This is the best mascara I've ever used! Yes, it's not perfect (brush is hard to use, lashes tend to clump, blobs come out of the tube) but IT DOES NOT SMUDGE! If smudging is a problem for you, try this! Gives great length and holds a curl (if you curl your lashes first). Also very easy to remove (warm water and gentle rubbing or pulling on your lashes).

I got this as a full-sized sample. It wasn't much different from Maybelline's XXL Volume and Lash double-ended mascara. The white fibers were uncomfortable, especially because I wear contacts and they tend to flake off. The black end of the brush made my lashes look spiky and not natural at all.

I loved how natural my lashes looked with this mascara. It looked longer (not thicker though) and darker -- just beauitful! I don't have naturally thick lashes so I didn't begrudge this mascara because it gives me longer, natural looking lashes. The primer side works a lot better than similar primers on other mascaras.

Best mascara I've used in a long time. Stayed put all day, no smudges or flakes - and as a contact lens wearer who tends to blink a lot & rub my eyes all day, most mascaras end up all over my face at the end of the day. I used to use Kiss Me Mascara, similar concept in the tubing but Kiss Me costs about $30 Canadian compared to this one around $10 - and I prefer L'Oreal's formula. Kiss Me made my lashes hard and stiff by the end of the day, though it did roll off in perfect tubes. Beauty Tubes don't necessarily "tube" off, but will come off with warm water and a gentle pressure - no need for soap eye make-up remover - in fact, it won't work for this one. I've briefly stopped using it, on a quest for volume. This mascara does add a bit of volume & length, but not the "big fat lashes" I'm currently craving. But I'll buy it again - trying other mascaras has reminded me how great Beauty Tubes are!

Although this mascara is long lasting, smudge proof and pitch black (things that so rarely go together!), it's probably one of my least favorite mascaras. But boy, does it make my lashes loooooong! Between the fiber building base and the tube mascara, it makes my lashes so long I was asked on several occasions if I was wearing false lashes. In that sense, I LOVE the product. BUT, I HATE the packaging. Though convenient, the double-sided tube was sometimes annoying to open and made the product dry out quickly. I think this may also have something to do with the product itself, and not it's packaging. Within a month or two, my product was dried out and flaking from the inside, like nothing I've ever seen before. It just doesn't last long enough :( And I sure wish it did!
Removing this mascara is a breeze, and all you have to do is soak a warm wash cloth and rest it over your eyes. Once you look down at the towel when you're finished, you'll see all these strange little tube that had coat each one of your lashes. Weird!

This is my favorite mascara ever. I've tried just about everything and this is the only mascara that doesn't make me look like a raccoon by the end of the day. It gives tons of length AND volume. It is NOT hard to get off at ALL. If you are having a hard time getting it off then you are removing it the wrong way. Makeup remover pads are going to take FOREVER just splash warm water over your eyes. They get soft and then just fall off or you gently pull them off. It does look pretty gross when you take them off in the bath because they look like little spider legs.

This is my HG of mascaras ! For years I used Lancome Definicils on my poor short stubby lashes. When separate lengthener products first hit the market, I tried those too. Between the cost of the Lancome mascara and lengthener I was spending alot and still not happy. When this product came out, I thought..why not..after all L'Oreal is the parent company of Lancome and the price was right. For the first time in my life, I have long sexy eyelashes !! I've even been asked if I was wearing false eyelashes. As far as removing..no problem here and I wear contacts. This is the easiest mascara to remove that I've ever worn. It pretty much comes off with water alone..the tubes are kinda scary at first..looks like you have a sink full of eyelashes..or baby spiders !

PROS: Extends lashes well. Does NOT flake/smudge/smear!! Lasts forever on my lashes. Pretty inexpensive. Comes off easily when removing (see removal tips.)
CONS: Can't build to make thicker lashes (but such is life with a tube mascara.) I don't know if this is what makes it not smear at all, but there is some stiffness to the lashes from this.
APPLICATION TIPS: You can apply this primer before your favorite mascara to add volume. You can also use this after your favorite mascara to seal it in with the tubes to prevent smudging.
REMOVAL TIPS: Use warm water and GENTLY pull tubes off of lashes. It's that simple.
ALTERNATES: The Rocket by Maybelline (waterproof) is wonderful for volume and lots of length. For lots of volume and good length, I like Milani's Runway Lashes (covered by Clarins Double Fix.) OR Covergirl Professional Remarkable Mascara, which stays on very well for nonwaterproof.. If you already have pretty good lashes (don't need much help), you may like CoverGirl Last Blast Fusion.

I love this mascara! It made my poor short lashes look 3 times longer. The only downside was that it really weighted down my lashes after a while and it didn't really hold the curl. I don't mind tugging on my lashes, so it was easy to take off with the rest of my makeup when I wash my face with warm water. I also tried to take it off with my Loreal gentle eye and lip makeup remover on a piece of cotton pad over my eyes for about 10 seconds, and it came off with a gentle wipe. Pretty good product, but it's still not perfect for me.
