Just bought it on a whim while playing at the MAC counter. I spend a lot of time in court in front of a fairly conservative judge so I can't be too bold with my makeup during the day and needed something "natural" looking. SA recommended using over Cream o' spice l/p to bump up the color, and together the 2 look very pretty. Just enough pink to play up my coloring without making me look "made up." Since this is my new every-day l/s will probably have to purchase again soon!
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
Too frosty and light pink for my non-pigmented lips. I have fair-medium tone skin, dark brown hair and eyes. Light shimmery pink doesn't flatter my coloring. Makes me look trampy almost the was it comes off frosty and almost whitish on me. I need more color.

This will be one of the very few lip products I will repurchase. It is wonderful for everyday looks. On me it's just a better version of my own lips. It doesn't add a whole lot of color, but polishes off a look nicely.

I'm not crazy about this. I just got it because there are such good reviews on it. It maybe doesn't work on me? I'm NC30-35 and I think this lipstick just looks too natural? If that makes sense. It has too much brown in it which I don't like. When I tried to make it more pink with some gloss it just didn't work. It's just not working for me. Too bad I heard such good things!

I've never been able to find a pale or neutral lip color for my skin color that goes great with that smokey eye/pale lip routine until now! This one is just perfect. I'm fair with freckles and dark hair and most pale lipcolors make me look sick, but this one is just right. It has just enough sparkle that it doesn't just look like lipbalm, but it tones down my naturally rosy lips just enough to pull off the pale lip look perfectly! And as always, the MAC lipstick formula is perfect. MAC scores again!
Age: 36-43 Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
I'm afraid that I have to be a dissenting voice about this lipstick. It is icky in my opinion. The color is okay, but nothing special at all. On my lips it actually takes color away. It is glossy, with a bit of sparkle, which is okay, but unfortunately the sparkle, and what little color there is, sinks right into the vertical lines in my lips - not good! Don't like it. It's going back asap.

Pretty color, I'm NC20 with dark hair and eyes and rosy lips, and this comes out a soft blend of pink, peach, and beige. In some light it looks more peachy beige, in other light it looks more rosy, but always mlbb. I like the slightly glossy finish of the lustres as well, it makes lips look full like lipgloss but more approachable and low-maintenance. My only major problem with this is that I find MAC lipsticks to be super drying and they start to look heavy with constant reapplication. I've also found that the gold shimmer in this tends to migrate around my mouth which is NOT sexy. I'm going to go with Neutrogena's moistureshine balm in #20, its a little pinker than this but it saves the step of alternating with balm.

I am in love with this lipstick! It is the first product of any kind I have ever refered to as an HG product. I have always had trouble finding lipstick that I like on me. I am very pale with pink undertones and dark hair and eyes and most lipstick either washes me out or looks way to dark against my pale skin. I am NW20.
On the recommendation of a MAC MUA I tired this color. I have been looking for years for a MLBB color and I have found it! On me it is a very pretty light neutral pinky, peachy color. I put MAC subculture lip liner underneath it and sometimes add some clear lipglass if I want a shinier lip and it is perfect every time for every occasion. Other people have complained about the slight gold shimmer in it but I can barley even see that when it is on my lips.
This is a color I will wear for every day and if going out on weekends would probably dress it up with a smokey eye. It's a perfect neutral.
I also love the tube it comes in. The black with red is so pretty and always makes me smile when I take it out of my bag. As a great bonus all the money goes to charity. Gotta love it!
EDIT: I still love this color and wear it on a regular basis but I just wanted to add that the gold sparkles in it do get on my nerves occasionally. If left to dry out or wear off on my lips I am just left with sparkles everywhere. As long as I try and keep it fresh it seems ok. Just wanted to put a warning about the sparkles.

My favorite lipstick. I love it... I love how i have use it everyday or for a big event. To me it is extremely versatile.
I love it, this is my comfort best lip color ever. Stop by the MAC counter and see if this color is good for you too...

SO versatile. I recently found myself grabbing this for a glam look, and I've been using it non-stop for work and during the day, I love it! It's one of my favorite l/s and I'm a junkie - so I can tell you this is good stuff.
Color: Like all the other reviewers have said, it's a neutral pink leaning toward cool (do I detect some rose in it)- but it's got a certain warmth to it, maybe it's the pearly perfect gold flecks. I don't know - but I would see this working on a great deal of skin tones. I'm a light-medium olive skinned with dark brown hair/eyes with heavy yellow undertones & very red/pink pigmented lips and this looks great! And the reviewer before me said she was very light with light pink lips & she loved it.
Texture: This is their lustre formula which I like, it lasts (not as long as the other formulas like satin) but still keeps my lips from flaking off. It goes on smooth and you can't feel the pearly gold flecks at all, no gritts. It's buildable color, I like to apply about 3 coats to get the color I like.
Packaging: I like it, it's the regular MAC l/s casing, but with red instead of silver accents. And it snaps on so no open l/s all over your purse.
Scent: Their signature yummy vanilla scent.
Price: $14USD - I guess it's so so, it's not so bad considering it's a staple and it's good stuff. It could stand to be a few $$ less though. :)
Overall: I'm on my first tube but I see myself going through many many of these, I recommend it to all!
I LOOOOVE putting L'Oreal CJ in "Color of Hope" on top - it's almost the exact same shade as Viva V but without any shimmer/pearl.
