I have tried so many expensive versions of this ... and this one really works the best or at least every bit as good. I recently used this one and Fekkai (taking turns) and honestly, this one, costing what? $4.99? was as good as the Fekkai that costs - I think - around $28? ... Now that's just crazy. Guess what I will be buying from now on!! My hair is soft, shiny, and I even get compliments on how "healthy" looking it is. I have wild, curly, wavy, dry hair so any compliment is a great thing.

Don't buy another deep conditioner without trying this one first!! I wish I knew about this when I was spending $60 on Kerastase masks from my hair salon. The results were no better, and in many cases worse, than this fabulous mask. I'm not sure what Pantene did with these Time Renewal products to make them so good, and I don't care as long as it doesn't stop! Smells great too!

My HG deep conditioner!! I have thin, blonde, dyed, naturally straight, damaged hair that tangles easily. I needed a deep conditioner that was cheap, did the job, and that I could purchase near me.
I bought them for 3.33$ on sale at Target. For that price, you can't beat it!! It works better than any of the expensive stuff I've tried. It comes in a 8oz tub that I like because you don't waste any product and can control how much you use. Oh, and it smells good!! (My BF loves it)
I use it about 1-2x a week. I put it after the Time Renewal shampoo, then slather it on and put a plastic bag over it. I leave it for 15-20min, wash it out, and my hair is super smooth and silky!
Will repurchase again and again!!

This product has saved my hair from destructive bad hair dyes twice (one black and one blond)!! Its the most amazing product I have ever used. It doesn't weigh it down or leave it feeling oily. Its so light I've even used it daily as my regular conditioner. I'm fortunate to have thick and naturally great hair but I torture it with dye and flat irons. After using this product my hair felt soft and healthy again ( at a time when I was afraid I was going to have to cut off my long hair after a platinum blonde at home fry job.) On top of the amazing outcomes its cheap! I have purchased pricier products like Ojon, Aveda, etc but honestly I can't say that they did any better if at all as good as this and it costs sooo much less.

Absolutely the best deep conditioning treatment I've ever come across...and I've tried a lot.

It was only a little over $4 at Walmart. I got the last jar, so you know it must be popular.

At first when I started using it, I didn't see much change. In fact, my hair felt more straw-like, but I pushed through and after the 3rd time, my hair feels AMAZING. I've been using it every 3 days or so for the past 3 weeks and I cannot believe how much this has helped my hair. I have no split ends, my hair is much more manageable, and smooth. It even helps reduce frizz in high humidity. Will definitely repurchase.

This mask is wonderful! I used it on my chlorine pool hair. It made soft and shiny like satan. I think using cones once and a while is good.

This product definitely made a positive change in my hair. The first few weeks I used it, it made my hair very soft. However, I think my hair has since become a bit "immune" to it because I do use it very often, like every other day. It doesn't make my hair as soft as it used to. The packaging is also very inconvenient as things can get slippery in the shower and I don't like having to unscrew the top and dipping my fingers in, then screwing the stop back on with conditioner on my fingers, thus making the whole jar slippery. I don't think I would repurchase this again because I found Pantene's Fortifying treatment, which has almost all the same ingredients as the Time Renewal Replenshing Mask and it comes in a tube; I tried it out once and it did pretty much the same job. I believe it is also cheaper. so I am going to use the Fortifying treatment one next.

Nov 09 UPDATE: I don't know why but maybe my hair got used to it because this product has stop working for me. =(

This mask is great...I don't even need to use a daily conditioner anymore! And it was only like $4 (at Wal-mart)!
I leave this stuff in my hair for 5 minutes, once a week, and it makes my hair soooo soft!
I just wish it came in better packaging - when I'm in the shower, its hard to unscrew the lid, dip my fingers in to get the product out & screw the lid back on when my hands are all wet.
I've only used this twice so far, if my opinion on it changes I will update :)

This is, hands down, the best conditioner available at the drugstore. The whole point of the Time Renewal line is to "repair damaged hair by restoring its silky feel." Now that's simply marketing, as nothing can restore hair once it has been damaged, but this product is absolutely wondering at protecting hair from future damage. It works because this is one of the only two conditioners (the other being Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner) that contains a silicone as its second ingredient. Silicones are the only ingredient known to actually shield hair from damage. Not only that, silicones provide a silky, smooth and glide over hair in a way that plain oils cannot. Not to mention the smell of this mask is absolutely incredible. If they made it as a perfume, I would definitely buy it. Don't waste your money buying the regular Pantene Time Renewal Conditioner as that is just a standard conditioner, nothing special. This is really the product you're after if you want silky hair. I use this product in conjunction with the Pantene Time Renewal Shampoo and my hair has never looked better. Others are complimenting as well. If you are looking for truly high-quality, state of the art shampoo and conditioner at the drugstore, look no further than the Pantene Time Renewal Shampoo and Mask or the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Shampoo and Daily Deep Conditioner (Don't bother buying the Triple Moisture Mask, it too is a standard conditioner). I personally choose Pantene because it is generally cheaper and goes on sale much more often. At regular price, Pantene Time Renewal retails for $4.89 at Target and Neutrogena is $4.99.

OMG! I could not possibly rave enough on this product. It is utterly amazing. Guess what i use it for? A hair mask and a Face moisturizer! It literally cleared the horrid dry flakes from my face. It used to be red, flaky, and i could not even wear makeup! It looks so flaky and my pores were frozen in place. I even had little bumps on my nose. After using this 3 times in an hour (LOL) it is almost clear! Make sure to put it on when your face is wet, though. It really locks in the moisture. As for being a hair mask... It has truly saved my hair. My ends was fried from being colored too much, ridiculously dry, and i couldn't even straighten it because they would never stay. After using this My hair is smooth and soft, unlik being crunchy and frizzy. My hair is vibrant and looks beautiful straightened and curled. My hair is medium length but my natural color is half of it. I'm trying to grow my hair out so i can be rid of the colored side. I cannot damamge my hair anymore, lol. I will continue to use this after my hair is grown out to keep it look fabulous.

I used to use this once a week, but then I stopped for many months while I was in my "all-natural, all-organic" phase. I've since grown up from that limited mindset that all this natural = GOOD because I've seen more results using non natural products!

I just used this yesterday and although my hair hasn't been through much (I've permed it 5 times in my 17 years of life; never straight iron or blow dry), I was AMAZED at how light and soft my hair felt! In fact, I had a hard time trying to keep my hair from not falling in front of my shoulders because it was so silky and unbelievably smooth! Even after almost 2 days, my hair feels like it's been straight-ironed and still is smoother than I have ever felt it. Will definitely buy this again - HG status!

I MUST remind you that it is VITAL that you squeeze out ALL the water from your hair before using this treatment mask! The last time I used this I didn't get nearly the same result because I completely forgot to squeeze ANY water.

EDIT: Took off one star because Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Treatment is my NEW HG!

My hair is really damaged from dying it several times, and this lil tub of treatment is my staple, HG, top 10 product, whatever..my love <3

I'm on my second jar, and this stuff lasts a long time.
There are a lot of products in this tub, and the tub does make you use it more hefty or something, but i think this tub is better than a pump because I can scrape the very last of this magic cream and not waste a whole bunch which can happen to those weird shaped bottles.

It is just amazing, detangles my damaged hair, moisturizes and makes it soft and shiny.

I use it daily as a conditioner , just on the ends of my hair and not the top/scalp part because this treatment CAN weigh down hair since its so rich.

I can't live without this product now.

I love this!! It is perfect for my bleahced over processed hair. It has helped reduce some breakage while I try to grow my hair out. I only wish that it came in a tube or bottle instead of the tub as the tub is a little akward in the shower.
My hair feels like satin after using this conditioner!

I've always been wary of Pantene and the 'it coats your hair in gunk and wax' rumours, but if that's what this mask does, I don't care, because it works so well, and does what it claims.

This is the best deep conditioner I've used. I love how silky smooth it leaves my hair feeling. I've tried several (Neutrogena, Fructis and John Frieda) and this one is my favourite of them all. I have quite frizzy straight hair, and using this a couple times a week combined with a little Fekkai Glossing Creme to style tames frizz and flyaways like nothing else.

Some people will complain about the tub, and the awkwardness of using it in the shower, but I actually like it. There's something about scooping it out of a tub that makes the product feel richer.

This stuff is the absolute best! It makes my very thin hair feel so much thicker, even in the shower right after I rinse it out, my hair just feels so much heavier. I can actually wear my hair down after blowdrying with no volumizing products when I use this. It is truly amazing. and it makes my hair very soft. I will always buy this, and I NEVER say that!!!

This stuff is wonderful! I tried Neutrogena's Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Mask first after reading great reviews on MUA, but realized after purchasing that it was the same stuff I had tried a few years ago and didn't like. So, after seeing reviews for Pantene's Time Renewal, I was hopeful, but didn't set my expectations too high. I have long, thick hair that is prone to waviness in humidity. I blow dry it straight and heat style, so it's hard to find a conditioner that offers serious conditioning, but doesn't cause heaviness and greasy looking waves. This product offers exactly what my hair needs. I don't like that it comes in a tub (yes, a tub, not a tube), but for the price, this is a definite re-buy.
