I love this! I've been working on getting nice nails after my acrylics were removed a year ago. Been taking fish oil supplements, putting vitamin e oil on my nails twice daily and NO polish. I think the polish and the remover were making my nails dry and brittle.. They are now strong and actually almost over the tip of my fingers..never had that before. I've been missing having a shine on my nails and am afraid to buff..they are thin enough. i tried this Natural Shine and its my HG polish. Makes my nails look well groomed and buffed. Dries in a flash...no mess..no peeling. No need for polish remover. This stuff is awesome

i dont wear nail polish on my fingernails, just my toenails so i was looking for something simple, fast and natural looking that would not be hard to keep up but still make me look 'done'- this stuff is just what i was looking for! i got it in pink tint, which is pretty much clear, not overly shiny, like the last reviewer said, it leaves your nails glossy and buffed looking, but not disco shine glossy. this is great stuff!

Neat stuff! This was an impulse buy; to be honest I wasn't sure what made it different from any other nail polish. I purchased this in the pink tint. First of all, it's a lot more watery in texture than regular polish. Secondly, you don't get a hard, shiny coat - instead, your nails are left with a soft shine as if you used a nail buffer. What I love is that it dried in literally seconds! I also like the brush which has short, stiff bristles that fan out very nicely. Thumbs down for the packaging, though. The bottle is tall-ish and made of really flimsy, light plastic and because the liquid inside is also of a light consistency, I nearly knocked the whole thing over each time I brushed off excess polish at the opening. Not to mention the danger of the stuff just sloshing out. There was absolutely no tint on my nails but I don't mind since it's supposed to look natural. Overall? I would repurchase! My nails look well-kept and healthy in a natural, I'm-not-wearing-polish way.

P.S. A layer of clear nail polish over the Natural Shine looks FANTASTIC. My nails have never looked so smooth and glossy!

Like some of the other reviewers, I read about this product in Lucky magazine. I purchased the pink tint. Rather than imparting any shine to my nails, it left a weird white sheen on my nails, and therefore no shine. For me, this is definitely not wearable.

I'd recommend buying a clear polish instead.

I read about this in Lucky mag too and purchased it. This is really just a nail enhancer, just to add a little extra shine to your natural nails without the bling that most shiny clear topcoats provide. I like it because its nice and subtle, making your nails look neat and well kept without looking too overdone. The pink tint is really that, a barely detectable pink tint.

I am not a nail polish wearer, except on the toes and I love this stuff. I got it in pink which gives a pearly blush shine to the nails, looks like they have a buff. Very pretty and you don't need remover, it wears off on its own. It is hard to find though as I had to go to 3 or 4 stores and finally found it but I will definately repurchase.

I hated this product. It did not make a difference at all. There was no shine & I couldn't detect a pink tint at all. I would up putting a coat of a shine topcoat that I had laying around. I am completely disapointed. I read about this in Lucky Magazine & I feel the article was completely deceptive. They showed a picture of a little pool of this stuff & it looked more like polish so that was the impression I had when I went to buy it. I would not recommend.

Having read about this in Lucky magazine and hearing a friend recommend it, this product is exactly as promised. If you buff your nails, you know how great that sort of matte shine is. This product gives you that healthy look without the risks of buffing, such as weakening your nails. One coat makes them look buffed; two gives the look of clear nail polish (I bought the pink color and see no tint whatsoever). It also dries in approximately a minute. The only caveat is that the brush is really teensy, so getting an even coat was a little troublesome.
$6.99 at CVS. The gold tube is the pink tint, the silver tube is the clear.

Not at all what I thought it would be. I agree with the first reviewer - a clear nail polish would be much better. The nail I tested it on looks only slightly better this morning than my other (naked) nails. Last night when I tested it, it did look very matte while drying, but looks a little shinier this morning - but not by much.
Packaging is terrible - very liquidy - if it got knocked over, forget it.

I went in search of an alternative for my Neutrogena Instant Nail Enhancer (tube dried out after only a week of use and now I can't get any product on the brush). I picked up a tube of Sally Hansen Natural Shine a few days ago and am already in love with it. I have two coats of the pink tint on my nails and one on my toenails right now and they look so healty and shiny! No chipping that I can detect yet and I did a lot of dishes the other night. Only gripe is yes, you have to make sure the bottle is on a stable surface and be careful when applying or else risk a nail polish spill, but at least with this packaging, I can actually GET to the product and not risk the applicator drying up on me (Neutrogena, :p). This will definitely be a repeat purchase!

EDIT - it's now July 2008 and I STILL can't get enough of this stuff! And I figured out why the packaging has to be so crappy.... the product dries so quickly on your nails that when packaged, it needs as small a surface area to be in contact with the air as little as possible and this goofy narrow packaging does the trick. I've made peace with it.

I really like this product a lot. I have both colors (pink and clear) and as others have said, the shine lasts and lasts. I don't know if the product is particularly good for your nails, but it's a great casual look. Highly recommend this as an alternative to buffing. I use two coats.

When I get a manicure I love how my nails look after they're buffed so I was hyped to try this stuff. But this pseudo polish actually removed the nice subtle shine of my newly buffed nails. Yes there was still a very muted shine but my nails ended up looking as if I'd just removed my nailpolish--kinda dull and flat. Also the container for this is ultra stupid. It's a tall plastic squarish tube that is very tippy with a nail brush in it; the container is just too tall for stability. Also packaging makes this product sound like a conditioner of sorts but it's just a weird mattifying polish product that will smear and get marks if you don't give it enough time to dry. If you're looking for that subtle shine that buffing gives your nails, look elsewhere. I'd rec a clear polish over this.
