Oh dear ladies what are you doing to your faces!?!
This stuff is no different than washing your face with dish washing liquid....it is that drying.
I bought this the other day, wanting a cheap facewash I can take travelling. You can actually blow bubbles with this cleanser which would be funny if it wasn't so drying and probably damaging to your skin. It also leaves the taste of dishwashing liquid or just plain old soap in your mouth.
Even though it's a bit more expensive I will be going back to Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel which is well worth the extra few bucks.
The light blue packaging is pretty & the price is good but the product is awful...two thumbs down!

This is one of the few facewashes that I have purchased several times. I don't expect this to help with acne or any other skin issues. I only expect it to remove my makeup, and it does a fantastic job! I have combination skin, and this does not dry me out. However, it's strong enough to remove even my long-wear foundation. I would recommend that you use a makeup removing towelette before using this, but that's just because I like to be on the safe side when it comes to cleansing my skin.

This is a wonderful basic gel cleanser for young skin. I wouldn't recommend this for aging, simply because it could be drying, but for the rest of us it's great to remove makeup and clean skin in one step. It does NOT have any anti-acne ingredients, but it never made me break out or anything. This cleanser is the most fantastic makeup remover. It gets everything off, even waterproof mascara.

It's good to have around. This could easily become a staple in anyone's cleansing routine. I've repurchased this cleanser twice since the first time I bought it. One bottle lasts me about 3 months.

I like this cleanser,it has few ingredients and a very mild smell. It doesnt irritate my sensitive skin. Right now I am using the Acnefree kit which is working pretty good for me. I only reach for this when I wear my colorstay foundation or a lot of heavy eyemake up because I want to ensure it is completely removed. It leaves my skin very clean but not too dry. If I didn't have skin issues I'd use only this everyday with a moisturizer. The price is fair for the large amount and I like Neutrogena's simple packaging.

AWFUL! It did worse things to my face than Retin-A did. TWO uses and my face is scaly, sand papery, and red. NOTHING has ever done this to me before and I hope my face returns to normal ASAP.

i like this but i dont love it. i have a few breakouts and it wont help clear those...but it does really clean my skin and it isnt that drying. the most make up i wear is mascara or eye shadow some days and it gets all that off :). it has a smell and i dont really like it :(

This makes my skin burn. I feel like it rips off the top layer of my skin. I bought it thinking it was gentle but I noticed one of the ingredients is ammonium laureth sulfate, which is a really drying detergent. I had been using Olay Sensitive which I find much gentler than the Neutrogena. This made my sensitive skin very red and parched.

woww.. i really like this cleanser. a really sweet MUA'er suggested this cleanser to me & i tried it, turned out i really liked this.

Pros: cleanse my skin really well, removes my m/u. didn't irritate my sensitive & dry skin.. and if this accidentally goes into my eyes when i'm washing my face,it didn't even hurt.. smells like soap? doesn't have any fancy smell which is fine with me.. the quite big bottle will last me a long time..

Cons: none atm..

Packaging: in a light blue bottle with a pump, the pump is great so that you can't waste the amount of products you want to use.

Price: quite okay for a drugstore cleanser but then again you get 200ml with the price. so i guess it's worth it.

Repurchase: yep, definitely!

Seems to work well to remove makeup and clean my face. Other than that, this stuff is like every other cleanser I've ever tried. Not a stand-out, but not bad either. Just mediocre. Wouldn't repurchase.

I have oily sensitive skin. While this product managed to take off all my makeup, it irritated my skin. I can definately see this working for someone with less sensitive skin than myself. The only other downside is that it's a little less foaming than what I expected, but again as I said it removed all of my makeup.
