I have had a complete reversal on this, I thought I couldn't wear it but now I love it :-) I first smelt this on a friend earlier in the year, she smelt incredible, like a tropical cocktail, floral yet creamy. She told me it was Michael Kors so I bought myself a bottle. Sadly it just didn't work, I thought it was way too strong on me. Cue several months later, I was curious to try this again so I bought the EDT. Although more subtle it doers not have the same creaminess as the EDP. I gave in and bought the EDP last night and now I adore it. The tuberose note I was scared of is now less of an issue as it fades quite quickly on my skin and I am left with a delicious cloud of creamy florals. Lovely!

I liked what abother reveiwer said about this scent smelling like Pepe le Pew so i'm going to go with that for my reveiw. I like to think i'm walking around the streets of Paris looking in windows of nice little stores, sipping on wine or coffe in a nice little cafe. All of a sudden i notice that everywhere i have been i have smelled a wonderful scent the entire time. It's spicy and very floral....a very big white floral. I'm sitting outside of the cafe and a little prancing, frolicking skunk walks by with a very deliberate look on his face and he is emitting fumes or vapors. When his scent wafted over to me i immediately realized it was him how was scenting up the entire city of Paris. I asked him what the scent was he had on and he said in a beautiful and articulate accent that it was "gardenia and tuberose my friend....with spices". I thanked him and he went on his way. His scent was very strong and it hangs around in the air. I continued on my walking tour of Paris with the wonderful scent of gardenia and tuberose in the air so i knew Pepe was not to far behind.

Great perfume. Love it but, caution it is very strong and not everyone's cup of tea. My hubby hates it so, I only wear it when I go out with the girls. Try it and see if it is for you. It is one of those fragrances you will either love or hate.

I bought the large bottle of this years ago when it first came out. I remember smelling it in a magazine on a scent strip and falling hard. Took forever to find a bottle of it and when I finally did, I wore it everyday and received many compliments. I would describe this as a creamy floral....creamy tuberose to be exact. I'm no longer a big fan of florals, but this is a great perfume!

Michael is a beautiful, creamy tuberose scent, but it's so strong I don't dare wear it out of the house - I'm pretty sure it leaves visible scent-vapour clouds in my wake a la Pepe le Pew.

For me, this is the ultimate fragrance. It lasts all day, I don't smell it too much on myself, but everyone else comments, so I guess they can smell it!

It's really floral, but not too girly. Quite sophisticated, but still playful. I have been addicted to the scent for a good 5 years. I also think that it transcends age groups, I have smelt it on teenagers and older women.

I can't rate the scent highly enough!

Let's start off with the description directly from MK website:

From designer Michael Kors. Like his fashion collection, the fragrance feels both comfortable and rich. Familiar notes are combined in unprecedented, bold ways to create a polite and traditional yet exotic and sensual fragrance.

The sophisticated, sensual fragrance blends:
• Top notes: Creamy florals meet exotic spices. The mix of dewy freesia and Moroccan incense conjures up images of Hawaii, St. Barth's, and Marrakech.
• Middle notes: Tuberose, blue orris, white wings peony, and arum lilies carries you to New York, London, and Beverly Hills.
• Bottom notes: Cashmere woods, musk, and vetiver, notes which bring to life the glamorous nightlife of Palm Beach and St. Tropez.

This is a very classic, very floral, very girlie fragrance that oozes sophistication! I was given a small roller ball of this from my Mom. I wasn't 100% sure about it until trying it on. It enveloped me in it's glamorous, intoxicating scent. This is by far the best mix of floral. It's unbelievably versatile! I was actually very surprised. I'm very much a girl who wears only one certain fragrance each season but this is my all season scent!

MK does fragrance the way he does everything else. FABULOUSLY!

I don't think there has been a day go by when I haven't been told that I smell good when I wear Michael. I've tried to find other fragrances to add to my collection, but each time I go to put a different one on, I change my mind and go for my bottle of Michael. It may sound strange, but for a little variety I sometimes wear coco butter as my moisturiser and it in combination with Michael works well on me. I love it! My favourite fragrance of all time.

This Is one of my favorite fragances. Or should I say my second favorite. The smell is so sexy. I don't think its over powering or two strong its just right. If your in to flower smells. This is the one! I will def be buying this again which is going to be very soon.

I don't like this very much... I knew that this would be floral rather than spicy or woody like I like best. Even though this smells better on the skin than on paper, it simply doesn't suit me. It really REALLY reminds me of Daisy by Marc Jacobs, a perfume which I don't like (but this one is better). I don't like this fragrance because there is no sweetness at all to counterbalance the strong smell of flowers. I don't think it's such a unique or intriguing perfume at all. It doesn't smell bad either, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're going out and don't know any better. To me, there's a very fine line between very sexy, feminine fragrances and old lady-ish ones. Unfortunately, I think this perfume crosses it - in the wrong way.

This is not one of my favorite fragrances, I find it a bit heavy, BUT it makes my boyfriend insane (in a good way), so for that MK gets 5 lippies. :D

For reference, I love Marc Jacobs Daisy, Stella McCartney and Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline.

I really love this perfume because it is totally out of my "comfort zone" as far as scents go (my signature perfume is Ralph by Ralph Lauren) and I really love it! It is a very strong scent, but it's beautiful, feminine, and sexy. Unlike my other perfume, I only spray this on my wrists and dab it behind my ears because, like I said, it is very strong. But the lasting power is amazing and I find myself still sniffing my wrists at the end of the day. I am the kind of girl that uses the same perfume every single day and I don't really have a perfume "collection" so I'm excited to now start mixing up my scents and wear this very florally scent some days and my Ralph perfume on other days. I believe that perfume can really enhance your mood and the mood of the atmosphere you are in. This tuberose perfume is perfect for days when my mood is a little more on the sensual, girly side and I love it.

I wanted so desperately to like this but apparently MK and I are not friends. The SA at Nordstrom was nice enough to make me up a sample of this, and I forgot it in my purse for a day which left the lining smelling amazing. I couldn't wait to test it on my skin... and now, an hour later, I have a headache and I feel like I've been smacked with cheap drug store tuberose body spray and maybe some musk. After a hearty scrub with hot water and Dial it's still attacking me. It has to be something with my body chemistry because I normally love white florals, and this smells lovely in the air and on other people, just not on me. :(

I sprayed just a little on my wrist at Kohl's, and soon I could not wait to wash this off. Unfortunately, I got a little on my jacket too so I had to wash that as soon as I got home. It was way too floral and gave me a migraine. I don't think I like tuberose at all.
I think those who love tuberose might appreciate the staying power, but it wasn't for me.

potent, mainly lush tuberose.

even one spray on the wrist has considerable sillage... it's a bit spicier than estee lauder private collection tuberose gardenia - that one is a daytime/casual tuberose, while this one is more sultry and chic.

i don't get a lot of other things other than the tuberose - once you spray it on, it's pretty linear until you wash it off, lush, creamy, full tuberose with a smidge of spice, which in my book would put this closer to a soliflore than a composite fragrance.

it is very very heady, but tropical, so if you used a light hand you could most definitely wear it on summer evenings. if your skin doesn't take tuberose very well, however, it can smell like a cheap mess, so skin test before buying!

overall, for a mainstream release it is a very good tuberose - i'm just glad it's not a cloud of fruit-vanilla-cupcake sweetness, like lots of other popular perfumes. it is solid, but doesn't have the beauty of tubereuse criminelle, which is my HG - hence the 1 lippy off. very fairly priced for a long-lasting EDP.

for your reference i'm a tuberose lover, so this is right up my alley - if you don't like tropical white florals, it may not be for you. if you liked michael, you'll like tubereuse criminelle (serge lutens), tuberose gardenia (estee lauder), tubereuse (l'artisan parfumeur), and tubereuse indiana (creed).

HG perfume! this is so different than anything ive normally worn. it is very floral but creamy at the same time. i get a lot of compliments on it. i find myself spraying it all the time, even at bed because i like it so much. the lasting power is good on me, although i dont notice it as much now cuz im used to the scent (hate when that happens). if i could change anything about this product, it would be the packaging which i only gave a 2. yes, it is very pretty but it has no cap! all perfume should have a cap. so i feel like i could never bring it anywhere, and i dont see myself buying the rollerball because it is double-ended and one side has a lipgloss. for some reason i find that gross.
overall, smells amazing, would definitely smell before you buy it though and wish they would change the packaging. and yes, i will be buying again and again!

They should do a RECALL on the bottle of this perfume! It is impossible to spray it on without it leaking all over the bottle. And it does not really spray, but squirts a small amount that runs thru the entire bottle. The scent is ok, but it is overwhelmed by the very impractical packaging. Thumbs down.
