I bought two of these, in Toast and Molten. The Molten was a bad choice for me, too "dirty"looking on my fair skin, but the Toast is wonderful. The feel very silky going on, and I have no trouble blending them. I do have to be sure and tap my brush off, or I end up with a lot of fall-out. They do crease on me, but everything does, and these last longer on me before creasing than most shadows.
I would buy more of Ulta's shadows, but only on sale.

I love the color variety that Ulta has, and their sales are really great on a budget.
The colors do need a good primer first and a touch up mid day, but for me, all shadows need a touch up so it's no big deal for me. The colors are very vibrant and with a good brush blend well. So far all the colors I have are the same in the packaging as they are on my skin.

I bought three of these for $10 in Twilight, Sandstone, and Aztec Gold (my favorite one). The color payoff for the shadows is great, BUT the shadows are very soft (a lot of fallout during application), and the staying power kinda sucks. I have oily lids, and at the end of the day (without primer) these shadows crease and fade something awful. I found that if I foil them they last much longer. If you have less oily lids, then these would probably work well for you. Otherwise, a primer and/or foiling is a must. That being said, I still will continue to use the ones I have, but I might have to pass on a repurchase unless I found a color that I just couldn't live without.

Im not a big eyeshadow person and only recently started experimenting with them. Im also not a regular at Ulta, but bought a few of these for the first time at one of the BOGO sales. The price is right and the color selection is great. But I found these shadows very disappointing. They are not easily applied or blended AT ALL. Where ever I sat my shadow brush first is where the shadow sat I could not smooth it on my lids. I use really soft brushes high end brushes and they did not move this stuff. I returned the unopened ones and will not repurchase. My nieces can play with the others . . ..

I bought six different shades of these eyeshadows. So far I have tried the terracotta. Very pretty in the pan and when it goes on it's a pretty, but basic golden tone. I notice alot of flaking with this and like golden glitter specks around my eye and on my eyelashes. I think Ulta eyeshadows are good for work, errands, lunch etc when you just need a hint of color and want to rush out of the door. As others have said, you really have to put on 2 to 3 layers plus to really get a good coating on the lid. The colors are beautiful in the pan, but are not richly pigmented on the lid. I really have not worn all day yet to judge about longevity yet. As for a hot date or nite out on the town and I really want great staying powder, then I will use MAC at that time. I don't like to use MAC for running around and work because they are more pricey and are highly pigmented so at times I don't want to look that done up. So these are good when you want to be a "glammed up" "plain Jane".
EDIT: I have had this eyeshadow on in terracotta for about 4 hours now and I really don't like how it looks. It's really lost it's intensity in that short amount of time. Thank goodness it was BOGO.

I have many different colors of the Ulta shadows. They are generally BOGO, and if I want one, then I have to get the second one. Next to UD, that are my most favorite shadows. I just bought Shamrock and use it as an eyeliner. ( It's a shimmery green ) it really brings out the green in my hazel eyes. Stays wonderfully and easy to apply. I probably use Silk and Lustre more than any of the others. Good stuff!

Ulta's shadows are a great buy. You gets lots of product and have a great color selection for a very low price and there are usually deals or sales. They wear well with no creasing and can be used wet or dry. Great bargain.

I tried Ulta's shadows in Knit (a peachy shimmer) and Cognac (frosty medium brown) because they were on sale. The Knit is really a lovely color, it's nice for day wear if you have need for a warm base or just want a little pick-me-up for your eyes. The Cognac is a sheer brown, and a bit dark for that, imho, but it could work for a night look, I guess.
That said, I was rather unimpressed with these shadows as a whole. They were not as blendable as I would like and they were both really sheer. Yes, I know, one can build color, but I honestly don't have time for that in the morning as I have three children to get ready. I was really disappointed as the color selection is amazing, but I was hoping for more saturated color, especially on the brown. I won't be purchasing again, as I can find something closer to what I need from Coastal Scents or drugstore brands. It's really quite a shame, as I was loving the color selection.

These come in a great selection of colors, and they are usually on sale, which is hard to resist. The application is smooth, but can be tricky. These come way too sheer with just one coat, so you have to keep on layering them to get the true color. That's the downfall, so I tend not to wear them on a daily basis because I don't have time for the application.

I don't wear shadow a whole lot, but if I do it's always Ulta's. They lay on the lids wonderfully and are so easy to blend. The price is great too. They also don't crease and the colors last all day/night. Love it!

Ulta makes great eye shadows. The colors they produce are lovely and they give a very silky look. The price is also amazing. These are the best eye shadows that I have tried.

I like it. It's not quite Mac or Urban Decay, which run neck and neck for HG in my book, but it's a close second. And it's cheap. And it's always on sale, so you're not heartbroken if you end up hating it. I would say give it a try. I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised.
EDIT: I just added another lippie. I have more than a handful of these now and they are AMAZING! I believe the only reason these are not getting fives from everyone is that they are not considered 'high end'. Put these same shadows in a MAC pot and they would be instant classics. I'm actually liking them better than some of my UD shadows these days.

I have 7 or 8 of these because there are buy one get one free sales often and it was hard to resist those sales. The matte ones are horrible..hard texture, hard to pick up with a brush, hard to blend, etc. The shimmery or frosty ones are better quality. Except for one or two, they are actually very soft and smooth but lack pigmentation including the new formula eyeshadows. You really need several layers if you want them to look the way they do in the pot. The staying power is also poor unless you use an overly sticky base which will make blending more difficult. I also notice that when blending, they sometimes end up looking very dull. These aren't that bad..but if you are used to pigmented and blendable eyeshadows, you may not like these even at the low price. You can find inexpensive eyeshadows that are better quality than this. I am giving this a 2.5.

I have purchased many colors of this e/s and most are very good but a few change their color once on the skin, some seem a bit chalky and hard to pick up color. I would re-purchase however but I will check the texture on the testers first instead of just grabbing what appeals to my eye. A plus is that for $6.50 a pop, I can handle a few color disappointments.

Not bad! They are high pigmented and long lasting. Plus they're affordable so you can purchase a wide variety of colors without breaking your wallet.

I was very surprised at the quality of Ulta's eyeshadows. I purchased "molten" (a dark brown with gold sparkles) and "plum smoke" (a shimmery umber tone). Both are very pretty and highly pigmented. I highly recommend these especially when bought on Ulta's very common BOGO sales.

I am very sad to say that this product has not worked for me at all and believe me it is not for lack of trying.
Throughout the year I have managed to purchase a pretty decent amount of Ulta eyeshadows in various colors and different levels of shimmer. Upon application the colors are always very nice and vibrant, however, once I blend them out they totally fade on me and wind up looking like a very dull version of what the color started out to be. I have tried 3 different bases, including the ulta eyeshadow base that they sell along with the shadows, and nothing has worked. At this point I give up.
In the final analysis these shadows just don't work for me. I suspect the reason might be that my eye area is a bit too crepey despite the fact that I am only 31 years old.

Ulta's eye shadows are a good quality product at a decent price, especially if you pick them up on BOGO. The regular size eye shadow pan is as big as a half dollar and it lasts forever. I bought a makeup sampler a while back that contained 28 dime-sized colors. Some shades didn't look like much until I tried them on. I was pleasantly surprised that so many were wearable even when I thought I'd never choose that color. Ulta has an abundant selection of eye shadows and you certainly can't go wrong for the price.

I really like Ulta’s shadow pots. They are a great bargain (I get them on sale, and they often have coupons too!!). I think I have about 9 or so. Pigments are really nice and have a good staying power. I find mine easy to blend, and they don’t crease (although, I do use a primer under). I especially love their shimmery ones. Shimmer is subtle, very nice-no big chunks of juvenile glitter here!!! Will definitely get more as they go on sale!!!
