As soon as I heard that there was a lipstick called 'Snow White', I knew I had to have it, and I was even more excited to learn that it was a blue based red! I am such a fan of the NYX texture and Snow White is just as moisturising as the other NYX lipsticks I have, plus it is a lovely build able colour that you can put on lightly with a brush or pack it on.

First off let me begin by saying that NYX has some of the creamiest lipstick textures I've had the chance of indulging in, however, I feel like I got the bad part of a deal because the color on the bottom of the lipstick is not the actual shade that comes out on my lips. I believed that the color I was going to be getting was more of a tomatoe red with orange hues but instead it turned out to be blue undertones. On me it came out a fushia red which looked awful againt my nc20 skin with warm undertones. I think this might look better on people with cooler skin tones. Swapping it.

My perfect red! This is a deep, matte blue-red with a super-creamy formula that is pretty much opaque on the first swipe, but can be dabbed on for a lighter stain if the color is too intense for you. Personally, I love how it looks blood red against my fair skin! Just note that, as is the norm with red lipsticks, you really have to use a lip liner with this shade to avoid feathering.

This is one of the best "reds" that I have. The product is creamy and has a very good coverage. The color is very intense and you will need a perfect definition of the lips. I looove this red!!

I look like a vampire queen with this one applied heavily, but applied with tact it can look lovely. It's a red that is very dark, so it should be built up to a desired shade, so I need a mirror to use this.

I love this! In the tube and swatched, it looked a bit brown, but on my lips it transformed into a deep scarlet shade with slight plum undertones. It's so striking and lasted all night... theres was quite a bit of transfer onto cups but the colour remained deep and bright! I didn't notice any obvious feathering either.

A gorgeous vampy scarlet/dark red which is cheap but worth much more than it is.

It goes on soooo smooth! But I hoped that the color would be a little bit more orange than pink.

This is a truly crimson red and it is really stunning, especially when you consider that it is so mind-blowingly cheap. I have it in the round lipstick version, and it has great staying power and application is pretty smooth. It is truly a beautiful red and you should seriously give it a try, even if you are a HE snob. You won't be disappointed.

My favorite red! It is intense, but it isn't over the top bright. I own this in two formulas - Round lipstick and NYX lips. I prefer NYX lips because I think it's a little bit more creamy in this color, but they're both great!

Oh my, after trying all these expensive red lipsticks (Chanel, YSL, Dior, NARS, can't count!!), my holy grail lipstick cost only $1.50?? Are you serious?!? After hearing all the rave reviews of Snow White and the fact that I love her, I had to have it!! When my package came, I greedily ripped it open and voila! I tried on Snow White in all her glory and it was the red I had imagined for so long. A pigmented, true blood red that did not have orange or pink undertones!! It is a matte lipstick, so you need lip balm to prep. I cannot go one morning without at least dotting this on, I've grown so used to the gorgeous red color!!

It's a great color, but it has too cool of a tone for me personally. But I think it would look quite dapper on someone less yellow than me. Very good for a pin-up look. I highly recommend Nyx lipsticks in general, and this is one of the best ones. It's a matte color, so a teeny bit drying, but not too bad.

It's one of the best reds. It sells itself because it's a universal red. I have dark hair and brown eyes with light-medium skin. I've seen it look great on everyone from fair to very deep cocoa skin tones. So it's a good shade to have in your collection. I uploaded pic #3 for a close up.

I love red lipstick. I am pale with short black hair. How could I refuse NYX's Snow White?! Creamy and highly pigmented, this is one of the best colors of red lipstick that I have ever found. I highly recommend it!

I most of the times apply it very litely with a brush because this colour ist very pigmented and you have to apply it carefully so you don't look like a clown - if you apply it litely over a lipbalm as I do it will be looking like a stain so noone can tell I am wearing lipstick - it looks really pretty together with ivory eyeshadow (NYX Vanilla Sky or Geisha) and black eyeliner. A classy look. The colour is a rather deep true red - look at the pic I uploaded for you :)

I purchased a number of red lipsticks from NYX lately, and this was one of them. I am pleased with them all. This is the shade of red that you think of when you think of red lipstick, and, unlike many other NYX products, this one is very aptly named.

The shade is what you'd think Snow White would wear. The color is rich, bold, and RED. Texture is on the matte side - I prefer to wear a little red gloss over it so it's not so dry-looking. I'd say this is a truer red, with a blue bent. Sometimes colors like this turn fuscia on me, but not this one. I think it is true enough that it would work on a wide range of skintones.

Staying power is impressive, color is great, the price is right, and the name is too memorable and cute not to want to buy it again. If you want a red lipstick, do try this one. Even if doesn't work for you, at least you haven't blown a whole bunch of money on it.

This is my perfect red lipstick.

Not orangey, not purple, not pink, just RED.

Feels really creamy, not drying at all. I love this color. Goes great with some black mascara and a little bit of liner.

This is truly a red that is slightly blue based, but very flattering on my beige-olive medium skin tone. It really brightens your face; it like the other reviewer said, does not cling on to your teeth either (and I don't bother to wipe my inner lips when putting this on). I wear it with a liner and it's moisturizing and has excellent staying power. This lipstick truly rivals HE brands. Lastly, it does not turn fuchsia!

This is my HG red lipstick and is more moisturizing than MAC's Russian Red. This stays on all day and doesn't give you the red lipstick "clumps" that cling to your front teeth. Their lip liner Deep Red matches perfectly with this color.
