I love this concealer, it's the best! Tan is the perfect color for my strong yellow undertones. It hides my dark circles so well. The consistency is wonderful, never ashy or cakey. The brush applicator makes applying so easy! I'm on my second and will continue to purchase! A definite staple!

My biggest complaint is undereye circles. I had been using Laura Mercier Secret Concealer, but just found it to not be covering my undereye circles completely. I always saw shadows no matter how many layers I put on so I went looking for another concealer. I was looking for something that was not in a compact and not in a tube so I started looking at the wand type applicators. After reading reviews and considering pricing, I decided to try this one out and boy am I impressed. Although the applicator is not very good for applying (I found the best application in using my finger, or if you are one of those lucky gals that has a Beautyblender that is even better yet). No shadows are under my eyes whatsoever. I also had a blemish on my cheek, but I had trouble getting proper coverage using my finger and using a concealer brush so I decided to use the point of my Beautyblender to apply the concealer and it covered it flawlessly. My skin now looks perfect and I couldn't be happier! Although I don't have any wrinkles to speak of around my eyes, I did notice it seeped into fine lines around my eyes. While this is not a problem for me (and I only noticed it at close view in a makeup mirror) it could be a problem for some. The concealer has a powdery creamy consistency which would explain why this could occur. However for me, it is perfect and I will continue to use it as long as it continues to cover my undereye circles completely!

This was OK. The colors are very limited. The "click pen" works well for under the eyes - but hard to apply to blemishes. (used a separate pointy brush for that) It does blend well and has good staying power - especially for blemishes/red marks. I found that it looked great when i first applied it but dried darker and finished too powdery. I don't use foundation so it may look better under makeup. On it's own, it looks too obvious.
GOOD COVERAGE but bad color choices. Looking for something more "natural" that can stand on it's own.

This product really covers my dark circles, still, it is very drying to my skin. The click pen is horrible, yet the brush is wonderful. I have NC30 skin and uses fair, the lightest color. The price tag is $19, which is the most i've ever spended on a concealor. I would not buy this again for it takes too much time to blend.

Nice medium to heavy coverage, which I like. The brush pen design I feel ok about. I just wish there'd be more colors to choose from, although the one I picked (medium beige) seems to go on my asian skin fairly well (stila 20watts, loreal tru match W2 or W3). I'd probably repurchase if I can't find anything better; thinking about trying Becca next (but the testers i saw at sephora felt pretty dry...) or Laura Mercier.

The good:
This is my HG concealer. It covers everything - undereye circles, blemishes, etc. - without being cakey or creasing as the day goes on. It doesn't settle into the wrinkles under your eyes (something I've found to be a problem with Laura Mercier concealers). The consistency is like a thick cream, not runny and it blends easily when putting it on, but stays put through out the day. Fair color is a great match for my skin tone, and fades in very easily; you can't tell that I'm wearing anything at all.

The ok:
There are a limited number of colors, so though you might want to use the Eraser, Tarte may not carry a color that matches your skintone

The bad:
I hate the click-pen packaging. Sometimes I turn the base twice and I get way too much product; sometimes I turn the base twice and I don't get any product. Because I usually end up with too much product through the click-pen, I use a separate concealer brush to dab on the product. I love this concealer, but Tarte, I beg you, please change the packaging!!!

I went to look for a concealer in a tan shade for my summer tanned skin. I was thinking about trying the Stila, but decided on this one, as the color was a perfect match. I don't think it's really drying but rather has a different consistancy then most creamy concealers. Almost like air whipped creamy. The key is to dab and press, over foundation for me. It seems to last as long as any other concealer and hides my dark circles well. I just bought it last weekend, so still testing the waters!
8/20 update: I still like this concealer a lot but have to agree the click for product is inconsistant and sometimes too much comes out or none. It tends to get dried up on the brush. I'm thinking this product in a tube would be perfect! Also it does cover blemishes and tiny capillaries very well!!

I'm sorry but this didn't cover anything. I was hoping it would give me a light coverage for my dark circles but it didn't. It made my skin look even more dry than it already did. It was crap.

I love this concealer. I pat it under my eyes with my ring finger. Blends nicely and I set it with powder. It doesn't set into fine lines. Also it's creamy and not dry. I purchased it on QVC it comes as a duo. Which means you get two. I am still on my first one and it's been more than 6 months.

Yuck!! Way too dark to be labeled for fair skin. Also, extremely dry looking. You put it on under the eyes, and it cracks and settles into the fine lines you didn't know you had. Gonna toss it.

Teribble product and dumb packaging! I am a major fan of tarte so I was very excited when I found out about this concealer but boy is it a peice of crap. It is very drying and gives you lines where you never thought you had any! The click pen seems to not always work and it's very hard to get all the product out of the pen. Because this concealer is so drying it tends to also leave dry patches and flakes. The color choices are not that great considering that the light is very dark and some of the others have a weird undertone. Any imperfections that you are trying to cover up are only made more obvious with this concealer. I also wear a very good eye cream. My advice to anyone who has dark circles is to try lancome effranes waterproof concealer. It covers extremely well and it does NOT crease at all or dry your skin.

This is a nice concealer overall. Gives good coverage and the fair is a perfect match. My only concern is it's a bit dry. I've been using the guerlain issima and love the creamy texture, but it's not as much coverage. I'll keep looking for the perfect one.

I agree wholeheartedly with the previous review - the click-pen applicator is a pain. The product itself is very nice, despite the price tag. I ordered this in medium, which I suspected might be too dark for my NC 30 complexion, but it blends wonderfully and looked just right. I use this primarily for dark circles but found it can be used all over for spot concealing. I am thinking of writing to Tarte to complain about the applicator because it is such a nice concealer. Lasts all day, no creasing or caking. I really like this so far. Will update to report how long the tube lasts with daily use; I'm concerned that there isn't much product there.

The Eraser is Tarte's new concealer - unlike past products, this truly is a concealer, not a highlighter. I bought this in Fair and wear Smooth Operator in Facade. I'd say Fair is a bit darker than a MAC level 15, but lighter than 20. It's neutral, but I wear NC15 and it matches me very well. I've only tried this under my eyes, but it covers all my dark circles perfectly. As well as Amazing Concealer, but without the wiered orangeyness or awful creasing. I set it with LM Secret Brightening Powder and it lasts *all* freakin' day without creasing and very very little fading. This is probably the best concealer I've come across, I'd definitely re-buy. My only complaint, and the reason I took off one lippie, is because of the click pen style of applicator. It wastes product because you can never get to the last drop, is a PITA when it takes 10 clicks to get it started, then it spooges out all over the place, and the brush it worthless for applying the product. I use the brush to dot it on, then blend it in with my own brush. Overall, this is a major winner (minus the click pen aspect). Retail is $19.50 usd.
******EDIT******* Just want to add that I am not sure where all the comments about this being dry are coming from... I use an eye cream, and set with LM Secret Brightening Powder, and have not had any problems with dryness or creasing. Reviews subsequent to mine do not mention how they are using this product.
