I LOVE this perfume, the smell LAST & stay true. This is my favorite Burberry scent (I have Burberry London too). You got to try it!

I got a 3 ml decant and I love it so far. I do think it smelled better in the magazine I first saw it in (great way to judge, I know, haha). When I first put it on, it was heavy and weird, but after it dried for a while it was delightful! Didn't seem to last more than a few hours though.

I wasn't sure I would like this at first since I'm not a huge "happy and fresh" type of perfume person. However, this is very smooth and well done. It smells crisp and fresh, like summer flowers but still heady and smooth enough that it would never be considered a sporty neutral. Quite lovely and chic.
The bottle is ok. Nothing amazing but still sleek in a minimalistic way.

I really love this scent, and I’m not a big perfume fan, but lately I’ve started wearing a few. On me the Beat’s musky notes really shine through after about an hour on my skin, and that’s what lasts through the day, although there’s a hint of sweetness to the scent. I agree with another reviewer—this scent is a real attention-getter, and in a good way. People come up to me all the time and tell me how good I smell when I’m wearing this, and this is the only scent I have besides Burberry Brit Red that gets that reaction. So that you know whether my review can help you or not, other scents I have and like are: BenFit’s “Your Place or Mine” Gina; Bath & Body Works’ Sensual Amber, as well as their Midnight Pomegranate; Burberry Brit Red; and every now and then I spritz on some Obsession for Men (yes, I’m very female) for its sexy, visceral pull.

This, on me, smells like Moschino's "I Love Love" .... which is nice because I love I Love Love. The bottle is pretty. This had almost zilch lasting power and it's expensive to just fade after 15 minutes so I won't be buying. I love Burberry London better - it's more original, and lasts almost all day. I will stick with London.

after wearing the same fragrance for 4+ years (dkny be delicious), ive finally found a new scent that i like at least equally as much. the beat smells absolutely lovely!
on me it is light and fresh, strongly vanilla-y and subtly sweet. It lends a kind of warmth that makes it a perfect fall/winter scent. I kept waffling on whether or not to buy it at sephora as i was overwhelmed with all the options i was juggling, and am now so glad that i did! heavenly! also, as an added bonus, i actually find the staying power to be really good. i can usually still catch hints of it on myself when i get home from work at 5:30 after having applied it at 8:30.

Dosen;t last long, but every time I wear it, people always want to know what it is. The smell to me is appropriate for summer days, but easily converts to winter nights.

I really love this fragrance. I was able to find an amazing deal on eBay and bought a tester bottle of 40 ml Intense Elixir for $25 ($130 retail).
I had tested the eau de parfume in the store, and immediately liked it. It's a sweet, bright, fruity floral scent that is right up my alley, if not too unique.
So when I received and sprayed the Intense Elixir, the scent was a bit of a surprise to me. It is richer, almost smokier than the EDP. It's also not as bright or young. While it is still a sweet scent, it is more sophisticated, more complex and more interesting.
So definitely give the Intense Elixir a try next time you are looking for a sweet, but sophisticated and grown up perfume.

I really liked this fragrance when i smelt it iin the shop. I even sprayed it on and wore it for a day to see what it smelt like over the day, and I loved it, which sort of surprised me because i didnt like the packaging (which, I know, is a stupid thing to be influenced by lol). So i bought it, but the first day i wore it it made me feel sick! It seemed to smell so different from my bottle than the one in the shop, and it remended me the whole day of when i worked in a hospital as a trainee nurse, and of the disgusting smells in the hospital that used to make me feel so sick i couldnt eat on my lunch break. So i am very dissapointed and confused as to why it smelt so different and don't think i can wear this again.

I ordered this online for a very low cost (under $30) because it was discontinued at macys for some reason . I think this is a nice light scent that starts off with a mix of vanilla blossom & musk and after drying down you can smell the smokey cederwood mixed with the vanilla. it's really nice for winter because it's more of a woody scent. I probly wont buy it again though just because it's really light and doesnt last long. This reminds me of a lighter version of the Guess by marciano perfume... which i love!

I'm wearing this scent right now, dabbed from a decant. This isn't my first go-round with The Beat, but it certainly smells more interesting this time. It's quite sharp for a Burberry, and while I can't pick out any actual notes, there's something almost wintergreenish in the drydown. The construction of this scent is really what puzzles me: it starts off rather edgy and even somewhat dirty, but this is clearly built on a foundation of sugary, virginal musk. Usually I'd expect a scent to have a few innocent notes on top, with a dirtier base, but here that structure has been flipped on its head. The result is fairly interesting, and while I don't much like it, The Beat does deserve some credit for not smelling like absolutely everything else on the market.

I am totally in love with this scent.....how can you not love something that brings total strangers to your side asking what fragrance you are wearing?! It gets attention whenever I wear it. Very uptown fragrance that makes me feel like a million bucks when I wear it. It is my signature fragrance and fits me perfectly. And I even have a Burberry bag which goes along with my style of both scent and fashion. It is classic and beautiful and if you are looking for something a bit unique and gorgeous...The Beat is for you!

To me this scent is pretty, modern and feminine without being frilly. I can see myself wearing this everywhere and for pretty much every season. It's not at all too sweet which I was a it afraid of given my experience with some other more recent scents (Juicy Couture for example). I've worn it lightly on a few of these sweltering summer days and it was a perfect fit and I can imagine it smelling even better this fall. For me this is a more abstract scent as my nose can't quite pick out the notes, but I am no fragrance expert. My other favorites are Chanel Coco Mlle & Eau Premiere, Stella Stella, Kenzo Amour and Marc Jacobs Daisy for reference.

I have been using this for about a month now. I love it! It is young and fresh. I do not worry about offending people when I wear this. Just a nice, light scent. I wore this to my daughter's wedding last month and felt very confident wearing it. Doesn't last as long as other perfumes but that is ok, I still love it.

This is my new love. To me this scent is a little fruity, in a delicious, grown-up way. It's like a refreshing iced tea. Never overpowering, it's a great fragrance.

Flowery but not too young and headache causing. I love it right now, especially the way it wears through the heat.

I like this fragrance. It's is quite clean, gentle, innocent smelling but with underlying sexiness. Seems subtle at first but actually it's such a fragrance which might get you noticed ;). I think it is a 'multiseasonal' scent.
EDIT. I reduced the rating because it doesnt really stay decent amount of tme on the skin and smell a little bit too masculine on me. Still, a good scent.
EDIT again. Also it reminded me of moschino's funny!. but i find moschino's fragrance more youthful, feminine and, well, more optimistic. The beat is more sophisticated though. I would choose funny for summer.

This fragrance has a flowery scent but isn't strong enough to give you a headache. I love it and I am obsessed with it right now!
