My skin has yellow undertones and is combination skin. My skin has a slightly tanned look to it, not pale at all.
I purchased this in medium and i love it! HG finishing powder all the way! I dont really like mac when it comes to powder/foundation as i find them too orangey! I'm a NC 25 but i find it too orange but i know the NW would be too pink, but anyway, this powder matches my skin brilliantly, it doesnt really cast too much of a colour, sort of transparent.
I use this on top of a Laura Geller Spackle primer and Estee Lauder double wear light foundation, it never makes my foundation look cakey or horrible, it gives a lovely finish.
Depending on the foundation used, sometimes i put two layers of this on for a very matte finish.
I hate having too much glitter on my face but although this contains glitter, it doesnt contain too much and make your face look like a shimmer.

Also, the tub of it lasts ages! I put the price as $$$ because it is a little pricey compared to drugstore, but i find that drugstore foundations i will use up very quickly, this is because the powder is flat. In this mac one, it is slightly raised in the middle which is perfect so you dont quickly use up all the powder in the middle and get that annoying empty circle! So far, i have used it every day for 5 months and i think ill probably get another 4 months out of it.

I really love this and will definatly buy again when i need to :)

This is one of the first products I have tried from Mac; and I decided to try this when it was 105 degrees outside which is never a good time for ANY makeup. So at first, I thought it made my normally combo to dry skin look oily but now I have figured it out. This is a natural matte finish, which to some people including myself first looks oily. Now after doing even more research on it, and I have worn it out in an air-conditioned room, this will be my go to fall/winter/early spring foundation, but not for the summer. In the summer, at least with this record breaking heat it doesn't turn out well. But during the seasons I listed above this will work out great. Its a pricey 30 dollar powder, and maybe I'll try something else when I finish this up but someday I will go back to it. The packaging could be improved. For one thing add a mirror! Also make sure that the lid isn't loose even when it is locked in place, and near the latch in the back the top isn't on straight. Other then that I do really like this product.

Update: I am taking two lippies off from my previous rating, as I found that this powder broke me out, which means I can not wear it everyday.
I really like it. I have tried so many things to set my makeup and I can say nothing has worked better than this one. I was still skeptical even after reading so many good reviews about it because my previous experience with MAC stuffs is not that great. The other day I saw the MAC counter in a shopping mall and I tried it on there. Surprisingly, it was better than I expected, so I bought it. I've been using it for about a week and I start to like it more and more.
It is light-weight and not cakey at all even if you apply it multiple times during the day. The nicest thing about it is that it gives a beautiful matt finish without making your face looking old (you know how over-matified face can look fake and old). When you put it on, it looks like your own skin. It's got a little more coverage than average setting powers so people with good skin can wear it alone as a light foundation to even out their skintone. I also like the fact that it is a baked powder so it doesn't leave a mess when you put it in your purpse for touch-ups.
Having said that, I don't quite like the packaging, as it does not come with a sponge, so I have to carry a sponge myself during the day. Some people say this powder could be drying. So far I haven't experienced that and hopefully I will not in the future.
In terms of the price, they sell it at 250 HK dollars in Hong Kong. It contains 10g of the product, so I'm guessing it's going to last me a really long time. Overall, I think it's a really great powder for its price.

I LOVE this powder! It has more coverage then your average pressed powder, which is perfect for evening out your skin tone. I put a healthy amount on with a powder brush and it doesn't seem to cake up on me. It's a bit pricey, but you get a good amount and it does it's job for sure. I will probably stick with this for a while. I use it over MAC Face and Body and it's awesome!

I don't really like this product. It's really drying at first and then it doesn't help to control my oily complexion after hours of application. I just don't reach for it too often.

After 4 months of eyeing and being hesitant to buy this product I finally bought it when I had extra cash with me. I did not regret!

I use this alone or over my Liole BB Cream or Face Shop's Aqua Tinted BB Cream. It gives you the most natural and flawless finish just like what everyone said, trust me. It also looks pretty that it's domed instead of flat and such but then all MAC's mineralize things are like that soooo I can't say.

It gives natural glow (not matte). I've never heard of anyone mentioning this but if you look closely at it you see tiny bits of glitter. i mean i dont mind cz it doesn't show at all and i like dewy (MSFN arent dewy tho) finishes. MSFNs are also not powdery, leaves your skin smooth.

I usually swirl around my kabuki, tap off excess and swirl it on ma FACEE!

The cons is that sometimes the powder is too fine that you're wasting product everytime you use it since bits of powder fly off and collects on the side of the pan.

One other thing that I have to mention (my opinions, but nothing negative) is that if I use any product heavier than a tinted moisturiser or BB Cream, it will look cakey. I tried pairing with Maybelline Fit Me, Maybelline Dream Mousse, Maybelline SuperStay, Covergirl Natureluxe and such and such, it turns out heavy! (if you like heavy coverage then it's fine, but I like lighter)

This is not a product I would have given a second glance as it just looked like a dome of powder.

However, after getting my make-up done professionally for a special occasion, I am convinced that this is a good setting powder for foundation and for "matting down" the skin for flawless photography.

I always use this when I know there will be photo opportunities.

It was compact enough to fit in my clutch bag and I only needed to lightly powder my t-zone once- and that was later on in the evening.

This seems very expensive but the same compact has lasted me 18 months and the colour match is very sophisticated.

I also have dry skin but Mineralize does not emphasize this at all. I noticed that it does not "cake" after hours of wear.

Also, the packaging got 3 lipsticks because I think it would justify the price and convenience with a built-in mirror.

Love this powder. All you need is this - no foundation required. Note when you first put it on it may look chalky but within 10 mins it settles and you have flawless skin for the rest of the day. I put it on a 7am and its still looking good at 7pm!!

Mac fan but not loving this. I'm NC20-25 and I have this in the lighter shade. As a setting powder, left me looking ashy n chalky.

Tip from the Mac SA : set with your regular powder and use this for touch ups. So that's what I do. Does work better but I'm thinking that's cos my lightful is great and I'm just only using very little of this so the effects aren't visible.

Lasts a long time but will not be repurchasing

I got this during the hype when it was reliased. Used alone it gives enough coverage, with fndn too much for my liking. Does not last long and I don`t see any "glow" some have mentioned. Very powdery.
Imo overhyped. Lately I`ve become sensitive to bismuth, so now it also itches on my skin.

This product made my face break out. Before I started using this, my skin suffered from serious acne/blemish scars and break outs. I finally was able to keep it down and manage it. A few months later I decided to give powder foundation a try and went in this direction. I should of known better, I've had past problems with facial products by MAC, not including their blushes or lipsticks. After a week of using this my face started breaking out and the bottom on my chin felt very rough and had dry patches. Mind you that I am still using my normal face washing regime, and adding an extra step to remove all makeup thoroughly. For some reason MAC is very harsh on my face, and it is without a doubt in my mind that all their face products make me break out. I will stop using this and probably not purchase anything else from MAC besides their lipsticks, liners, or blushes.

Love this powder! Gives a flawless finish without looking flat and helps set foundation. You only need the tiniest amount of it and it lasts ages. In 18 months I have only gone through 2 of these. Definitely worth the money.

LOOOVE THIS POWDER! this is seriously the best powder i EVER used! its very very natural looking, and just gives the perfect finnish. Not too matte, still allows ur skin to breathe, and to have the dewyness UNDERNEATH the skin, without looking oily. It also smells really nice, and the product last for ages, i've had mine for about a year now and still isn't near to hit pan. love it so much. best natural powder that doesn't feel caky.
looove!

PS.
"though i think there is comparison , with other powders that are good, this one is the one that feels the most natural, like im not wearing anything on my face, i will rebuy!"

I can't believe some of the bad reviews! I think that some of them are because they bought this for a purpose that this is not intended for. This is not by any means a powder foundation! So if you are looking for super coverage this is not for you. This is a setting powder...and I loooove this so much! I'm soon to go to buy my 3rd one. This is a sheer powder that makes your skin look natural..not to matte so that your face looks flats and without dimension, it has a little sheen to it, almost unnoticeable on your skin. I have super oily skin and this makes my face look like velvet, flawlees and very natural.

Im kinda new to the world of make up so im very careful in choosing my makeups coz i dont wanna waste my money on some cheap low quality drugstore products.. some drug store products are good, like the revlon colorstay liquid foundation for oily / combination skin etc., but you really have to be careful in choosing products coz it might break you out or something... So, I dont mind investing money into some really products. and i must say THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH THE PRICE! it really gives my face a smooth matte finish!.. My skin is very sensitive but this product didnt break me out... For oily people like me, you really need to find a good foundation with this, it wont keep your oils , try mac blotting powder or estee lauder double wear foundation beneath it.. it would be really perfect when you apply this with really good foundation:)

OMG this powder is AMAZING. I am one of those girls who doesn't like to put on liquid foundation, but I am 33, and now need a powder that gives a little more but still sheer. I am also VERY picky when it comes to colors, formulas, etc. I read the reviews here (thanks everyone) on the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder. Went to my local MAC and got matched to Medium Plus. I honestly figured I was a Light Plus or Light Medium b/c I am an N4 in Studio fix and wear 5 in Armani LSF and Vanilla in Chantecaille. Surprisingly this is a great match with a glow that makes my skin beam. I am thrilled, because now I can pay only $27USD for a great powder and not the $50-62 I have been paying for other brands. WOW
