I wanted to love this palette, but it just didn't work out. The only good color which was true (as in it looks the same on skin as in the palette) was the taupe (top left). The pink color was very chalky. The off-white color had a layer of sparkle ontop which was just for show. The bottom two purple colors also had a layer of shimmer ontop betraying the actual texture. I thought they were shimmery, but they are both matte. Both colors have decent payoff but also a similar texture to the pink (chalky). With the exception of the taupe, all colors aren't very pigmented imo. All of the eyeshadows are soft, so it's easy to get a good amount on your brush/applicator, but a few of the colors tend to crumble up a bit when using a stiff brush.
I've tried using different types of bases (paint in different shades, paint pot also in different shades, concealer, UDPP) and I haven't found a base that helps with the color without having to use other eyeshadows or pigment ontop.
I know a lot of girls here love this Dior palette but I much prefer MAC/NARS/BB/Stila to these. I got it because the darker purple (bottom left color) looked gorgeous in the palette and I've been searching for that kind of purple for a long time. And while I did like the taupe color, it's not enough reason for me to keep the palette as I have similar colors in other brands. I'm very disappointed.

Just used this for first time this am-i really love this shadow-i used the pinkish color for a wash, the medium purple for lid, the dark purple for crease and outer corner, the white for the inner corner. haven't used the other color yet. Very smooth easily blendable shadows. The shimmer is more of a glow and very classy looking. Highly recommended. If I ever use it up, I would repurchase.
BTW-brown, brown & light olive complex.

J'adore Dior! I have had limitless amounts of fun experimenting with the colours in this palette. They're rich, velvety and highly blendable. I don't use the sponge applicators; instead, I use my mini-makeup brushes from The Body Shop, because they are nice and soft. (I find these shadows to be very soft and rougher brushes make them crumble a bit.) You really can't go wrong with any combination of the colours. The plum and taupe shades are great on the lid. The pink and white both make great highlighters, and the dark purple makes a great liner, or you can blend it into the crease for a soft, smoky effect. They do crease a bit by day's end (though I have oily lids), but not enough to ruin the effect. Ultimately, this palette makes my blue eyes pop and I can't wait to try it on my sister to see how it looks on brown eyes! I never thought a purple/mauve palette could be universally flattering, but I think this one truly is.

I normally shy away from any shades of plum as it gives me the "just got punch look" but this shades of violet/plum changed it all. All colors in this palette work well with each other. I use the colors horizontal, vertical, cross wise or just by itself. They're all pretty. I do use it lightly and blend well. I use the darkest shade as a liner. Texture is silky smooth. Packaging is gorgeous. Price is on the high but the quality is worth it. Another plus is that I love all the colors and they are highly pigmented, so this quint will last me 'til I get tired of it. I will repurchase if i ever finish this.

This is the best purple palette out there on the market, imo. All the colors compliment each other so well. The quint consists of a taupey-grey, light pink, purple, dark purple and an opalescent color. This one palette alone can create so many different looks. The pigmentation is great and applies smoothly. I'd highly recommend this to anyone to likes purples.

One of my favourite palette. Absolutely beautiful and so flattering for green eyes. You will find:
a taupe with a hint of grey
an opalescent white with a hint of pink
a pearly pink
a deep purple
and a dark plum with a hint of red
Those eyeshadows are very versatile easy to take from daytime to dramatic. They are shimmery and easy to blend. An outstanding product.

This is eyeshadow perfected to the max. If I could, I would marry this quint in a heartbeat. Have I ever seen a more perfect color combo?
I don't think so! The five shades are white, pink, taupe, plum and purple. They look so incredibly wickedly good on me I just can't stop staring at myself in the mirror. The shades are highly pigmented to the degree that I can use the purple as a liner. I like using this with pink as a wash, taupe in crease, plum on lid, lined with purple and the white as hihgligher. Don't be afraid of using all fivv colors in one FOTD, this is pure color harmony. The look I get is extremely sophisticated and ultra sultry and sexy. Dang, where have you been all my life?

A gorgeous e/s palette! The colors blend so well and yet have a lot of pigment. I love how the plums bring out my brown eyes. It is costly at $52, but the packaging is to die for as well as the product inside. Definitely purchase this if you're on the fence, you won't regret it!

I love this palette:) It made my green eyes POP! I look like a movie star! This is a MUST-HAVE for every green-eyed girl in the world! And I think these shades suit everyone! I have now worn them for 12 hours and I it still looks like I've just put it on my lid. The colors are beautiful, and I like the fact that you can get both a everyday-look and a party-look in one palette.
I don't use the sponge-applicators, but brushes when I apply the shadows. They do blend very well together. I also love the packaging a lot, so sophisticated and pretty! Now I only need this and I'm ready to go! :D My favorite M/U-product. And will definitely buy this again, but there are so much product that it will go on for years..

I love the colors in this compact, especially the deep rich plum which is perfect for green eyes. I actually wore this quint for my wedding day.
I was kind of disappointed when the iridescent shimmer top- coat wore off the highlight middle shade, it was one of the reasons I was drawn to this. For $60CA, I'd have to say it's not really worth it unless you love ALL of the colors. They are nicely pigmented and they are very easy to blend. Stays vibrant long after applying. Very dramatic looking if you want, or soft, with a selection of cool and warm colors. I found that the shadows aren't quite as long-lasting as other brands, yet I love how smooth they go on. I would buy it again... If I ever ran out.

Can't say it enough..If you have green eyes..You NEED this.Perfect combo of purples&pinks.Colors include a taupe w/ slight lavender undertones very similar to MAC Coco but not as silvery,a pale pink,an opalescent white,a smokey plum and a deep eggplant..All create the perfect purple eye that can go either polished or dramatic without making you look bruised or overdone..Colors are buildable so they can be as sheer or as dark as you like. Not a fan of sponge tip applicators but the ones that come with this have a great lining side..And yes,it's expensive($52) but in this case you get what you pay for

I have green eyes and I have difficulty in finding lilac and mauve shades that suit my PPP complexion without looking too bright. This palette is fabulous. It really brings out the colour in my eyes. It looks bright in the pan but once applied it is beautiful buildable colour. I think that this palette would suit all skin and eye colourings. A truly beautiful palette; where all of the shades are wearable from a gorgeous plum to a sleek mink.

This is an amazing color ensemble, the 5 colors match perfectly w/ each other (which not always happens in palettes).
The texture is awesome, soft, velvety extremely easy to blend.
I think this is a luxurious box appropriate for wearing in special occasions not for casual occasions though, like i wouldn't put it on purpose for a weekend in the country or for going to the supermarket.
I think it might not be appropriate for fairy skinned girls, but on warm skinned ones (NC30 here) looks amazing not heavy at all.
If you're a fan of purple smokey eye then you shouldn't miss this one.

pros: flattering colors in shades of iridescent white/pink, pearl pink, lilac grey, light purple, darker purple. pink undertones, wearable.
cons: on me, it was not as shimmery as it looks in the pan. More matte finish than I would have liked.
worth the price, but will not repurchase since I probably won't hit pan ever

Yeah it's expensive, but the shades are beautiful, the texture is fine, they go on smoothly, and the staying power is good.
I have many Dior palattes, they diverse in their texture. Mystic Jade for one I don't like at all. But this palatte I love it absolutely. All five colours look stunning. I particularly like the deep purple in the lower left and the irridisent pink in the middle.
A note is that I have boring deep brown eyes, NC20 skin tone. The shades look flattering on me

Wow! This palette is just amazing! It's part of the fall 2006 collection for Christian Dior. As always, the Dior eye shadows are perfectly pigmented and just excellent quality. I use all of the shadows in this wonderful quint. The darkest makes a wonderful eyeliner color, and the lightest (middle one) makes a great highlighter for under the brows.
I have to agree with other reviwers, it is one of the prettiest palettes!
The colors are very blendable, the texture is smooth and just lovely.
For reference, I have blue eyes and I have to say that pinks, mauves, taupes and purples work lovely on my eye lids.
Stylish Move is one of my favorite items in my MU stash, that's for sure!

I rarely buy palettes, but this one is gorgeous palette, and so versatile. I use the lighter shades for daytime, and concentrate on the darker shades for glam (the darkest amethyst color makes a beautiful liner, especially when wet.) I must admit I hardly ever use the opalescent (center) highlighter, but don't really care because the other shades are so flattering to my blue/green/gray eyes. No red undertones, which is my biggest complaint with most shadows in the purple/mauve family. Great silky texture, and very minimal creasing on my super oily lids.
