Did not volumize at all! This mascara made my lashes look so spidery and took the curl right out! if you want a mascara especially to seperate/lengthen, this is for you.

To me this mascara smells like cold cream, I would not repurchase due to the strong scent.

I like this mascara a lot, does not smudge does not clump, i get length and volume and it is easy to appy. great product! the only negatives are this -- the scent is not pleasant smells of strong roses/flowers which is odd, and I wish the package was not sooo fat, takes up a lot of room in my makeup drawer! but the mascara is wonderful, once you get used to the smell.

For reference, I'm NW15/NW20 with normal, slightly dry skin. I have blue eyes with naturally straight, long eyelashes that have a slight curl. I have brown hair that is a few inches past my collar bone.
Pros: lengthens and volumizes my lashes incredibly well, holds a curl well, very black in colour, doesn't flake off my lashes, doesn't smudge, doesn't weigh my lashes down, the brush deposits just the right ammount of product, the consistency is neither thick nor thin.
Cons: none in my opinion!
This is definitely my HG mascara! I think the packaging is gorgeous, but a little 'big' in my opinion. The brush is awesome, it can get all my lashes and coat them evenly. The consistency is neither thick nor thin so its easy to apply and dries relatively quickly. It leaves my lashes long, separated, thick and black which I love. This is hands down the best mascara I have used in my entire life and I'll keep using this until it gets discontinued (but hopefully it never will)!
This is a great mascara and the price is great, definitely worth a try!

This is a very good mascara because:
- Its really lengthens and gives really good volume to my thin lashes.
- It barley dosent clump
- last all day
the only thing I have to complain at that it dryes out a littlebit fast and it smugdes.
:)

This has been my day time go-to mascara for the last month or so. The smell (flowery? but not in a good way) was very off putting at first, but I enjoy how it applies and love that it holds a curl in my lashes. I like very defined, black lashes and this mascara delivers in that respect. If one or two coats of mascara just doesn't do it for you, I'd pass on this one.
I do find that it clumps easier after having the same tube for over a month now, but it is cheap enough that I won't feel bad replacing it every six weeks or so.

I think this a great product! Really feathers out the corner lashes and separates my lashes. The brush reminds me of a Dior mascara I have used and I like the feature that cleans the brush as you take it out of the tube. I don't think it smells bad and it didn't flake or smudge on me.

This product would be a HG one for me, if it didn't flake so much! It's a shame, I love the look it gives my lashes but the flakies are so annoying. I hope L'Oreal works on their formula just a bit to fix this, because other than major flakage it give me the perfect lashes!

This should be called a "million little flakies" because that's exactly what it gives my eye area only after a couple hours after application. Not only that, it gave a wet look to my lashes and separated them greatly. There was no fullness whatsoever. They actually looked really bare and worse than with no mascara at all. Also, the packaging feels really cheap. Without a doubt, I will never repurchase this mascara.

This is my new HG mascara. I used to love L'Oreal voluminous in carbon black, but this product improved on the original formula. It literally makes me look like I'm wearing false lashes. It doesn't clump up and it doesn't flake off. I've tried some high end mascaras and they can't compare to this drugstore find.

This mascara does not work for me, and is one of the worst I have tried. first of all, I hate the rubber/plastic wand. Had I known it had this rubber bristle wand that is so popular these days, I would not have bought it - they never apply well for me. It is hard to get the mascara to coat each lash - instead it sticks the lashes together - forget "million" lashes, it makes me look like I have less lashes because they are glued together. it doesn't volumize or lengthen that well, just sticks my lashes together and makes them look spiky -yuck! To top it off, it makes the skin right under my lashes itch, and it makes my lashes feel dry & unhealthy after removing it.
I read many other reviewers say this smells bad - well, to me it smells like Diorshow - that synthetic rose smell. so it doesn't smell bad, just strong, of synthetic rose, and ...honey maybe?
in summary this is one of the worst drugstore mascaras you can buy. save your money & go for L'Oreal Voluminous, Bare Naturale, or Maybelline VolumExpress, Colossal Volume, or Full n Soft.

WOW.....love this mascara!!!!! I thought that my telescopic couldn't be beat, but I was wrong. I am lucky to have long eyelashes naturally, BUT every single mascara I have ever tried (believe me, there has been a LOT) makes my eyelashes stick together so I need to spend a lot of time separating. This one is lovely, my lashes don't stick together and after two coats they are just the way I like them. Really hope this stays around, it's definately my HG mascara!!

Pleasantly surprised by this mascara. I haven't liked most L'oreal mascaras but they really got the brush right on this one. I am able to get big, long AND nicely separated lashes [never happens to me] but best of all, it doesn't smudge throughout the day. Washes off easily with my normal face wash. If i pile a TON on it does feel heavy and crunchy, but magically still looks good, so I guess its a trade off. And yes, it has a gross scent. So it loses a point for those reasons. Appearance- and wear-wise, it is near perfect.

The thing about mascara is that you have to match your lashes up to the product. I have VERY long and VERY fine sparse lashes. Almost no mascara really works well on this kind of lash-Diorshow barely sticks to them and what does flakes right off. LashBlast clumps my lashes into 6 spidery claws then flakes off to a pile of dust under my eyes (attractive!). REglar Voluminous did pretty much nothing on my lashes at all. So If you dont have this kind of lashes, you probably wont like this mascara.
This worked very well on my lashes. I managed to get volume which is RARE. It does tend to want to clump them together, but the style of the brush makes it easy to separate them. Nice and dark, and a little glossy. Doesnt seem to flake off, but washes off very easily with soap and water. The brush feels really hard to me, so if I get too close to the base of my lashes, it's uncomfortable and pokey and I can't get that thick base that I really like-I can compensate with liner, but still. The package is super thick - I can do without that.
I'd definitely repurchase this.

I tried Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes, STAY AWAY ladies! After only one use, the ends of my lashes dried and broke off. Dried pieces came off and went into my eye during the day also. Couldnt wait to get home and get it off. Also the petroleum smell is unbearable. Back to my Dior Blackout, some things are worth the money.

I wanted to try a new mascara and I love L'Oreal Voluminous (original). This is not good a mascara. It makes my lashes feel dry, the formula is thin and the brush seems hard in a way.
The falsies and Voluminous are way better!

Smells like Maybelline Colossal's old formula...but works waaaaay better. It gives a really defined look to the lashes with just the right amount of length and volume, just not big bushy volume. One coat = polished and defined; two coats = va va voom!
When I got home from my first time wearing it - six or seven hours after putting on one coat - I decided to see what two coats could do, so I put on another coat over the old dry one, and got a more dramatic but still polished result. It really seems to multiply lashes in a way that gives my eyes a wide open look. I experienced zero flaking, and even on top of an old, dry coat, I got no clumping either. Also, my lashes don't feel crispy-fied - they're still soft and bendable. Good stuff. I can't really imagine high end being THAT much better. Scooped this up for a dollar off on sale (about $8), and I definitely got my money's worth.

I see the reviews on this are almost 50-50. Add me to the no's.
As far as I can tell, this is no different than any other Voluminous mascara. The packaging does provide a slightly cleaner brush, but globs of product remain on the tip, so I still had to manually clean that.
I've never been a big fan of L'Oreal mascaras, and this hasn't changed my mind. And for $8.95, pricey for a DS mascara, I expected more. I used it for a couple of weeks, was never happy with the result, so into the trash it went today.
