As soon as I smelled this in a magazine sample I wanted to go buy it! I finally bought the smaller bottle and I love it! It is a sweet smelling perfume, but not so sweet you want to throw up. My mom is bothered by most perfumes, but she loves this one! She even asked to use some of mine. It is a bit strong for a really hot summer day, so I'll wear it more when it starts to cool off. The way the perfume smells reminds me of Valentine's Day or something. It smells just how I imagine all of the sweets in the advertisement would smell.

Another "flowerbomb" fragrance. Smells like freesia dying in a big cotton candy.

When I first saw the ad for this, I got excited. With all the cupcakes and other sweets in the advertisment, I thought it would be more gourmand (vanilla). Instead, it reaked of flowers...harsh flowers. It doesn't stand out as anything special, just very generic. This is just your average department store fragrance. Easily forgettable.

Out of the bottle this smells really nice, however when I sprayed it on my skin it came on really strong. It lasted a really long time too but I could not wait to wash it off once I got home. My mom even told me I smelled like mentholatum or medicine. It could be my body chemistry but definitely not a keeper for me.

I was pleased to get a sample of this as I love the original Pleasures, but this was not what I expected. As others have noted, it's an Angel clone that is a little lighter on the patchouli. I do find it more tolerable than Angel, but overall, scents that are heavy on the patchouli just aren't my thing. I'm not crazy about Coco Mademoiselle, either. For those who do like Angel and Mademoiselle, this will probably be right up your alley. And it has excellent staying power. I can't say that I blame Estee Lauder for wanting to capitalize on the current craze for sugary sweet scents, but I hope at some point the people who design these fragrances will get a little more creative, and every new scent won't smell like somebody's take on Angel or Pink Sugar.

This is my HG fragrance for spring and summer. It's sweet, it's strong, and it's blush pink! It's everything I can ask for in a scent, and it works perfectly with my chemistry. I have never been a fan of the Pleasures line, but this one is so different and lovely that I have become a die hard fan. I even have the lotion and body gel, and both match the fragrance of the parfum perfectly.

Notes used in Pleasures Delight are:
Top Notes: Juicy Pomegranate, fresh Greens, Freesia, whipped Strawberry Meringue.

Middle Notes: White Peony and Lily, Muguet, Heliotrope.

Base Notes: Sugared Rose Petals, Caramel, Marshmallow, Vanilla, Patchouli.

Despite all the notes, the main ones that appear on me are strawberry, vanilla, marshmallow, and peach (!!). It has a slight tropical quality, which makes it perfect for warm weather. And even though it is strong, it is not cloying on me. The blush-pink bottle is adorable with it's brushed silver cap.

All in all, I will purchase as long as they make it. I'm almost finished with my small bottle, and when I run out I will be purchasing the largest one they make.:)

This is one of my top fragrances. When I wear it to work I have had people follow me down the hall just to find out what scent I am wearing. I like this so much better than the orginal pleasures, this has a candy sweet note that I love. I don't have to use much of this at all, I think it can be overpowering if you use a heavy handed spray. It is a heavier scent but I still love it for summer.

As soon as I smelled this on an advertisement peel off tab, I knew I gotta have it!!! Luckily I bought a miniature sampler bottle on ebay and it arrived today. Firstly I hate HATE the original Pleasures as it smells of rotten eggs on anyone. Delight is sweet and tasty like candy shop aroma within the first 5 minutes of spraying, then transforms to more sweet floral than delectable for the next couple of hours, before eventually drying down to a base very reminiscent of Lolita Lempicka. This disappoints me because I was hoping the very unique top note stayed consistent throughout, but what I'm left with at the end of the day is an unimaginative cheap replica of a perfume another designer was made famous for.

Thought this was going to be light and airy but found it heavy and cloying. Gave me a headache. Way to heavy. The dry down made it even worse. Had an "old" and cheap drugstore feel to me. Doesn't smell at all like the original Pleasures in the least which is light and pretty. I was going to give it a 2 as I save 1's for the disasters like Eternity and Jacobs "Ivy" as it's not nearly as awful as those two.. but if something gives me a headache and flips my stomach.. it gets a 1.

This is my absolute favorite perfume! It is rather light, but very sweet! This stuff smells almost good enough to eat with its vanilla, strawberries, marshmallows, caramel, and sugared rose petals scents... My boyfriend loves how this smells on me! It is absolutely perfect to wear during the day, however, for a night out with my guy I would probably choose a scent that is a little more sultry and seductive. I will definitely buy this perfume again!

I bought this because it smelled a lot like Angel, without that bitter chocolate note. My husband loves Angel, so I thought he'd love this. Well, he doesn't. And after wearing it for awhile, neither do I.

It's dried down from a yummy, confectionary delight into smelling plasticky and cloying. It quite literally is making me sick to my stomach. You know what it reminds me of? The way a brand new Barbie doll smells (Or did, when I was a kid) when you first take her out of the box.

Yuck.

This smells exactly like the ad: flowers, cupcakes and strawberries. Yes, it is sweet, but it is not annoying. I think this is the most youthful fragrance by EL. When you first spray it, it smells like fresh flowers with a tiny sweet twist, then it evolves to the cupcakes and strawberries phase, that to my delight, is still fresh. I really recommend it.

I don't like the other Pleasure fragrances, but this one has captivated me. Once the sales woman sprayed it, I was in love and had to buy. Now of course that means no more going out to eat this month. It is expensive but this stuff stays on. It's not a headache causing fragrance either. Soft.

A scumptious, creamy, beautiful fragrance. Funny, I really wanted to hate this. I mean, come on, "Pleasures???" So mainstream and so bland. Yet, this new incarnation is so different from the original. This stuff is foody, but is blended so well and with enough patchouli to balance the whole thing. You get hints of marshmallow and strawberries, but not so much that you feel like you should be dessert. Do not make a judgement from the bottle--this stuff really needs to be worn. The drydown is absolutely gorgeous and reminds me of all the good notes in Angel (without some of the body odor issues that fragrance can emit). Really worth a try. Update: Still like this scent, but find it a bit too cloying at times.

I must admit, I hated Pleasures Delight when I first tried it at the Estee Lauder counter. I walked away and didn't give it a second thought, until I was ordering Pure White Linen Light Breeze and chose Pleasures Delight as the sample gift because I've heard some great reviews about it since my initial sniff. I love that this perfume is not too sweet, not too strong and that it is quite a different fragrance from all of the other Pleasures. Mmmm, yes, I smell vanilla and something else that I can't quite put my finger on what it is. Feminine and delightful, indeed. A light spray or two (at the most) is plenty and this fragrance lasts. I am still using my generous sample and will most likely purchase a bottle once I run out.

I got this perfume for Valentine's Day after smelling an insert in my magazine. I got the kit with the shower gel, body lotion, and 1.7 oz EDP. And it smells amazing and lasts all day. I remember smelling this in the past and hating it, but you have to give it a chance and actually smell it on yourself, not on a piece of paper or whatever. It is so lovely and feminine smelling. My boyfriend loves it too!

I love this fragrance...after 3 hours on the wrist. Don't be fooled by the first sent that comes out of the bottle, it really transforms with the heat from your wrist and changes to a wonderful bouquet of berries, vanilla, flowers and soap. At first it smells like a couple of other perfumes, but as said, it transforms after a while so you need to try it before you buy it.

It's all vanilla to my nose. Yes, it's a warm and subtle kind of vanilla, not the harsh one like Escada Magnetism. Actually, it's really nice if you are looking for vanilla type of perfume.

But in the other hand, the scent is not complicated enough for an estee lauder perfume. You don't buy expensive perfume just to smell vanilla. It must be more than that.

It's funny that after smelling Delight, it remind me of something. Something i've smelt before.. and guess what. It's my Lux's spice body shower.

And I'm quite bored with the bottle.

I will buy it if it's not that expensive or if I have extra cash to burn. But for now, I can easily replace it with something from Victoria' secret.

Yummy! Pleasures Delight is a foody fragrance yet is sophisticated and long lasting. I love that is an eau de parfum and not an edt. I spray it on in the morning and can smell it on my pillow at night. The initial spray reminds me of Amor Amor, but as it dries down it is much less fruity and abrasive. It does have a similarity to Angel, but it is much less spicy. It's worth a smell and a bargain for $45 for 1.7 oz!
