I really do have to say this product is very effective. I have combo/acne prone skin, and this product cleared up my acne. The liquid goes on clear and doesn't leave a residue.(Most other benzoyl peroxide creams leave a residue) I do have a warning though any benzoyl peroxide product can possibly bleach fabric.

Though this product does do a decent job of getting rid of pimples without overdrying, I fear that it also forms new ones! It has Laureth 4 in it with is a notoriously bad pore clogger. If you don't suffer from clogged pores, just large pimples, than this will work.

This was too drying for my skin, although it did work well at fighting blemishes. I switched to the regular strength, which is perfect for me.

I have had moderately bad skin for about 7 years and have tried everything out there, almost literally. I decided to try Paula
s products mainly because I wanted to prove her wrong in a way (she gives it straight on a lot of products in a, some might say, harsh way). So I ordered her kit for moderate-bad skin. Well I was wrong...her products are great. I now have clear skin from having used the products for over four months. It was a slow but sure process. This Blemish fighting solution works wonders as does the 2%BHA. This is far better than proactiv in my opinion!!! I say try it for all you acne sufferers. I never thought I'd endorse a product that works for acne, but thank the Lord for Paula!

Best BPO product there is. I like the regular strength version that is 2.5% BPO, but my boo boo's need at least 5% BPO to kill em off. This product is a 5% BPO in a very lightweight lotion base that is so much lighter than using products from the drugstore like Oxy. It absorbs quickly an rarely do I have an overly drying effect unless I'm reapplying frequently due to a breakout. Because this is so lightweight it layers well under other things without interfering. Also, it's a nice size 4oz bottle for $13.95. Lasts forever, but I always keep a backup because I would never want to be without.

I've been using this for about a month and it is now HG!!! I cannot believe how much (along with PC's BHA 2% solution) this has cleaned my pores -- and since they are cleaner, they look smaller. I had one stubborn one that would not go away and this did it!! It works well under make-up too.

No different
than other brands! Expensive with shipping and handling for what? I use Persa
Gel instead with the same results!!.

Pretty worth it for the price. It didn't dry out my skin as much as oxy does. Will definately repurchase.

I love this stuff. I like others on this board have tried everything-including accutane twice, my acne started to come back in my mid 20's, so after reading the raves I tried this. What I love most about this is I can apply makeup over the product and I can use it day & night. My skin had to adapt for about a month, a moisturizer is neccessary-I use clinique moisture surge extra with this. Trust me this is like no other cream!!

This combined with the 2% BHA is the only thing that keeps my crazy oily skin under control. I rarely get ugle red zits like I used to.

Excellent product! Fragrance & colorant free. Best blemish fighting solution in the OTC market. I have dry sensitive skin & rosacea. I have never had a problem w/this product. I only use it at night & top it off w/one of PC's Skin Recovery Moisturizer.

I have used just about everything (except accutane) before these products. I have been using cetaphil sensitive skin cleanser, paula's choice 2% bha, Paula's choice extra strength blemish solution, and Paula's choice hydrating treatment moisturizer. My skin has cleared in under a month. Retin-A, differin, benzamyacin, and tetratricyclin didn't succeed were this stuff did. So exciting.

I bought this product after hearing rave reviews about it. But after using it for 3 days, my skin started to peel. I guess its probably too drying for me. However, it did dry up my acne faster than other products (eg: ettusais acne clear spots).

I got a small sample of this in a swap, and I love it! It really dries zits up fast(even the big ones),and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I'm going to have to order the big size now:)

As a benzoyl peroxide disinfectant product, it is OK if you like BP. There are however some caveats: first, it is quite strong as the name implies, and your skin could turn red in reaction. Second caveat: it contains Laureth-4 if I am not mistaken. I think I read somewhere that this ingredient can clog pores; if that is the case (which I am not 100% sure about), I wonder why Paula has included it in this. I don't use this product anymore, and I won't repurchase this.

My HG disenfectant!! A little bit drying for my skin, but as for reducing bacteria it does a far better job than Sage Fix Zit. If you have a problem with blemishes, use this with Milk of Magnesia as a mask and your blemishes will be little to none! For good acne tips go to paulaschoice.com and the article called "Battle Plan for Blemishes." Her tips really work!!

This used to be my all-time favorite spot treatment and something I really counted on to keep my skin clear. It can be a bit drying at first, but it works beautifully otherwise. Very recently however I had to stop using it, as I realized that it was making my skin irritated, and contributing to some nasty red bumps that seemed to appear out of nowhere, itch like mad and take days to disappear. Drove me CRAZY. Maybe I loved this stuff too much?? I used to use it morning and evening, with an extra dab on any potential spots overnight. I suspect this was overkill. I'll be avoiding BP altogether for a while, and finding an alternative that works as well as this product is quite difficult. Before switching to the Extra Strength, I had used the regular strength Blemish Fighting Solution for over a year with absolutely no problems, and would have to recommend that for an all over BP treatment instead - reserve this for spot treating only! I'm really sorry I had to give up on this, before the whole itchy mess began it was a 'holy grail' for me. I have some pretty unique experiences with products though, so don't be totally put off! I just thought I'd share my sad news, in case anyone else was going through the same thing and not sure what was causing it. It is good stuff, just no longer the answer for me. :(

This is a good product, much gentler than other bp products and doesn't make my face all red and dried out after use.

Excellent product. I have sensitive skin and alot of anti acne products dry my skin out, but this is perfect! Reduces redness and really helps prevent pimples and blackheads too.
