
Usually I don't like foundations due to "mask-effect", but this one is different. Great product, strongly recommended.

I should start by saying I really like low coverage foundations. Since I don't have a lot to hide anyway, I find them to be much easier to work with. But I have done makeup on a few friends who feel they need to cover up more and used Face Fabric along with a concealer, and they were all happy campers.
Face Fabric really is low coverage, just a light color mousse that glides wonderfully over the face. All those silicones are super comfortable, and make putting the foundation on a real pleasure. The end texture is velvety smooth, and while I agree that's pretty, I personally would prefer a slightly more glowy, less matte finish. I believe that would make it even more natural looking, and thus perfect.
The shades are fine in my opinion since the coverage is so light. I wear #2 in Winter and #3 in Summer, even though I suppose I could sometimes go for #1 or #4 as well, in the extreme weeks of either season, but I honestly don't feel it is necessary.
All and all, a very good light foundation, with a little room for improvement still, on my end. In any case right now (and as Clarins so sadly discontinued the fabulous Color Tint), this is the foundation for me, and the one I'll keep repurchasing.

I intially fell in love with this product, however the color matching still remains to be an issue. I mix 5 and 6 together. (In between NC45 and NC50) I haven't mastered the parts so sometimes it's perfect, other times, not so perfect. When it is perfect, it's beautiful! My skin looks completely airbrushed. I don't enjoy mixing the product or having to buy two foundations at $45 each!
I apply with my hands but it is so creamy, almost whipped, I sometimes feel like it is too creamy to stay put! If I could purchase 1 color I would by this product again.

First off, let me note that it is not good if you have a lot of flaws on your face, because the coverage is very sheer. If you're trying to cover a lot of redness, acne, or like heavier coverage foundations, this product is not for you.
Anyway, I am literally in love with this foundation. It has almost a mousse feel, it's really light and silky. You only need a small amount applied to your face and it should ALWAYS be applied with your fingertips, not a brush.
After applied, it makes pores disappear and leaves a semi-matte finish and not a heavy feel on your face. Your skin will also feel super silky! I think that's my favorite part. It lasts quite a long time, I apply powder to my t-zone and never need to touch it up throughout the work day. This, in my opinion, works for all skin types as well. I have oily skin and never have any issues with it.
Without a doubt, I will repurchase. It's a little pricey, but you use such a small amount of product it doesn't even matter - it last a very long time.

I love this product a lot, and I'm currently using the second tube. I like it because of its texture, and it gives me a silky and smooth face. After I apply it, my face is a bit radiant, but a also a bit matte, difficult to explain. Yeah, I know when my skin has problem sometimes, e.g. dry or break out, this foundation isn't a good one. Its coverage isn't good enough, so I think it can just help to adjust your skin tone and make it looks flawless only when you have good skin. That's why every time before I apply this foundation, I must apply some intensive moisturiser (colourless) as a base. It's really worth to try if you're just looking for a foundation for radiant.

Good for those with good skin because it gives very light coverage. The texture is really smooth but feels too much like silicone. I can see how this can be drying for those with dry skin because even on my combo skin it felt a little dry but with a good moisturizer face, it goes on fine. Overall a good product but will stick to my GA silk matte.

I have really dry skin so it looks a little flakey on me. It feels great putting it on though, so I could see how this would work really well for others with combo or normal skin. I'll try using it in the summertime when my skin is not flaking nor peeling like it is now.

My Holy Grail of foundations. This make-up goes on smooth and flawless. Makes your skin feel like silk. A great high-end product that is well worth the investment.

I love this product and use it most days. The coverage is just enough and it makes my skin look and feel fantastic. I don't really get spots/acne so just use it to even out skin tone. It may not be enough coverage for some skins.

I have to say, this is the most natural looking product I have ever tried, that actually makes my 50 yr old skin glow. Problem is, even when applying over Smashbox primer and finishing iwth a light dusting of powder, it's just not enough coverage for my taste. Perhaps when I'm further into my retinol treatment, it will be enough, but not at the moment.
Edit: added Aug. 2010: I went out and bought a full sized tube in Shade 2 after trying it on at a freestanding GA boutique. The SA was wearing it himself that day (very humid, dog days of August weather) and pointed out that it was matifying, but because of the hot, humid weather and me being in and out of doors all day, I decided to err on the side of matte. Used on top of bare skin (SPF12) I find the coverage is better than the first sample I tried months ago. The shade selection is maddeningly limited (2 is tad too light but the next darkest doesn't look natural). I will probably go back in a few months when my complexion lightens from the change in seasons, and I need more moisture, to get the liquid foundation he tried on me that seemed to have a bit more coverage.
I do like the no-makeup feel the best. And it does even out my skin tone better than I had thought.

I have been using this product for a while and I am OK with the results (I am a NC15 and I use n. 1). Whilst it is not HG material for me, it is definetely a good product. It is light, slightly matte and goes on like a dream and the colour is just perfect. It gives my skin a great natural glow. I agree with other reviewers, the effect is "like my skin, just better". I apply it with a powder brush or with my fingers. It has SPF 12 but far tooooo much silicone.
