I've got Auburn since I dye my hair the same color and black eyelined brows just dont look right. I've had this brow powder for a little bit over 8 months now and still have barely made a dent in how much I've used. If it was sanitary and makeup didnt expire this could probably last me over 5 years! LoL. Looks awesome and natural without that fake drawn on look that pencil can make. I've been drawling on half my brows for years now- by choice- because I like high arches, sadly nature did not bless me with. I use NYX black eye pencil first and then this powder. The 2 combined give me a rich dark auburn color. Very pigmented- worth the few bucks because you get a ton, I highly recommend.

I received this item in a swap -- and let me tell you, it is excellent! I have used several different eyebrow powders and pencils and this is easily the best. I have the brunette shade, which is perfect for my eyebrow color. It looks so natural. I use a regular angled eyebrow brush and it takes me maybe a minute to do both eyebrows. There is no fall-out. I don't even need to run a spooly brush through them or set them with wax or gel -- the color just stays all day without fading or smudging! When it comes to washing off my makeup at night, this removes cleanly and quickly. I will certainly repurchase whenever I run out, but that will not be for a long time because there is enough product in one pot to last well over a year, possibly more.

I have this in Dark Blonde/ Medium Brown. This has an ash base which is perfect for my complexion. I have very thin eyebrows so I first shape with my Milani pencil then I fill in with this powder.. Last all day !! One good thing to know.. is that this container will last you MONTHS !! Alittle goes a long way. For 11 bucks you can't beat it !

I love this product because the colour (ash blonde) is perfect for me and it gives me so natural filling not looking ridiculously *shaped*. My face suffers a great asymmetry which is also reflected in the brows and this is a life-saver

I have this in pale ash blonde. The color of this is awesome when I swipe this on my hand. Its a pale ash blonde. I apply this lightly with smashbox angle eyebrow brush and its a nice color. I just don't understand how it can look so light and then on my brows it looks a lot darker like a taupe color. Maybe its just my brows mixing with the color of the product? I don't think I'm applying this too heavy handed! This lasts all day and does look natural. You get a ton of product for I think I payed 12 dollars. I put I wouldn't buy this product again because you get so much I won't need to forever. This is probably my second favorite eyebrow filler.

This brow color (brunette) is the perfect color for girls with black hair. If raven-haired girls like myself try to use browns in our eyebrows, we end up with brows that look "red"... not cute. For some reason you need a pigment with some "ashyness" in it. Yeah I said it... ashyness. sounds crazy right? before i used this B.E. brow color, i was using a dark brown shade to fill my brows, and i could never figure out why my brows looked slightly reddish in photos. I came across this product and immediately noticed the difference. It is so natural that it looks like I was born with amazing eyebrows. I will never go back to that brown shade again! This B.E. brow color comes in a tiny jar with a sifter. I'm not crazy about the packaging because the jar is so small... but the quality of the product is great so I don't mind. I didn't need much product so the jar will probably last a long while.

I got this in Brunette, which is WAY WAY too dark for me. I have black hair as well, but the powder was way too much of a flat ashy dark, almost charcoal gray to look natural. I looked like Groucho Marx.

The formula itself seems like it's probably pretty good, but since the color was so off, I didn't really get a chance to wear it very long since I pretty much took it off right away. The other colors might be a better match for others, but unless you have raven hair, this might not be the best for you.

Aside from the usual BE non-travel-friendly packaging, this container does come with a sifter, which is way better than not having one, which is how I heard the old packaging was.

I wasn't sure what to expect because I've only used pencils. However, I haven't been able to find any natural-colored pencils so I tried this powder as a last result. Not only was it a powder but a loose powder. And I love it! The look is natural and you need very little (if you overapply, it looks fake).

I use this all the time for my brows and I really like it. I have naturally dark eyebrows so the brunette color works perfectly for me. You have to use a light hand with the powder though or the color will go on very dark. I remedy this problem by simply picking up the color from the lid instead of from the powder in the container. This also makes the container last a really long time because you barely need any powder to get the desired effect. It can be easy to spill over too so be careful. It stays on very well throughout the day, but I always use it with a brow gel. I don't like brow pencils as well as powder because I have a much heavier hand with a pencil and I could never find a good match for my dark brow color that wasn't too black or too brown. Because of this, Bare Escentuals brow powder is perfect for me.

I bought the lightest shade and it comes out way to dark on my eyebrows. It always spills and drys out my skin, I guess this is a love it or leave it product.

decided to try this product out based on the reviews here, and I am glad i did. For $11/jar at Sephora, it's cheaper than the Anastasia brow powder and the brunette color here looks more natural on me than the brunette version from Anastasia (which is more brown). The powder stays put all day.

Great brow powder. I used to use a pencil and I was looking for a softer, more natural look. I am NW20 with dark blonde hair and the color dark blonde/medium brown is such a great match for me. I apply this with my MAC 266 brush and it does a great job adhering to my brows and skin! I do not use this for shaping, I use it to darken my brows a little bit and extend one brow since the lady at the salon waxed the end too short :( It literally lasts all day, I apply this at 7am and when I take my make up off at 11pm, it still looks freshly applied! The jar this comes in is .01 oz (28g) and it will last me forever. Trust me, a little bit goes a long way. I am not a BE fan, but this is a winner for me :) Update: I am now using the shade Pale Ash Blonde, matches even better :)

I use this every day. I like it, but it isn't very exciting in any way. Dark Blonde/Medium Brown is a perfect colour for me. I'm very glad I read the reviews before purchasing the darker shade. I wish the jar had a sifter, because it is easy to spill the powder. I would buy this again, but the small jar will probably last forever. I have used it for over a year, and it still got more than 70 percent left. Edit: I also use it as an eyeliner with an angled brush on lazy days. Good stuff.

I buy the pale/ash blonde. It is so hard to find the right shade for medium-blonde eyebrows; usually they're either way too brown or way too light. I really like this one. My eyebrows are lighter in the middle than they are on the ends so I use it just to fill in the middle part, it works great, and looks really natural.

I've been a Bare Escentuals user since the late 1990s but amazingly enough, I never used the mineral foundations or eye makeup. I lived in San Francisco when you could only find Bare Escentual stores just there or in select airports around the country.

I started using the brow kit back in 2003. I was visiting friends in SF (I live in Memphis now) and dropped by one of the stores to pick up some of their wonderful lotions and get my first brow wax. The MUA there introduced me to the Brow kit. I'd never used a powder type on my brows as I was using regular waterproof black brown mascara! I know I know! So, she showed me how to fill my brows with the use of the brow powder and I was hooked!

Over the years, I have tried other brow products but I'm never satisfied with them! I've even tried the much touted Anatasia products and I find them too overpriced and don't work well for me. Bare Escentuals brow powder is truly the best!

One small container (the only size you'll find it in) will actually last a whole year. You really don't need but a small pinch to use every day for both brows.

I found that applying the brow gel first, let dry, then the brow powder and finally brow gel again is the best way! This will make the brow powder last longer and look more natural on your brows. I have very thin brows and I NEVER leave home without putting on brow powder!

I'm filipino so my color is the darkest one they have: brunette

I bought this after remembering how great my brows looked after an Origins makeover where they were filled in. :-) I purchased the brow kit at a BE store, which came with the brush, gel and the brow powder -- I got the Dark Blonde/Medium Brown color, which is perfect for me. I LOVE using this to fill in my brows! The brush is easy to use, and while I despise the whole "swirl-tap-buff" BS, it makes sense with the brow powder. Swirl a bit on the brush in the cap, tap off the excess (if you don't it'll just flake onto your eyelids!), and then gently sweep the color on in strokes. Afterwards, a little gel, and voila -- perfectly polished brows. I hate BE packaging as it is leaktastic, but a small gripe for an otherwise awesome product. If I ever run out (not likely in this lifetime!), I would definitely repurchase.

I got a sample of this from Sephora -- in Dark Blonde and Brunette.

FYI, I have black hair, but I find dark brow colours look too Groucho Marx on me, even with my black hair! However, the Brunette shade, dark as it is, looks very natural. In fact, it is the darkest shade I've used that looks so natural!

(I had been using the duo brow powder from Anastasia.) Anyway, both colours are great - I might buy the Dark Blonde to mix with the Brunette for a "no makeup" look. Each pot is only $11, so why not?!

The only gripe I have about it is that the pot has no sifter on top (from what I saw in the store and what I've read on here). That would be the only improvement I can think of to make this product better. I am going to buy the full-size pot as soon as I get my butt back to Sephora!

Ps - I am not a Bare Escentuals fan, and I love this brow powder.

I Love this product. I have been using it for over a year and it still looks like a new pot!
The brush is nice and firm, gives nice control for application.
I have the brunette, which is very nice and dark.... I have darkest brown/black brows and this colour suits me fine - I usually find product either too light or to dark and heavy looking for my brows.....
The clear mascara is exactly that and went in the bin months and months ago - easily replaced with a high street alternative.

I admit, this is the only brow 'powder' I have used - I'd only known pencils before..... but I do love it and am not looking to change to anything else. I think I might actually die of old age before the pot runs out......... so it is possible that at some point, I might have to change - to a shade of grey maybe?!

Application tip - I never dip my brush into the pot.
I take off the lid, put the pot somewhere safe and use the tiny bit of residue that is in the lid - More than enough product - No mess!
If I need more I put the lid back on, tip the pot and then start again. Easy.

I originally bought this powder because I had problems finding a brow powder/pencil that was brown without all the reddish tones, which many (for some reason) tend to have. It looks horrible! So when I first got this, I loved the great, natural brow color. I've been using it for at least 6 months, probably more, and I am just fed up with it! Loose powders are doable for some things (eyeshadows, face powders, etc.), but eyebrows are the necessity for everyday, all the time. This powder is SO DARN INCONVENIENT! I hate always having to mess with it on mornings when I'm rushing out the door. It's really a shame, and I wish somehow I could get the same thing in a pressed form. I guess if you're a loose-powder kind of person it would be fabulous, just not for me.
