My face and neck does not naturally match since my face is the colour of blood and my neck that of snow. Since I'm so very pale it is a nightmare finding a foundation that can handle the redness without looking pink. Mint concealer all over helps a lot, in fact, if I had to choose over foundation or Mint Concealer I would go with a dusting of mint any day.

Many are afraid that it will turn their faces green, but if applied properly all it does is tone down the redness. A little goes a long way, since the idea is only to tone down, not to cover the redness.

For once in my life I have a face and neck that matches, just because of the fantastic work Mint Concealer does.

EDITED: I try not to buy anything from EDM any longer due to certain events that have made me decide not to support this company any longer. It is not that I do not like the products I own from them, but just that I personally cannot embrace them as a company.

I got this in a sample kit....and I want to love it. But I dont. I have rosacea that is REALLY hard to cover up, and I though green would do the trick. Unfortunately after using Mint I just looked green. For whatever reason the combo of my skin tone/foundation and mint did not work. many people love it. My advice? buy with caution. Dont be afraid to wait a little longer and order it in a sample kit.

This is decent stuff, but it's a little tricky to use. It's best used by dusting lightly over the face if you have a pale but ruddy face to calm down the redness a bit. It's a really light green so I don't know if this would work with darker skintones. Use a light hand because it will probably make your skin look paler. You should definitely wear this under a foundation.

t's ok for toning down the redness in zits, but it doesn't do any better (and maybe worse) than just applying some EM foundation with an eyeshadow brush. Overall, I think it's worth experimenting with if you have ruddiness issues.

I have redness around my nose & around my chin that EDM foundation doesn't cover completely. I tend to use a pretty heavy hand when I conceal so I've been using a mix of 50% mint & 50% intensive medium concealer. Just brush it on with a concealer brush and then a layer of concealer and you'd never know there was any redness to begin with!

If you've been seeing the green underneath your foundation, try mixing it w/ intensive light or intensive medium concealer.

i wanted to love this because i really believe in using green to cancel out red. this was way too light for me. i have some redness in my cheeks due to damage from a blistering sunburn i got about 9 years ago, and this was just ok for that. i also had some big, realllllly red pimples that have shown up since i started using my clarisonic (purging period!), and it was NOT GOOD for those. to use enough to actually disguise them, it would become very light and very green. in order to keep it from being overbearingly light and green, i used it very lightly and that did nothing, unfortunately. might continue to use it on my cheeks for very subtle redness, but not for actual blemishes as it just didn't work for me. the green in my olive-toned foundations does a better job on its own of eradicating my reds! UPDATE 3/24/09:: I tried light almond fdtn as a concealer and it's so much more effective! i wear sweet almond, for reference.

I'm really starting to like EDM, because their products really do give a flawless look to your skin with very natural results! I looked pretty green when i applied this to my acne scars, however, when i placed my foundation powder on top of it, my acne were barely noticeable as the redness of them were rather a great distraction to my face. The green powder were not shown on my face once i stippled my foundation on top. I'm really glad i tried this out with the sample kit and i'll be purchasing the big one once i run out of this!

I LOVE this product! I have pale skin and naturally flushed cheeks so I love that it covers the redness =) A little goes a long way and as long as you buff it out on the lid or your palm before you apply it, it works like a charm. (Too much will make you look green, sick, and a bit like an alien =P). I bought the full size and I have a feeling it's going to last me forever because you only have to use a miniscule amount each time =) I love it!

Very good at covering red areas, as long as you don't apply too much, 'cause then you'll look like Shrek or something.
I use this, mixed 50/50 with my Start to finish fair from EM, as a primer (or finish powder), and the redness in my face is reduced.
Excellent!

The Mint concealer really conceals my redness! I read some reviews about how it leaves a grayish green tint. If you are seeing a grayish green tint after you applied your foundation, then you have put on too much of the concealer. You only need a tiny bit! I use a small concealer brush and light dab the product over my cheeks. The formula is smooth, and conceals my redness without being cakey. I don't just use it with my mineral makeup, but also with my liquid foundation. It is a great product that I have recommend to many of my friends.

It does cancel outs my redness, however, when I apply my foundation over it, you can see the greenish a bit. So, the part with the mint concealer on is lighter with a tint of green. Eh, maybe I just don't know how to apply it right? Benefit of a doubt.

This stuff is fantastic! My cheeks are really red and this tones it down so well. I've never had the problem of it making me look ashy. Just dust it on before your foundation and voila!! Even toned skin. :)
ETA: I won't be repurchasing this. I needed the mint to cover up redness when I used EDM foundation, but I've switched to a better foundation that doesn't require a separate concealer for the redness.

This is great for covering redness. I use a small fluffy brush and apply it to any red areas, pimples or irritated areas, and I sometimes get redness in my cheeks, or strangely at my temples. And then apply my EM foundation over it.
There are some youtube videos that show how to apply this concealer if you're having trouble.
I got it for free in one of the sample kits, so you can't beat the price. I don't think I'll need to repurchase; the sample size will probably last for years, but if I do run out then I would repurchase.

I have a really hard time getting the Mint Concealer to blend into my skin. I've tried various ways of applying it and nothing seams to work. I rather use the Sunlight Concealer to cover any red areas.

As others have said, I also have problems with the application of this product. I wanted to use it for redness in my face, and it seems to cake all over my face and not blend or look smooth at all. If I use use a fine sweep over the affected areas it seems to be okay, but you can't add more to that area or else it cakes up. I wouldn't re-purchase since the sample free size is all I need to last me forever.

I actually really like this product, serves its purpose in covering redness... but it does not blend as well as i like it to. This also does not stay on all day (I don't use face primer only finish powder).

This works pretty well in covering blemishes, I noticed it doesn't emphasize the bump of my pimple like my cream concealer but neutralizes the colour.

Definitely don't need to repurchase again... because this little sample probably would last me a life time.

This concealer is so great!! I love it. I got it in a sample size and a little goes such a long way that it is going to last a long time. All I need for each side of my face is two taps of the container on a small plate, then I swirl my Coastal Scents buffer brush in it and apply. I don't really get blemishes too often, so I use this to tone down my incredibly ruddy cheeks, like another poster, I am really pale and pink. Anyway I just dust the brush over my cheeks and buff buff buff. If I didn't use too much, or turn into Elphaba, then the redness is instantly much less noticeable. I've found that I need to wear less foundation because this concealer makes such a big difference in my skin tone. If your skin tone is just redder or pinker than you would like, but basically even texture-wise, definitely try this.

This concealer is alright. If I mistakenly add too much to certain area, the concealer is hard to blend out, and it will cause a greenish tint color to my skin. However, if applied correctly, this concealer will cover blemishes and redness okay.

I have this redness (patches almost) on my cheeks that I can't seem to ever get rid of. Needless to say, I was always hesitant to use blush because of this! However, this is no longer the case!
[ PROS ] - neutralizes the redness a considerable amount, goes on easily, does not irritate my skin, effects last throughout the day, very affordable
[ CONS ] - packaging is terrible (spills everywhere most often), using too much causes me to look ill
Though I am not certain it would work as well for small/individual blemishes, I would definitely buy this again!

Wow this stuff is fantastic.

This concealer helps with my two major skin issues: monthly PMS breakouts, and Irish heritage(ha ha ha, as in super pale but also pinky undertones).

Upon reading reviews on this board, I have to agree with the majority of reviews who said "use sparingly!!!". This thing is GREEN people, it will turn you green too if you're not careful. The tiniest dab in the middle of a red blemish and then a whole lot of blending should give a good coverage and "neartalize" both the red and green colours.

I honestly don't know how EDM manage to stay in business while givingout such huge free samples, but I'm just going to keep my mouth shut and enjoy the benefits...
