This product smells good, but it is def. not great for people looking for a quick fix to acne. This product made me break out a lot more than normal. Everyones skin is different though.

This kit is incredible. It dried up a gruesome zit I had had for DAYS, literally overnight.
I love all the products - they work great with my excessively oily, acne-prone skin and I love that they are small and travel-friendly.
Here is what the kit contains:
Clear Complexion Cleanser:
The cleanser smells great and I find I don't need to use a lot. It lathers well and leaves my skin soft - not stripped. It is a clear gel cleanser.
Clear Complexion tonic:
It's refreshing and smells good. I am not to sure of the benefits of it, but since it is a step in the kit, I use it.
Clear Complexion Treatment:
It is a light gel that absorbs quickly and doesn't leave me with a greasy film on my face. I think, however, that due to the winter months my face is a little drier than usual, so I am only using this as a spot treatment for now.
Oil-free Daily Hydration SPF 15:
This, hands-down, is my favorite product in this kit. I am an avid user of Oil of Olay Complete for oily/combo skin and I never thought I would find a daily moisturizer that I liked more that Olay. I have tried other moisturizers and always seem to come back to the Olay. This stuff might get me to switch! This is a very light moisturizer that works great with my super oily skin. What I LOVE about it is it absorbs in SECONDS! It reminds me of the excellent absorption of Kinerase's lotions. I can't stand to have anything "sitting" on my skin, and this doesn't. It is literally like the minute I start to rub it in, it is absorbed. I find my face isn't as oily as usual throughout the day, either.
Overall, I love this kit - it is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. I think I am going to try the full-sized versions of these products so I won't have to worry about running out.
UPDATE 5/8/08 - I think this actually dries my skin out a little bit. I got my regular monthly breakout and found this was almost TOO harsh to use since my skin was severely dried out where I was spot-treating pimples. I think this system will work better for me in the summer months. In the winter I think I need to stick with Proactiv or MD Forte. Still a good system, though and I will repurchase.

I've been using this product for two months.
This is my HG skincare regiment (minus the SPF lotion). I have sensitive, confused, acne-prone skin. After years of struggling to find a group of products that I like I feel like I can finally stop looking. The trick for my skin were calming, natural products. I'll break it down by each product in the kit.
Face wash: the experts say that you don't have to spend a lot of money on a face wash. I believe them - except there aren't any cheap-o washes at CVS that compare. This face wash is dye-free, frag-free and gentle. It'll remove all the make up and grime from a full day but my skin doesn't scream "MOISTURIZER!!!!" immediately after.
Tonic: I thought this was going to be a waste but am now hooked. It's certainly refreshing (think: keeping it the fridge for a hot, sticky day). It seems to prevent the return of devil-zits...you know, the ones you pop then grow back b/c there was a tiny bit of bacteria lurking. Well, this tonic helps prevent them from coming back.
The treatment gel: Yes, it's on the watery side - but my skin has felt and looked better than it has in a long time so it must all be doing something! What I really love is that this gel absorbs completely and doesn't "flake" or "ball up" on my skin. I can put moisturizer over it then my make up and it's a perfect application.
The SPF: too thin/not moisturizing enough for the winter. Also, I like a higher SPF. I've been using Oil of Olay Complete SPF 30 and I'm sticking with it.

I must be crazy, b/c I could swear that this has made a difference in my face after 4 days of use. Such fast results usually mean that I will end up editing this, saying it was a fluke & the results were wishful thinking. I even have my toes crossed hoping that this is not the case w/this kit. I was previously using the Pevonia line for problem skin, which didn't seem to do much. It didn't make it better or worse, just kept it right on par as the troubled skin I have come to know over the last 8+ years. I've only used it as a kit, so it's hard to comment on the effectiveness of each individual product. There doesn't seem to be anything particularly amazing about any of them, but so far they all seem to be working great. I like the cleanser, it's just a good, basic cleanser. It seems to do a thorough job & leaves my skin clean and smooth. I love the toner, it feels so nice & refreshing. The treatment is great, no dryness, no irritation, no redness. Just smooth, spot free skin. I really like the moisturizer even though there isn't a lot of "moisture" to speak of. My skin isn't that oily, but it tends to get really shiny throughout the day, this moisturizer has stopped all that. It leaves a nice, matte finish that looks fresh for most of the day, which is great for the approaching warm, humid weather. I don't think it will suffice in the winter, though. Overall, my skin seems to have already improved a lot. I have moderate acne and sensitive, reactive skin. It's been pretty much impossible for me to find products that prevent acne w/out causing redness or irritation. These products have caused no irritation and my skin looks/feels really smooth. I always tend to have multiple break-outs, usually w/at least one large, inflamed pimple at a time. Since beginning this, my skin is so different. The few spots I've had have been teeny tiny, a dot of my QHMJM @night and they've disappeared by morning.
I will update if the results seem to stop or change, but hopefully it won't be necessary!

UPDATE: After using this for about 2.5 weeks, my acne started coming back - with a vengeance. It was BAD. It was like being in high school all over again with the numerous whiteheads and papules on my forehead especially. I haven't had breakouts like that in years, and they wouldn't go away -- every day I'd have new zits. I switched back to my old faithful BP/Glycolic products and it took a good 2 weeks before my skin is finally starting to look normal again. I really wanted this to work, but I returned it. Too bad. For refernece, I would say I have persistent, mild-moderate acne that is kept pretty well controlled with a few good products that contain BP and glycolics.

This is an excellent acne treatment program for sensitive skin. The products smell wonderful, too. I have been hesitant to try Boscia products for years, because of the absence of known "effective" ingredients like glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and retinol. The botanicals is this system really work, though. Willow Bark is where salicylic acid comes from, so I guess this is esentially an SA system, but SA usually breaks me out, and this hasn't so far. I purchased the AG Amino Eye Treatment too, and are really happy with all the products so far.
After my first day using the kit, I woke up with smooth skin, and my few hormonal pimples were shrunken flat and fading. I will update in a few weeks ...
UPDATE: My skin is looking really good, but I found that the Oil-Free Moisture that comes in the kit was not moisturizing enough, and my skin got a little flaky. I bought the Boscia Vital Moisture SPF 15 to use instead, and now my skin is perfectly balanced and moisturized. Since I am in my 30s, maybe this moisturizer is better with more mature skin. I could see liking the Oil-Free Misture when it's really humid here in the summer, but for now, it's not moisturizing enough for me.

This is my Miracle Product! I never thought I would find something that would clear my face up until this product. I've been using it for 5 weeks now and my face has not one single pimple on it! This is the first time since I hit puberty, lol. It's pricey, but worth it!

I've used a lot of acne treatments, but have always ended up disappointed. I LOVE this one, and am planning on foraying into Boscia's other products now. It's more than I prefer to spend on skin care, but at 22 years old, clear skin is priceless.
I've only been using this kit for a week, but my skin began to clear as soon as I started, and has STAYED that way. Absolutely no new breakouts, which is remarkable considering I'm a week away from graduating college and still have exams to pass, plus I'm waiting to hear about fellowships/job offers. My skin hasn't been this clear since I finished Accutane.
The cleanser is a good basic cleanser, doesn't leave my skin dry.
The clear complexion tonic feels SO GOOD when you spray it on! I can't wait to take it on a plane trip (the size in the kit is less than 2 oz).
It always bothers me that acne treatment systems never include moisturizers. The one in this kit is very light and only SPF 15. I don't think I'll buy the full size tube.
When I was first looking at this kit, I was surprised it didn't have a spot treatment. Fortunately, I haven't needed one!
I am so glad I found this. If you suffer from acne, I would recommend that you order it RIGHT NOW.

I have been using this product for four days now and am in love (so far). I have been using ProActiv for years and for some reason my skin has now decided to rebel. I was dry and flakey and had more blemishes than I used to. I opted for the Boscia line because it seemed much less harsh.
The cleanser is a silky smooth gel that glides on and lathers up. You need very little. Once you lather it up on your face and rinse it off, your face will feel so clean and fresh - literally squeaky!
Next comes the toner, which you spray directly onto your face. I spritz three tiny sprays on each usage (forehead, each cheek) and then use my fingers to sort of gently and lightly rub it in. It will instantly disappear onto your skin, and feels fabulous.
Next comes the complexion gel - also melts right into your skin. I'm not sure if it's this or a combination of all the products together, but my skin has never looked better.
I've only used the moisturizer a few times; it seems maybe a little run of the mill and expensive for the amount you get in the full-size. It's oil free with SPF 15, which is nice, but I also just got some Clean&Clear oil free moisturizer (a whole big bottle) with SPF 15 for $8. One ounce of the Boscia equivalent is $27, which I find pricey. I also have very dry skin so I need a lot of moisturizer, and I feel that spending that much for such a small amount would be impractical for how quickly I'd go through it.
In all, I am beyond pleased and very impressed. As soon as I run out of this trial kit (which doesn't seem to be any time soon, since you need so little per application) I plan to buy the full size versions of every product but the moisturizer. My skin is dewy, fresh-looking, even-toned, and COMPLETELY blemish-free. I cannot praise this kit enough. Granted, it's only been 4 days, but I will update in a few weeks with the long-term progress.
Definitely recommended!

I bought this kit because my skin is acne prone, but sensitive and most acne products make my skin extremely irritated. I've been using the kit for a month now. It doesn't irritate my skin at all, which is amazing. Although it's improved my skin somewhat; it hasn't cleared it up.

This is by far the greatest skin care system I have ever used - and I've used a lot! My skin is sensitive and tends to be oily. I never had problems with acne until I was in my mid-twenties (I'm currently 28). Recently, I have been plagued with deep, cystic pimples on my chin/jaw line with the occasional breakout elsewhere. I have found that I tend to breakout when my skin is overly dry and/or I use harsh products. I have also been plagued with red blotchy skin most of my life. I settled on the Boscia Clear Complexion Kit based on the reviews here and because I need something that isn't harsh and won't dry out my skin. I couldn't be happier! I have been using the system for a little over a month and my skin has never looked better! Not only has it cleared up my acne, it has calmed my skin and removed the redness. The couple small pimples that have erupted since I started using the kit have cleared in a day or two compared to the week or more it used to take. I also recently had a premenstrual cystic pimple pop up and it has healed amazingly fast! Here's a breakdown of each product in the kit:
*Clear Complexion Cleanser with Botanical Blast: This is the best cleanser I've ever used! Other acne clearing cleansers have left my skin feeling dry and tight. The Boscia cleanser leaves my skin feeling clean but not dry or tight in the least. It has a very subtle (and very pleasant) botanical scent. One pump is plenty for the face and neck; mine lasted just over a month when used both morning and evening. I have already purchased the full size.
*Clear Complexion Tonic with Botanical Blast: I don't have much experience with toners but this one is really nice. Feels refreshing and has a pleasant, subtle scent. Leaves my skin feeling soft. Really helps to calm and soothe my skin. Comes in a hygienic spray form. I would, however, prefer it to have a finer mist because as it stands a lot of product comes out at once. The kit size lasted just over a month when used both morning and evening. I have already purchased the full size.
*Clear Complexion Treatment with Botanical Blast: This stuff is amazing! Really, really amazing! It effectively clears blemishes without over-drying. For me, this is the most impressive product in the kit. I use 1.5 pumps to cover my face and neck in the morning and evening. Really works to calm inflamed skin. I was going to purchase the Willow Bark Breakout Treatment with the kit but the Sephora SA told me this was essentially the same thing but has a higher concentration of Willow Bark. For the couple of small blemishes that have erupted, I put this all over as usual then dab a little extra on the blemish - works like a charm! This lasted just about a month (maybe slightly less). I have purchased the full size.
*Oil-Free Daily Hydration SPF 15: This is a great lightweight moisturizer. Really compliments the rest of the kit. Makeup applies smoothy but doesn't keep me matte all day. Overall, I would say this is an above average oil-free moisturizer. I am still using the one that came with a kit (morning only) and it has been well over a month. I will definitely purchase the full size when I run out.
When I purchased the kit I also purchased Boscia Recharging Night Moisture because I usually need a night moisturizer. However, the products are so gentle I don't need it every night. It's excellent though I only use it once or twice a week (mostly because it's sitting with all my products) - I could probably go without it. I doubt I will use it at all this summer.*EDIT* So I started noticing a bit of dryness and began using this every night. All I can say is WOW! This has improved my skin even further. I have even fewer breakouts and my skin is more even and less irritated. I would recommend this addition to the kit to anyone needing a little more moisture.
*Bottom line: The kit has calmed and soothed my red, irritated skin, and, most importantly, it has cleared my acne. The packaging is hygienic, and the price is reasonable. Preservative-free products are well suited for sensitive skin. I am totally sold on this system and the brand as a whole. I have received samples of the under eye cream, facial mask, and exfoliating wash - I will most likely be purchasing the full size of each.

I got this after reading about it in a magazine i think. I really do like the cleanser especially as i can open my eyes when washing. i like the treatment gel, it does help me a little but stubborn acne still hasn't gone. I don't find the day mostouriser is that great. I like my regular cream with my Neutrogena sunscreen better for day wear. I'll keep using this and see what happens. update 3-10-08: i don't think this did anything... i think it was just false hope i was seeing previously. I've gone back to my usual Netrogena 'on the spot' lotion. that seems to be helping much more..

I’ve been using the Clear Complexion Kit for about a month now and so far I am very happy with it. I used tons of various products before and my last one was Origins (and Boscia is working out for me much better than Origins). The products are very gentle and do not irritate the skin at all. It leaves my skin smooth and it doesn’t dry it out. I think that there are already some improvements with my skin. I’ve been also using the Smoothing Facial Polish and Clarifying Detox Mask and both are very gentle and once again they don’t irritate the skin at all. So far, I’m loving Boscia and I’m excited to see the continuous progress (hopefully) with even more time :)

I have worked for Sephora for 4 years and have experimented with new skincare lines for my entire adult life. This is by far the best treatment for acne and inflammation that I have ever tried. The result is clear and hydrated skin; before this line it was either one or the other for me. I show this to every client who comes in with mild to severe breakouts and I have yet to have a return. Zero fragrance, zero dyes, zero parabens, zero irritation. Please give this a try. (By the way, it's a lot less expensive than other brands.

OKAY.. first off...i would like to say that this is a very good product. The only reason im giving it 4 lips instead of 5 is because of the ridiculous price. Im ASIAN so im always looking for discounts and what not. However..I believe that when your skin is concerned..you need to be careful what you put on it. Ive used SOOOO many cleansers and treatments and although many have worked and cleared my acnes..it all comes down to what's going on ur face in the long run. Now..to give you all an idea of what ive used..here goes>>proactiv, clear skin, murad, oxy maxium 10% benz face wash, neutrogena oil free, mary kay formula 3, origins deep down, shiseido foam cleanser, clinique, and prolli many more i can't even remember. LET ME SAYYY!! i now have somewhat clear skin just a few pimples and blemishes and maybe that's why i love boscia so much but if i had ACNEE which ive struggled for much of my life. i recommend going to DERMATOLOGIST to get prescrip. if not try PROACTIVE first..if that doesnt work or too expensive for u..try OXY MAXIMUM 10% BENZ FACE WASH. its like 6 bucks at CVS. i highly recommend this to you ladies with moderate-severe acne cuz ive been there. however if your face doesn't respond well to benzol then yahh...looks like you need to go the to DERM. ANYWAYSSS ive been using BOSCIA for about 2-3 weeks now and already i can tell my skin is less oily, more smooth and dewey (not oily) and just feels healthier in general. its expensive as hell for like..the smallest amount of product. but let me tell you...you WILL be able to tell your skin and texture is improving. loves it!
[EDIT] So ive been using it for almost a month now and i had to remove a lip cuz i realized it wasn't doing all that much for acne prevention. I got a few new little pimples so maybe this isnt as great as a product as i hoped it would be. And for the price? Not realli worth it. Good product but just not good enough.

I've been using this kit for about two weeks. Well, I have to say my acne didn't go completely away but I did notice one thing that my face has become considerably smooth after using this kit. My used bumpy area has gone. I particularly enjoy the cleansing gel, which cleanses your face throughly without drying or leaving the residue like some other cleansers out there. You can actually feel it "deep-clean" your entire face. The clear complexion treatment is another good addition to the kit, which I believe is the one that's working to get rid of my bumpy areas. The daily SPF 15 hydrator is a bit drying, even to my oily/combination face. But it does do a good job in oil controling on my combo/oily face.
Overall this is a wonderful acne fighting kit compared to all the acne clearing products out there, with favorable price and simple packaging. I've already purchased the regular size for the cleanser and clear complexion treatment. Highly recommended!

This is a miraculous little kit. I have used it for a couple of weeks and see results. My skin had been acting crazy for a couple of months and now it's stable again. Horray! Just one thing to note: I found the moisturizer not moisturizing enough, so I added a drop of glycerin and then it was perfect.

Okay - I was a skeptic, too. I mean, how many acne-fighting products out there actually work... let alone PRESERVATIVE-FREE acne-fighting products? I've always battled skin problems (I'm 35 now), and I can count on one hand the number of products that actually did something - anything - to help control my breakouts. But, after reading the rave reviews on this kit, I had to give it a go. And I'm so glad I did. The cleanser has become my HG - light, fresh scent... removes makeup... rinses clean... gentle enough to use every day... in short, a winner. The toner (I'm not big on toners to begin with) is also nice - I use a few spritzes after each cleansing, more as a "refresher" than anything else. I love the moisturizer, too; I have combo/oily skin, and this is one of the few I've tried that absorbs immediately into my skin and leaves a true matte finish. The real star of this kit, though, is the Clear Complexion Treatment. I'm not sure what it is in this lightweight, colorless, almost odorless gel that makes it so effective... but whatever it is, I never want to be without it again. I can truly say that since I started using it (I'm on my third bottle), I haven't had one "breakout" - a small clogged pore here or there, yes... but my ACNE problems are a thing of the past. I now have clearer, more even, and - I swear - less oily skin because of this product. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE...
