Wow--there is an alarmingly high amount of negative reviews regarding this blush. Here's the deal with my review--I purchased this a while ago. I ran low and even repurchased. Is it my "Holy Grail-Can't-Live-Without"? Not quite. However, with the onset of winter and cool weather, I've noticed that my powder blushes that I love so much (i.e. Cover fx in the light peachy color and Benefit's Dandelion) have a tendancy to look a tad on the dry side--some days the VERY dry side.
That said, I took out both my tarte blush stick in "flushed" and my Smashbox O-Glow. Now..I'll tell you something. I used to love the Tarte stick back in the day when I tanned (BACKSTORY--I had skin cancer on my face and had surgery in April--so I don't tan anymore). Now that I've embraced my "pale", the Tarte makes me look clownish.
Hence--the Smashbox O-Glow is perfect.
Now..Here is how I apply: I squeeze a little dot...very little dot on my finger and then proceed to dab this dot across my cheek. If I notice that I need a bit more, I repeat this process. I like this because you can control the color--and believe me--the color this clear gel turns into on my cheeks is very lovely. It goes on over my foundation very smoothly as well. Hint of pink--not too bland--not clownish.
It is pricey--but I've had my current tube for over a year as I use it "in season". Blush is one of those odd make-up items for me. Either it is too clownish--too pale--too dry--there always seems to be an issue with many blushes I've used over the span of many years. I have to say, this Smashbox O-Glow, along with Dandelion and that Cover FX stuff are my three favorites.

I wasn't convinced that a product could work like this promised and i'm definitely glad I didn't get my hopes up. This product is hard to control, smears my foundation and stains my fingers. I applied this with and without make up applied first and both ways, it sucked. The strange, barbie-like color it creates is not flattering. No matter what you use to apply it, it smears and is impossible to make consistent through your whole cheek. Overall, wasn't impressed.

Really pretty gloss. Nice consistency and makes lips look as if you've just bitten a juicy cherry. I think each chemistry handles this differently based on the other reviews, but I happen to love this gloss. I am pretty certain it will become a staple in my makeup bag!

This is a fantastic product, makes a very enhancing pink color from a clear gloss (pretty cool technology) and I use it all the time now...very nice for everyday wear, a bit more than YLBB...also very moisturizing. Especially good for my over-50 face; looks natural but with ooomph. This will be a staple for me from now on...

This primer-textured blush goes on smoothly and allows you plenty of time to blend in--unlike the Benetint cheekstain I used to love. I love that it looks as though the blush comes from within and it doesn't just sit on top of your skin. It does mimic that glow that you get. Naturally when I blush I'm more strawberry red-pink than the bright pink that this gives me, however, it's beautifully flattering. One drawback that I have to agree with another reviewer, is that while blending, this does ball up my foundation (currently using Playstick in Jump Rope). I worry that my foundation will look uneven where I've blended, but strangely it doesn't. I would repurchase this for it's no-fuss=pretty blush function. I've tried the gloss, too, and love it just as much. Four star because of the foundation balling.

Wow, what a complete rip off. It does not react to your skin it reacts to the oxygen when it is exposed. It gives everyone the SAME colour, and does not adjust to every skin tone, its the same bright pink. It also balls up foundation. In other words, do not even bother purchasing this product.

First, it is not "intuitive cheek color". It's a red dye that reacts when it comes in contact with moisture (air, skin, etc). With that said, it is still an awesome product. It has the feel of a primer, but unlike a lot of other gel cheek stains, this one gives you plenty of blending time. For fair skin I think it looks amazing. The biggest draw was the ample amount of blending time. Really gives an O-glow.

Thank goodness I tried it before buying it. It looked like I had a severe case of heat rash! It doesn't blend well and feels like primer, sort of slimy, which is ok under foundation but terrible on top, it just smears everything around. I think everybody gets the same color from it, I don't buy this "unique" color business. It reminds me of the lipstick that turns "your unique color," when really it looks the same on everybody. It looks pinky pink on all of us. I don't like this product at all.

I actually rather like this little gimicky product! I dot a little on the apples of my cheeks for that "just pinched" look and I like the sweet pink colour that results, it just seems to work with my colouring. I can see how it could easily be disasterous though! I also have the O-gloss and get scary fuschia pink lips with that...

I absolutely love how this looks on my skin. It's the blush I've been searching for. It goes on almost clear, but somehow works with your own body chemistry to produce a totally natural, sexy looking blush. It really gives a glow much like its name implies.

I like natural 'flushed' looking blushes, and this one does not disappoint. It has a really slick texture very similar to the foundation primer. I apply a small dot at a time and blend well. If its not enough color, I'll add another thin layer. It is a very bright pinkish color (on my skin) but it goes well with my coloring. My only gripe is that it leaves my finger a little pink , but i just clean it off afterward.

I was so excited when NZ got Smashbox, and this was one of my irrational purchases (silly me didn't check MUA first!!)
This *does* give my cheeks a bit of colour, but it was so splotchy and the pink is all uneven. It made me so mad, and I couldn't just wipe it off and start again because it was my skin getting splotchy :(
What a waste of $56NZD. Gah!! That little happy flutter I used to get in my tummy when I would go past Smashbox has now become an angry grumble because I am so, so disappointed with everything I've purchased there.

I was so disappointed with this product. It has the same texture as the Smashbox Primer, which is great for a primer not for a blusher. Application was soo messy, no colour payoff if you use little and if you add more then the colour is way too much. When applied on, you have to blend it on your face with your finger, and the payoff is not great so after you finish the ending result is a rash effect on your face, and a really hot looking finger! It is really expensive considering the amount you get in one tube and how much of that tube you use each time. Definitely a let down from smashbox.

This really works!! I loved the color of pink it gave me. However it is difficult to use with powder foundation so I probably won't buy it again.

Apparently this gloss is supposed to enhance your natural lip color. It does not. After application, my lips were an unappealing pink shade. But at least the consistency of the gloss is smooth. Otherwise, it is overpriced and not impressive.

This blush is useless to me since I wear powder foundation, I don't like putting liquids over top. It is unique in the sense that you get your own unique shade of pink, however, I prefer powder or creme blushes as I am able to work with them a bit better.

If you want a blush that looks natural, this is for you. I don't like "normal" blushes because I think it looks to heavy and not that natural on my skin. This one looks perfect on me. It's cool that everyone get's a different shade of pink.
You can use this as a primer or base to your other blush if you want to. The blush will stay on longer.
Update: Stoped using this because I got clogged pores, which I never get in my cheeks. Started using NARS Orgasm and Bella Bamba from Benefit. The same color, only that I now have clear skin.

This product turns my lips a very pretty pink color but the intensity of it is not even. It turns a dark pink in the middle of my lips and a fuchsia on the outer edges.

Wow, I am so shocked to see such bad reviews :0 First of all, I love this product because you can manipulate it with your own finger. You only need minimal product to get chiseled cheekbones with this cheek tint. It is lovely and one of my absolute favorites! A little on the pricey side though.
