Works pretty good on my lashes. One swipe over gives it a pretty good glow, but i mostly do two swipes. Would buy again.

Flakes off. Sigh.

I bought this today, and I am not that happy vs. the word-of-mouth reviews I heard about this mascara. I bought it on sale, so I don't feel too ripped off.
1. This mascara NEEDS 2 coats. Won't give you ANY length otherwise.
2. You whole clean brush 'technology' does work though.
3. Honestly, put in about $5 more for a better mascara...

I like my classic L'Oreal Voluminous, so I thought I would try this in the fancy gold tube. Goes on clumpy, but after messing around, you can actually get pretty good looking lashes. But give it an hour, and this stuff is flaking all over. My eyelashes droop, theirs black bits all over my carefully concealed under eyes, and I'm thinking I would have been better off without putting anything at all on. Threw it in the garbage today. Never again!

This mascara is okay. It's better then most drugstore ones out there and does a great job of enhancing my eyelashes. However, it looks fake, and not in a good way. It is a drier forumula and starts to dry very fast after putting it on. After one or two coats, it becomes brittle and stiff and impossible to add more coats without adding unnatural geometry to the barbed wire that's now framing my eyes. I love definition, volume, and drama, but this clumps badly, and can also look spidery. It's not awful when you only use one coat, but it's also not very noticeable.
I'm also not a fan of the rubber/plastic/neon yellow spiky caterpillar brush. I know it's suppose to separate and deposit product evenly, but all it does is scratch my eyelid every time I use it.
I'll probably use it until it's finished, or until it turns bad, and at the first excuse I'm going to throw it away and go back to the original Voluminous mascara.

Well, I so wanted to love this mascara, what with all the hype about it and the advertising, but.. it is quite clumpy! I have to be extra light handed when I apply this, and use quick stokes, because otherwise I end up with spider lashes! I've noticed that when I use a mascara comb after applying this, it doesn't clump as much, but it's too much fuss. There are better mascaras out there for the same price, such as max factor which will NOT clump your lashes! On the same note, the best mascaras ever for me are ysl false lashes and chanel exceptionelle. However, if you've bought this and want to make the best of it, try wiping the exceess off the brush with a tissue before applying; true, you'll need to put more coats on, but you'll have no clumps this way.

First off, let me say I love the packaging - the sleek gold. I also love the look this gave to my lashes. However, this mascara flaked like crazy on me!! it's the only mascara that's ever done that to me!

Love the length this gives, hate that after about 3 hours of wear it starts flaking like crazy. I wouldn't buy it again because of that, which is a shame because it really does give a great length and definition.

This mascara is much better then that Maybelline volum express the falsies mascara. I had to throw away the recently bought Maybelline mascara and bought this L 'Oreal mascara this week.
This looks pretty good. I will most likely buy Boots Mascara the next time I am shopping at Target and stock up. If I am in a rush to buy mascara then I would buy this L'Oreal one again since it's sold everywhere and easy to find unlike My favorite Boots Mascara which is only found at Target and is always Sold Out.
The only thing is this is a little difficult to remove. I actually had to use 2 make up remover wipes but I did apply many coats so I didn't use a light apply to begin with. For now on I will apply a little less and hopefully that won't be too hard to remove.

I really like this mascara! I have the waterproof version and it holds my curl all day. It makes me look like I have tons of eyelashes (I really don't! Most have fallen out from years of curling). It also doesn't flake and makes them seem a little longer as well. The brush kind of hurts my eyelashes when I apply it (weird) but I don't mind. Love this!
