While I don't think this treats/heals pimples, it seems to be good at preventing more from popping up. It leaves a cool, slightly tingly (not unpleasant) feeling on my cheeks for a couple minutes...so sensitive-skinned people beware; it may sting. This oil-free formula effectively moisturizes my combination skin, and the light scent is pleasant (it disappears anyway).

This is my HG Mousturizer. It dried me out for three days, but then after continued use (like it says on the package) I got great results. So, if this dries you out stick with it and you will get better results. Also- it has a great tingling sensation on. Very affordable as well.

I have been very very picky when it comes to looking for a moisturizer! I have combination skin, I peel on my nose area, and am sometimes oily in other areas. I went to Kmart to test moisturizers out since my skin was peeling pretty badly, and I tested this one. I was surprised because at first for like the first 10 secs or so it has that greasy/oily feel that all moisturizers do, but after that, it dries into your skin, and leaves a very minty and tingly feel...your skin feels really soft, and I thought it was impossible. This is really good stuff!!

This is a really good moisturizer to prep up your skin. It did help get rid of some blemishes when I first used it but then it stopped. It's a really good moisturizer though and there's no scent plus it's oil free. I use this before I goto sleep and a minute before I put on my makeup.

This moisturizer hasn't really treated breakouts, but it definately doesn't cause them (for me anyway). It has a nice, light texture and goes on smoothly. I also loved the fresh feeling I got from this. At first, I had to apply quite a bit to control dry skin, but I realized that my cleanser was just way too harsh. After switching to a gentler cleanser, I only needed a small amount of this lotion for my slightly dry cheeks and forehead. One disappointment with this product is the lack of sun protection...because of that, I only use this at night and on days when I'm not going out.

I used this in highschool religiously and loved it. Years later now, I've rediscovered it and am not nearly as happy as I was w/it before. Maybe cause it's winter and it's just not enough to do the job right now, I dunno. And as others before have said, using it everyday might be irritating because of the ingredients to help fight blemishes...seemed to have that effect on me. But I'll update in the summertime when I'll really need a oil-free moist. Overall not a bad product, goes on smooth, absorbs well, and DIDN'T break me out when I used it back in highschool. I'd say its worth a try and a cheap one at that. UPDATE: I've recently started using Spenco 2nd skin healing gel w/this and I absolutely love it! I heard so many raves on the skin board about Spenco and decide to try it. At first I tried it alone (it helps seal in moisture w/out making you greasy & controls oil)but it didn't really do the job, so I mixed a drop of the Spenco w/this C&C moisturizer and my skin has been so soft and my m/u looks 100% better on me now. I love this combination. Totally worth a try if you're at your wits end w/finding a perfect moisturizer for winter. Spenco costs $8.99@ Walgreens, in the band-aid aisle, and it comes in a light blue tube. A little of this stuff goes a long way, so it'll last, if you're worried about the price. But combined with C&C oil-free dual action moisturizer, ya can't go wrong! And the irritation I talked about before the update w/the C&C moist. has disappeared since combining the Spenco with it.

I bought this after I spent the night at a friend's house and I tried hers out. I really like the cool, fresh feel it gives your face and it is good for some acne control but only if you use it just every once in a while. Every day use can irritate your skin. I rotate with moisterizers but this is a very good light, fresh feeling moisterizer that I use in the morning about every other day. Doesn't clog pours or make skin greasy. I don't experience over dryness either like other reviews claim either, it just leaves my skin nice and soft. (feels cheek)

i've been using this over the past few months, but i think it would do better as a summer moisturizer. it is very light, and doesn't clog pores, ulike many other moisturizers. however don't expect it to fulfill promises of clearing up your acne and such, as it does a good job preventing breakouts but is nowhere near a miracle product. i like how it quickly absorbs; i have oily skin and i can't use a moisturizer that leaves my skin greasy. i use this in the morning and it's working pretty well. also it's not expensive.

I bought this thinking it would be an ideal non-greasy lotion for the humid Florida weather. I like the idea but I don't like the product! It's a super thin watery lotion that burns my normal/sensitive skin. It dries out dry patches that I didn't even know I had and just isn't that great as a light moisturizer. It's got an overwhelming smell that reminds me of medicine and menthol so I don't like having it on my face. I won't buy it again and I like Lather Ultra Light Face Lotion MUCH better.

I have had some bad experiences with this, and i mistakenly reviewed it under another moisturizer! please forgive me! lol but the problems that i had from this, were most likly my fault, because from using Retin-A, i didnt know that i couldnt use another salycic acid product, so i tried this and had a major irratation for about a week, but im sure that b/c of the other reviews that this really is a nice product.

If I was using this in the summer i'm sure it would be great for me. But with my winter-induced dryness, it's just not strong enough. Within a few minutes of applying, my cheeks feel dry again. But at least I'm not breaking out!

This stuff is really good! I've been using it off and on for a while now. I basically only use it when my skin is dry and dont want to over do it with harsh acne creams. The small amount of Sali Acid is gentle for these dry times. This is a good one to have around-Plus it smells good and is cooling to the skin-Menthol I guess!

This didn't do much for me. If anything, it didn't clear up my acne, and it made my dry skin even worse. The lotion is pretty watery and it smells too.

When I saw this at the grocery store I thought to myself, "This must be suited for me because I have very dry and sensitive skin prone to breaking out". I only used it once along with the Sensitive Skin Deep Cleaning Astringent and my skin ended up a lot more dry, irritated, and was peeling everywhere on my face by the next morning. I'm giving this a three because I can use this on just my pimples and it gets rid of them fast.

While this didn't do much to control blemishes or breakouts for me, it is a great moisturizer. Feels very light & non-greasy.

This moisturizer didn't really help keep zits away and it didn't moisturize - I kept breaking out and then I got dry, flaky patches. So it did'nt work for me.

I used the first formulation of this for years and had forgotten about it. After reading reviews here I decided to try it again and discovered it has a stronger (but pleasant) scent and works as well as ever for my skin. It provides blemish control without totally drying out the area. I can use it on my whole face and have no shine, dryness or stinging. Great product for those who need some moisture but have a few blemishes they don't want to make worse. I don't think the fragrance would sit well with those with very sensitive skin but worth a try at such a low price.

well, after reading everyone's reviews on this moisturizer, it seemed to me that that was exactly what i wanted and needed, so i tried it out. I can't tell you how wonderful this product has been for me. A past product that i was using really did my combo skin bad, you talk about uneven skin, break outs everywhere, redness, oh, it was awful. I took a break from that product and my face just got worse. Then i started to use this lotion and immediately in the same week, my skin improved dramatically in all those areas! Ive never used a moisturizer that felt so good and my skin and didnt aggravate me somewhat. I thank all you ladies for sharing such valuable information with me. I just never thought something so good to my skin would be from a drugstore, guess i was wrong! You must give this one a try!!!!!

This is my holy grail moisturizer. It keeps my skin really soft and smooth, but has never caused breakouts. It's also really cheap, and smells fantastic. I'm sure that this will become a part of my regular skincare regime.
