I have never used a primer before and I'm very disappointed I haven't tried this one earlier. My make up application is much easier and my foundation lasts significantly longer. After a 13-14 hour day at Disneyland, my foundation still looked great! I would definitely purchase this product again and again. I couldn't imagine putting on foundation without it.

I love it! Not only does it protect my makeup from my skin's oil and texture, but it protects my very sensitive skin from the makeup! It's shimmer, which makes me feel gorgeous, and helps protect the skin around my eyes from eyeshadow (which I am allergic to). It also makes the seborrheic dermatitis around my nose invisible! I would recommend it to everyone, especially those with embarrassing skin conditions!

I like this foundation primer. It is not my favorite, that would be Clarins Instant Smoothing Primer, however, for a lightweight primer to use when in a hurry, I think it does the trick. The packaging is great - the product is easy to use and applies well - a little goes a long way. I like the consistency on my face and find that it does help the application of my make up - perhaps more help with that than making my foundation last a long time. Not perfect, but I do like it.

i was exited to purchase this product after seen reviews on you tube. I must say that it is not what i expected i thought it was going to minimize oil from my forehead but it did not work that way, to me is like putting on a regular moisturizer. would not recomend. I will try it out with the Prep +prime finishing powder and see if that will make a difference. :)

This product isn't horrible, but I think that it works for specific skin types only. Although it did provide a smooth canvas and fill in my pores nicely it did absolutely nothing to control oil, and perhaps even exacerbated my problem with oiliness. I do still break out occasionally even at 40, so I can't say for certain that the P&P is to blame, but I suspect that it is the culprit behind a rash of blemishes that occurred shortly after using it. If this were an HG product, I would consider it worth the price. But for a product that addresses only some of my needs, it's far too expensive to justify buying again. I find that the $7.99 Rimmel Fix & Perfect is a better product and far more suited to my skin type. As I said, I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. I wish I could give it a 2.5, because it's a mediocre product, but not a complete disaster. I think it would probably be an okay choice for someone with average or dry skin. But combo skin? I don't think so.

I felt that this product didn't keep my foundation on at all. It was a waste of my money. I rubbed it on my hand and it felt like it really created this base that foundation would stick to and not move around and get blotchy. I also thought that if I had a facial primer, especially one from MAC, that it would create a wall if you will, between my foundation and my skin. This was not the case. It broke me out...very weird. I loved it when it was on my hand, it stayed there all day. I have some oil control problems anyway, but not enough to make my foundation blotchy. My foundation did better without this primer. This is just my opinion and my review. I LOVE the MakeupForever primer. It's on the pricey side so I try to use it sparingly and save as much as I can, as I am on a SERIOUS budget. (single mom) but anyway, i DO NOT recommend this product.

I like this product because it goes on silky and doesn't make me feel oily like other products. If I'm short on time and don't use it I can see my pores and eventually see where my face has sucked up my powder. Yuuuuk... I apply it lightly all over my face everyday and dab a little more over my cheek area if going out since I wear a bit more blush and light bronzer.

This primer is okay but it gave me like systic acne after having it on for a few hours. I was so upset because i'm someone who usually doesn't get pimples but this product broke me out so bad :(

I'm surprised about the bad reviews! I'm just in high school and saved up to get a mac haul :o , i brought this and thought it was really smooth on my face. For dry skin, you need to put moisturizer and let it absorb in for awhile before you put this on, this gives my face a much smoother finish and i think it has made me put less powder + foundation on, which is good as it doesn't clog up my pores :)I've already got a back up of this and been using for about 3 weeks now? Hopefully will last me awhile. For the packaging, the usual beautiful mac with a sleek design, the pump is well made. But for this price, i'm considering if there's better alternatives? Worth a try though!

Since I have oily skin, I always need a primer before I put on foundation. This primer has little flecks of glitter or sparkles in it, which I hated, so it made me look like I still had oily skin. It's creamy and your skin feels quite silky, but i've used better primers in the past. For the price I paid, I didn't want glitter in my freaking primer. The only thing I liked about it is the pump.
