I'm so glad MAC game out with a Viva Glam thats wearable for just about anyone. I would describe the color as; 50% pink, 25% brown, and 25% mauve. It all comes together very nicely! It's a great YLLB lipcolor. I found the shimmer in this to be slightly gritty, which is unusual for a lustre lipstick.

I LOVE THIS LIPSTICK & I'm totally not a lipstick type girl. I usually wear lipgloss because of the light feeling on the lips, but this lipstick is nice and sheer on me & very moisturizing. I love the YLBB color and the wonderful shimmer. This is my favorite MAC product of all time. I see myself using this and the VGV l/g more than anyother product to date. Wonderful stuff!

I love this too!!! I love my Viva glam V set. It goes so well together. I wear this with my subculture lip liner or stripdown lipliner and they give me a nude lips. It's very light and natural and it does take some layering to get some color. It lasts pretty long and it's my most favorite lipstick. I usually wear this with the viva glam lipglass on top, but I like it alone as well. :)

Wow! I love this. Great everyday lipstick. Plummy nude pinky mauvey sort of color with a hint of silver sparkle. It's like it's less mauve than Midi Mauve, sort of the closest cousin to it, but it is SO much better and more defining than Midi Mauve, while still being a "your lips" type of color. VERY difficult for me to describe.Lustres are often too sheer for me to wear alone, but not this one. It looks SUPERB.

This is so pretty! I've been looking forever for a really nice YLBB pinky-brown-nude, and I think I've finally found it! I'm a PPP with blonde hair, green eyes and really pigmented lips, so usually "nude" shades just look chalky, muddy or wash me out. But this is lovely, has a nice texture and subtle sparkles too!

I immediately bought the lipstick and lipglass online and I'm glad I did. I was worried initially that the lippie would be too pink and "chalky" for my NW45 complexion but it really is a perfectly lovely YLBB color. Very sheer, subtle beigey pink. Paired with Chestnut lipliner and with VGV lipglass slicked across the top, it's gorgeous. Especially for daytime or paired with a more dramatic eye look.

LLL, pink undertones, green/hazel eyes>>Viva Glam V shows up as a YLBB shade on me but on the pinky side as Hug Mug is a YLBB on me but on the peachy side. It's pretty well described in the previous reviews..I thought the color may be a more rasberry shade because of the pics on the MAC site but it's not. It's not my favorite MAC shade but will do for those natural days. It's for a good cause so I can't complain but I would not have bought this shade if I had seen it in person because I prefer a bit more pigment.

I think this is the exact shade I've been searching for all my life! I love the lustre formula and can only rave about that. The color is a perfect neutral pink - not too light, not too dark. Goes great with my cool LLL skin.

I really like this shade, because it goes on a little bit lighter than the lipglass version. On me (NW15), it's a light mauvey-brown with stunning subtle golden shimmer. It has no orange tones at all. It's a Lustre formula that is a bit gritty due to the shimmer. It's a very neutral shade that should suit most skintones. I'm a PPP and it works great. I just wish it was a touch pinker and a little less brown. (It's definitely more wearable than Viva Glam IV.) All in all, VGV is a winner. Update 3/14/04: I'm really liking this color, so I just raised my rating from 4 to 5! I tried it with clear lipgloss on top and it really brings out the shimmer. Lovely!

I am in love! I was ready to be disappointed in this shade because I thought it might be too light or too frosty for me. Not so! Beautiful pinky/liptone shade with just enough warm shimmer to be interesting. Usually frosty lipsticks look like nothing but frost on my lips but this is fine enough to be subtle. I hope my other lipsticks don’t develop complexes from neglect because I’m going to be wearing this daily for a loooong time.

Absolutely beautiful, wearable, shimmery neutral pink. I think anyone could wear this color- quite possibly a new HG. I am a LLL/MMM, (MAC NC20) and it looks wonderful... go buy it!

This is such a pretty color, but just a little too light for me to wear by itself. It is a light-to-medium pink with golden shimmer. I think it would look gorgeous topped with the matching Viva Glam V Lipglass, but on somebody else, not me. To me, the lipstick looks a little bit lighter than the gloss. The SA that I trust the most at MAC, told me she thinks it looks gorgeous on me, so maybe I just need to get used to it. Very pretty color though!
