I used to use liquid liner almost every day, and this was my favorite liquid liner. The blackest black is a rich black color and it really stays on almost all day.

This is my HG eyeliner. I normally buy only high end brands, but this is hands down the best eyeliner I have ever used. I use the Brown-Black shade everyday, a thin line on my top lashes. The reasons I love this eyeliner so much:
* It truly stays on all day, no fading or smudging. I wear contacts and mess with eyes more than I should, but this eyeliner stays in place.
* The applicator tip is perfect. It's firm and thin, giving me complete control over how thick or thin my line is and making it so much easier to apply than any other liquid liner I've tried.
* The Brown-Black shade makes my brown eyes really pop, without being too dark or too light. Perfect.
* The price is good. It is a bit more than other drug store products, but is so much cheaper than the other high end products I use.
I love this eyeliner!

This is my holy grail liquid eyeliner! The felt tip makes it easy to apply, it's truly opaque, and it lasts and lasts, which makes the quality exceptional in my book. Furthermore, it dries way faster than Prestige. I have it in Black Ice, a standard, versatile black with silver microshimmer.

This is a very nice liquid eyeliner! There isn't the biggest selection of colors ( at least not around here) but the black is very nice! It lasts all day, much better than other liquid eyeliners. It is very easy going on, nice and smooth. My HG eyeliner.

This is my favorite liquid liner. It gives me the perfect, intense black line, and since I wear winged liner daily, I like that it isn't so expensive compared to other brands. As the name says, this liner does really stay (and I have oily lids) and it doesn't flake. I can control the thickness of the line too!

I have offically converted!!! I use to be a brown kohl pencil girl...then I bought the liner in Bronze Shimmer and I LOVE it! I couldn't believe after a shift working in a nightclub it stayed on perfectly. I'm coming back for the Blackest Black liner (since it wasn't in stock when I was at the store). LOVE IT!

OK so I had to come back and re-review this eyeliner.
I realized that it was smearing because I would put on sunblock before putting on the eyeliner and the sunblock had made my eyelid greasy so it made the eyeliner smear. Without my eyelid being greasy, it works perfectly. It's easy to apply, it's a nice black, and it looks really smooth.

if i was stranded on a deserted island and had to to choose only one make up product it would be liquid eyeliner. i cannot leave the house without eyeliner on...i wear it everyday. with that being said, this eyeliner is fantastic. i picked it up one day cuz i wanted to test drugstore brands and this was the first one i tried. i love this one! stays put all day until i wash my face at night. doesnt budge and its black black just the way i like it. such a small bottle (.08 fl oz/2.5 ml) but lasts a few months...and remember i use eyeliner everday. definately would repurchase. 5 stars. no its off to review the not so good maybelline liquid liner.

hooooray! finally something that isn't a waste of money. i really love the packaging the price, the really jet black line you get. i love liquid eyeliner, can't live without it, and this applies great, is really black and stays on all day, in fact it's hard to get off. i love it though, so wonderful, better than prestige, which i previously had raved about.

I really like this eyeliner. It is fantastic with staying power and easily applied. I have used liquid liner in the past so I know how to handle it. A tip for beginners: Put on the liner before you apply your shadow so that if you apply your liner a little funky the shadow will hide the little jagged edges.
I have to say this is far superior to any pencil liner I have tried and you can't beat the effect and staying power of the liquid liners.

Until this week I pretty much stuck to drugstore brands but I have to say I'm officially a MAC convert. Regardless Revlon was my brand before I stumbled onto MAC. I have this liquidliner in a brown/black and I think it's a great product. Never had any problems w/ application, smoothness, smudging, etc. Lasted very well for me too. Even though I have mostly MAC now I haven't gotten any new liner since this Revlon one and might very well repurchase this one.

I went down to my local drug store and bought Black shimmer because they were out of black-brown. The only reason I bought it was because of all the great reviews I read. As soon as I tried it on, I was quite disappointed. I admit it has great control on how thin or thick you want it, but if any of the stuff got into your eyes, man does it burn. It didnt dry fast at all, I had to at least wait 8 mins for it to completely dry. After it was dry, it didnt look black but a medium gray, well I guess it was because I had the black shimmer. It ws sparkly though, and it got everywhere. It does stay on long if it doesn't touch water. I was wearing it one day, and went shopping. I had to run to my car because it was raining, and I did park my car farther away from the mall. When I got back into the car and looked it the mirror, I saw the eyeliner actually running off. It looked like I had been crying. Absolutely horrible.

My HG eyeliner. Out of all the drugstore liquid eyeliners I've tried, this one is def. the best! It doesn't smudge, fade, or run AT ALL. I wore this to an eight hour party and it didn't budge a bit. The felt tip is also really easy to use and makes it simple to control how thick or thin you want the line to be. In my opinion, this is the best liquid liner :)

I love these liners, they really are w/out a doubt my favorite all-time liner. For sheer staying power however, I prefer none other than MAC’s liquidlines. I also love gel liners (pencils are insanely difficult for me to use for some reason), but Revlon’s colorstay liquid liners beat all the high ends I’ve tried...and trust me, I’ve tried nearly every one that claims to be long lasting.
PROS:
1. Love the applicator...every liquid liner should have this kind of applicator. I’m not a liquid liner expert, but I’m pretty good at it, and this product is the product that I cut my teeth on. A firm sponge tip that tapers down to a fine point. Able to produce a very thin pin-point line, or a fatter more dramatic line w/very little practice or effort.
2. Easy to work with. Not only is the applicator fab, but if you make a mistake, you have time to correct it and it is easily removed with makeup remover.
3. Lasts all day on my oily upper lid, but slides off my bottom inner rim within a few hours. Doesn’t create racoon eyes so I easily forgive this flaw. In fact, it seems to slide from my inner rims and hoover right around my lashline which makes a nice look, even if it wasn’t what I was originally going for. Otherwise, no flaking or smudging. I have to really rub my eyes hard to get this to budge on my oily skin.
4. Great packaging. Small, portable, slender. All you need is a mirror.
5. Great value. Decent price, about $7-$8, but often on sale, this liner lasts months for me w/out drying out or getting too goopy. It does dry out a bit, but it becomes more gel like, not dry and brittle. I don’t mind this in the least. I don’t wear a lot of it, but I wear it almost everyday...normally just a slender line winged out along my top lashes and my inner bottom rim lined.
6. Easily accessible. You can find these everywhere.
CONS:
1. Slides off my lower inner rim (see above).
2. STINGS if it gets in your eye.
3. (Not really a con imo) At about $7-8 for normal pricing, these are expensive for d/s items I think. But compared to other liners I’ve tried that haven’t added up to Revlon’s ($17 here, $30 there), these are inexpensive.
Have bought many times before and will continue to buy again and again! Highly recommended! .08 fl.oz. About $7-8 (but often on sale)
For referance:
NC15, oily skin, non-sensitive eyes and I do not wear contacts.
COLORS:
BLACK-BROWN: more like a soft black, it’s that dark of a black-brown (it’s NOT brown-black) and what I prefer if I’ll be outside or in natural light a lot. Dark and intense enough to make a statement but not as harsh and a little more natural of a color than “Blackest Black”. This is the one I wear most often.
BLACKEST BLACK: pure pitch, hardcore rocker black.
BLACK SHIMMER: a pretty, very dark charcoal with very subtle shimmer that actually makes the liner look like a wet, dark gunmetal from afar. (Don’t worry about sparkles or glitter, the shimmer simply makes the e/l look wet, nothing else...would look great on my mom in her late 50's or my little sister in her late teens.) It’s a very masterfully composed color and I really admire how perfectly composed it is.
Public Service Announcement:
As with all liquid liners, you must practice. I don’t know of a single woman who was awesome at applying liquid liner upon her first few days with it. Just trying a few times is not enough, don’t get frustrated, the end result will be worth all of your hard work! You have to work with the product and learn how to use it before you can expect to judge it’s performance or your look accurately. Try it, mess up, step back, study where/how you messed up, mentally correct the line in your head so you can draw it better next time, wash off m/u gently and do it again. Even seasoned pros have to practice when they receive a new product. Also, products change over time as they dry out and you’ll naturally refine your application techniques as this happens. *steps off soapbox*

This was a good liquid liner but I just don't use it enough to justify buying another one when this one runs out.

I usually love the Revlon Colorstay line, especially the lipsticks, but I will pass on the liquid liner next time. I found that this liner dries way too fast and it is impossible to get a clean line, I had to correct mine with make-up remover and a q-tip. It did last through the day without fading or flaking, but next time I will look for something easier to apply. Cute packaging!

I've tried every high-end eyeliner on the market, and this liquid liner is my HG. I use brown-black and black, and even though I'm a bit of a crybaby at times-- this stuff sticks! It stays exactly where I put it, whether I'm exercising, swimming or bawling my eyes out. The product color is nice, the applicator is basic and simple to use, and the price isn't bad considering how long this stuff lasts and how far just a little will go. I notice this stuff is often sold-out, so I'd recommend buying a couple. ;)

I have this eyeliner in bronzed brown and use it just about everyday. This is the best drugstore eyeliner. It goes on smoothly, pretty easily, and lasts all day long. It's a must-have for every woman and affordable. Highly recommended.

This thing is great for anyone just getting into liquid liners.
The hard foam tip makes this almost fool proof and extremely easy to apply.Just don't try to line your INNER rims with this or else it will hurt. You're not even suppose to line there because that area is extremely sensitive and you'll run the risk of an eye infection.
If you happen to make a mistake, a wet Q-tip takes it right off. The staying power is great. I've gone 8+ hours wearing this stuff and when I get home, my liner is still there and absolutely perfect. It's also easy to remove with a facial cleanser. You won't have to stand there and rub/irritate your eyes for hours trying to get this off.
For the price (Around $6) , this one is a must have. I've been using mine for the past 4 months now and it's still good as new.
